“We had fantastic time at Lola's. Food was amazing and portions are vere generous. We were there on Friday night ans it was packed. Live music was a total hit so after delicious dinner even did some dancing. By far one of the best looking peruvian restaurants. If there was anything to be desired it was hot outside and couple of their ac units were not functioning so it was a bit hot inside but ambience and food and service made up for it. “Amazing food and atmosphere“

“Came here for the 1st time after years of driving by. We got the sampler knowing it was small tacos, but assorted fillings, which is perfect. Also, we ordered a pork tamale, ceviche tostada, cochinita taco, and chile relleno burrito, all items were on their cute chalk board, no prices though.
Everything we tried was delicious and fresh, some of the tacos didn't need salsa, but highly recommend you get all of them. The ceviche tostada was a refreshing bite after those spicy tacos, I almost ordered another, but had to try the rest. The tamale was crumbly(?) dough like we prefer and the chile relleno was also good in comparing it to other restaurants around there, but not as hearty as at a burrito place.
We will be returning to try other items and more ceviche tostadas.
Parking is hard to find in the area when street sweep passes, but there's a public lot a block away you might find parking or bus it.“

Styled like an impeccably artful, primarily counter-seating neighborhood restaurant of the sort you might find in Tokyo, Ceviche Project is a labor of love by a guy who puts together creative raw bar, crudo sashimi and ceviche courses with great care and attention to detail. He also serves a mean Michelada and has an excellent wine selection. I’ve been following his career ever since he was doing ceviche pop-ups in and around LA, and have watched his skills grow and evolve over the years like a sushi master, but for ceviche. He also spins an awesome selection of vintage Latin American vinyl to set the mood. Can’t recommend Ceviche Project highly enough!“

“I'd like to share my experience at Encanto restaurant. The warm, welcoming atmosphere with soft lighting and pleasant music makes you want to stay, relax, and enjoy a good conversation. I came with my wife and child - we were greeted politely and seated exactly where we felt most comfortable. I started with the signature Margarita: perfect in presentation and flavor balance - it immediately set a great mood. Next, I ordered the ceviche set. The first two (Cona Konpachi and Aguachile) were truly outstanding - a symphony of flavors with perfectly balanced ingredients that complemented each other beautifully. The other two ceviches in the set, however, felt unbalanced - the dominant note was excessive acidity. For mains, I had the grilled fish - served on a sizzling hot pan, with a deep charred aroma and a well-judged marinade. Excellent. The steak, unfortunately, disappointed: first it was overcooked, then undercooked. But a special thank you to our server, Kristi - she was attentive and professional, and she turned my overall experience back into a very positive one. I highly recommend Encanto for its ambiance and service. As for the food - some dishes are fantastic, others still need fine-tuning. But with a team like this, I believe this restaurant can definitely bring you great pleasure.“

“Had a great meal here before a show at the Paramount. My husband had fajitas and I had the potato dish with added rosemary potatoes 🤩. I couldn’t finish mine - very filling but absolutely delicious. “I was in search of a good Chile Relleno Burrito and Google Maps suggested Calimex. I'm so glad it did! Easily one of the best I've ever had. The poblano chile was the star of the show. It was fresh and green, didn't taste heavily fried or buried underneath a ton of cheese. And the rice and beans packed a ton of flavor. Great flour tortilla too. It didn't look like the flour tortillas were homemade, but they were so fresh and delicious they could pass for homemade. Definitely a labor of love, the whole family is back there in the kitchen having a good time together and making incredible food. Will be back! Looked like a popular gathering spot for families and groups.“

“Best savory empanadas in town!

They’re big but not cheap. Most are more than $5 each. They’re packed full of food though! They are aesthetically pleasing - especially the spinach and cheese one.

The spinach and cheese empanada is their best. It’s a masterpiece! It’s really flavorful. Great spinach taste! The ham and cheese empanada is also very good but a bit greasy. I’ve tried some of the other empanadas and they’re good too.

The deli part of the restaurant has all kinds of Chilean goodies! Like wines!

They have a deli and a restaurant. I haven’t been to the restaurant in a while but the food is good there too.

Parking is a problem but they have a lot in the rear.“

“I had such a great experience here that I had to leave a review. The food was absolutely delicious—everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. You can tell right away that the cook really knows what they’re doing. Every bite hit the spot, from the seasoning to the presentation.

On top of that, the service and atmosphere made it even better. It feels like the place is in great hands now—the new owner clearly knows what she’s doing. There’s a level of attention and pride here that you don’t see everywhere, and it really shows.

The customer service is always great super friendly staff. Place was pretty packed but they were quick with the drinks, I was not waiting forever. There's many places to sit and just enjoy the day chilling with your drink and/or significant other. There's always plenty of parking at this location so that's never an issue either.“

Great wine selection for wine lovers, and a simple cocktail menu for the liquor fan.
They gave me a mega pint for my gin tonic, which I am far from complaining.

The staff is super kind, super attentive to make sure our beverages and table was clear.

We ordered:
Anticuchos - Heart Skewers with a side of roasted potatoes, peruvian corn and rocoto sauce. I am an organ meat fan so this hit the spot. Add a dash of the rocoto sauce as it brings the flavor to a new level

Bistec Con Tllarin Verde: The rib eye steak was perfectly cooked medium rare, seasoned simply. They do provide sauces on the side to enjoy of course. It comes with a savory Creamy pesto Linguine to pair with the protein.

To share with a group of 5, additionally a dish called
Chancho Al Palo : Rotisserie Style Pork, with their crispy skin, sweet plantains and white rice. Comes with a lovely Salsa Criolla. Another well perfected pork, keeping its savory juice within. The Salsa Criolla tops it up to the finest pairing“
