I really enjoyed dining at Edendale. The beer selection was above-average, the food top-notch, and the service was outstanding. Our server, I believe her name was Missy, was efficient, friendly, and, dare I say, playfully flirtatious. Her charm made this meal memorable in just about every way. I'll be sure to visit Edendale when I'm in this part of town again.

This review is not based on the food but the service. I attended an event for the City Council member in the district. The outside seating area was full to capacity and a lively crowd. The inside was dimly lit with a mid sized crowd. There are 4 rooms/sections. The entrance with a wall full of black and white photos displaying the history of the area. There is the dance floor area. Next room includes the bar and lastly the dining area. As I walked throughout the entire restaurant, staff was serving, assisting, communicating and guiding customers. It was clear the team has a top notch staff crew. I look forward to returning for dinner to update my review.

First of all, walking up to this place...just got me excited! Such a beautiful entry. I just started thinking how can I come here more. The host was really warm and personable and we got seated right away. We were a table for 4, but we had come a little earlier. It was nice to be seated so that we could get a jump on looking at the menu. We shared a few appetizers such as the Cashew hummus crudo and the calamari. Strongly suggest the hummus-had a nice texture and garlicky. Then for dinner, I got the steak frites and my husband got the fish and chips. I preferred his and he preferred mine. Always nice to share! For drinks, I tried the Hibiscus margarita and the R&R-both were good and the price is less than most restaurants, which I loved. The server was very attentive. I can't wait to go back and would definitely love to bring friends that are visiting from outside of LA to try this place.

i ate here this week with a friend after looking at this place on line a few times. The food was very good. i had the salmon , which was delicious. My friend had a pasta, and sausage bowl. That dish was just ok to me. The menu is very varied with no clear theme or cuisine type, but thats ok if the quality is there, and i think it is. The service was also very good, very attentive and sweet. The decor was more casual than I anticipated, no table cloths and kinda uncomfortable wooden chairs. This certainly did put anyone but me off, as the place was full with what seemed to be a young local crowd. My pino was really good too. So i would come back, but not rush back, maybe when its nice out and we could sit outside.

Came on a Saturday for a friends birthday and it was busy! Fun busy! The inside tables were busy and outside was also busy. Everyone was nice and friendly! I really like how we started outside then came inside later on to an open table! Drinks were very tasty and we had fries. Recommend this place for your celebration!

We’ve been coming to Edendale regularly now - love all the happy hours and the unique roaring 20s ambience. I swear some corners and tables are draftier than others ?

Great atmosphere and food. But, owners, please please please add something on the side to ahi tuna plate!

While the staff here is commendable, my experiences with certain patrons have been disappointing. On multiple occasions, I encountered individuals who were intrusive, tactless, and unnecessarily confrontational. It's disheartening to witness such behavior, especially in a city known for its diversity and inclusivity. As someone from New York, I couldn't help but notice the stark contrast in social norms. However, I believe it's important to focus on the positive aspects of any establishment. For those seeking genuine connections and a welcoming atmosphere, I recommend exploring alternative venues that prioritize respect and camaraderie.

I love the atmosphere at Edendale. Kinda feels like a place you would go to in Santa Barbara. And the outside seating is nice bc it's not just some tables on the sidewalk! The salmon teriyaki and the Caesar were yummy. The cauliflower was just ok. Restaurant is dog friendly in the patio and bar.
