This review is not based on the food but the service. I attended an event for the City Council member in the district. The outside seating area was full to capacity and a lively crowd. The inside was dimly lit with a mid sized crowd. There are 4 rooms/sections. The entrance with a wall full of black and white photos displaying the history of the area. There is the dance floor area. First of all, walking up to this place...just got me excited! Such a beautiful entry. I just started thinking how can I come here more. The host was really warm and personable and we got seated right away. We were a table for 4, but we had come a little earlier. It was nice to be seated so that we could get a jump on looking at the menu. We shared a few appetizers such as the Cashew hummus crudo and the calamari. I really enjoyed dining at Edendale. The beer selection was above-average, the food top-notch, and the service was outstanding. Our server, I believe her name was Missy, was efficient, friendly, and, dare I say, playfully flirtatious. Her charm made this meal memorable in just about every way. I'll be sure to visit Edendale when I'm in this part of town again.
