“You guys are awsome. Stela and the cashier were awesome tonight. We came in almost at close and they were super nice and even cooked fresh food for us. We came from far and barely made it but they made our dinner and night perfect. You need more like your crew you had tonight. Starting from management all the way to your cook. Had the best smile and ready to make the food even if it was time for them to almost go home.“
“Best breakfast burrito I've ever had! I'm a California native & a connoisseur of breakfast burritos. The "Antojito" has refried black beans & the lightest crispy hash browns! If you want a mountain of bacon, go to Lucky Boy in Pasadena. I will be at Antojitos where the balance is perfect! Great green salsa too!The Cafe de Olla is great! That's coffee brewed with extras like cinnamon, orange, & pilloncillo (brown sugar cane). Delicious“
“One of my favorite pupuserias in the area. Outstanding revuelta pupusas. My only complaint is the price. I ordered 3 pupusas with Casamiento and a jamaica. $29.00 before tip. That's literally double what other places will charge. It's good food but just too expensive.“
“Today my husband and I, visiting from Florida, took a walk in hopes of finding lunch while our Los Angeles daughter continued her work day from home. What a find! We stumbled across Three Borders Grill. My husband ordered a Tronnquito and after explaining that I'm a vegetable and either chicken, beef, or fish eater, #37 was recommended minus the black beans and rice. OMG does not describe the deliciousness of what was put in front of me. Everything was garden fresh, including red, yellow, and orange peppers, brocolli, asparagus, and a large amount of chicken. We both were amazed at the presentation and the flavor. We also had 2 all-natural drinks with our meal. Mine was orange based and my husband's was pineapple. Very refreshing with no sugar added. Then, they prepared a fried banana for us to share, but without the sugar they usually add. I can't recall a more satisfying dining experience and we just stumbled across this gem. We chatted with the owner and she shared the meaning of her three-border concept and her love of using very fresh and natural ingredients. We were so impressed that we asked if she'd pose with us for a photo. Absolutely made my day!“
“Horchata was bomb. Tacos are small usually its two tortillas and spill-over meat makes a second. Tortillas were somewhat undercooked. Other than being small gourmet playhouse looking portions it was good. It was more once in a lifetime kinda meal not beefy hearty get full go to work filling kinda meal. Its more like a Go alone buy a second round of the sampler kind of meal. Its pricey but worth it.Parking: Dont wear plaid or red or blue. There was a face tattoo guy leaving the parking lot.“
“Nice Mexican restaurant in the Los Feliz neighborhood in LA. The restaurant had great ambiance and attentive service. We had an assortment of vegan and vegetarian sides, including flautas (made vegan), beans, rice, and fingerling potatoes. The dessert options included vegan sorbets and vegetarian churros.Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options with a clearly labeled menu. Many of the Vegetarian items can be made vegan.“
“Food is amazing, fresh and looks incredible. It will get pricy to get full so be prepared to order more than you think. Service was also wonderful. Our only complaint was the epic volume level of the restaurant. Something with the acoustics but we were pretty much forced to shout at each other to be heard. Also outdoor dining didn’t look appealing being right on Hyperion with a ton of traffic in your face.“
“Amazing Mexican food. The home made tortillas were so good and the Mexican brown rice was such an awesome brown rice prep. Great service, nice people. We missed a couple items on our takeout order and the restaurant promptly refunded us. Really appreciated the help with that one.“
“Found this cevichera hidden on a strip of Hispanic grocery stores and barber shops. Small and cozy. Reminds me of places in Puerto Vallarta. All of it fresh and lots of pride put into cleanliness and honest service. ** Cash only ** Had the ATM break down on me while dispensing money and they offered to cover missing money and take it up with the bank later. No one does that honest transaction anymore. No one... Speaks a lot for the integrity of the business.“
“This is my first time trying Korean-Latin cuisine, which is so delicious! The owner suggested ordering the kalbi cheese fries which I'm glad that I ordered it! I got the rock combination plate and double cheeseburger as well! They have a self serve salad bar near the front which is convenient! The staff here so very friendly and it was a little empty at that time we came in so they were able to help us out! I loved how they put the posters around the store!“
“A lovely little spot. The food here is amazing and caters to a wide variety of tastes and diets. Our server was a wonderfully charismatic individual. The outside city streets melt away in the atmosphere. Will be recommending to friends looking for a nice, chill evening out with company.“
“This is probably the highest-rated restaurant I've ever seen on Google Maps, and after having breakfast here it is easy to see why. The atmosphere is so casual and welcoming, the service is fantastic and warm, and the food is so, so good! You HAVE to eat here at least once, this is the kind of place you see in movies, the "spot" the protagonist knows. An absolute gem!Dietary restrictions: I am currently on the border of pre-diabetes, so I can't eat rice or tortillas. This restaurant does offer these things if you like (and I SO wanted them) but the majority of food available was packed with protein and fat, and there was a healthy salad to put on the side. Genuinely one of the best selections I could hope for.“
“First of all, the waiter (Colombian) who served us was very friendly and attentive, not only with us but with other customers. The only fault was that the food took a while to come out.As for the food, very delicious. My only recommendation is: Please please the customer with the quality of the meat. The atmosphere was pleasant but it did feel a little stuffy, since we were sitting at the tables in the entrance and exit hallway. In general, it met my expectations, since it is difficult to find Nicas restaurants where the food is tasty and the prices are affordable. ?Vegetarian options: The dishes generally have meat but you can order fried food.“
“I’m a dtla local and I would highly recommend the art room to anyone. Super chill and relaxed environment for creatives… or really just anyone. Mark and Rafael provided amazing customer service and took care of us the entire time. Drinks, food, atmosphere… everything was great. I they made a long term customer. Thank you!“
“The food is 10/10 but the crew is what really makes this place one of my favorite spots to go to. These are some of the kindest most hard working people I’ve met. It’s a great opportunity not only to enjoy incredible food but also support these great humans.“
“Wow, the meat of my steak was not only soft but also very delicious, even though it was seasoned, the flavor was exact, the freshness and juiciness was exact, we turned the beans over if they were missing a little, the good Russian salad was very delicious and fresh, to have a pineapple vevida tiki ? (soda)“
“If you are a vegetarian or have dietary restrictions this is the place you are looking for. The menu is full of veggie options and let's not forget about their 1L homemade juices and smoothies.Tree house restaurant with a huge tree in the front, that has birds talking and singing all evening.“
“I was really impressed by the great taste of the food and the quality of service showed by its staff, Peter customer service skills are outstanding by all means)) Kudos to the folks in the kitchen, because their food was delicious!Vegetarian options: Saltado“
“Originally we wanted to go to San Laurel but they only open for dinner. So Agua viva was our second option but, it turned out as a present surprise. Outdoor seat was a bit chilly but good vibe with LA downtown look down view. Service is nice. Good Spanish wine list, foods are just amazing. Never disappointed by Jose Andrés restaurants. Everything was great, and the best was the dessert. Very creative, nice presentation and of course delicious. Highly recommend this place and we will revisit por supuesto!Parking: Valid parking is $15 with validation.“
“One of the best coffee shops in LA. Cafecito cubano con leche is one of the best I’ve tried so far. It’s strong as well as smooth at the same time. And tres leches muffin was just delicious. Highly recommend coffee aficionados to check out and try this “
“Literally the best bakery I have been to! I ordered my birthday cake from here and it did not disappoint. Not only was the cake designed beautifully, but it was super fresh, delicious and jam-packed with strawberry jam. Customer service was excellent as well. The employees/owners were very friendly and nice.“
“A conglomerate of Guatemalan street food vendors located at the intersection of Bonnie Brae & 6th St. after 5pm. Parking will be the toughest thing to find but you may be able to test your luck at the Rite Aid/Food 4 Less plaza nearby. The food is pretty cheap but absolutely delicious! Pricing along all the vendors seem to be similar for the same type of foods and being able to speak Spanish is a big plusRecommend:- Garnachas (mini potato tamales)- Pollo y papa's fritas (fried chicken & fries)- Churrasco (grilled meats - notably the longaniza)Note: There is a lot of grilling & frying going on, so be prepared to have your clothes smelling like smoke after you leave.“
“I have been a face painter at Mr. Bones pumpkin patch throughout the month of October, and almost every day I’ve been there, I got lunch from the Maravilla truck. They are incredible!! Everything I tried was delicious, and the seasoned fries were a personal favorite. They are all so friendly too. Face painting at the patch is definitely a high pressure job, especially when it’s busy, and Maravilla really helped to keep my spirits (and energy) up the whole time! Thank you Maravilla for everything!!“
“The best grilled chicken smoked like a barbecue grill in town this is a must try must eatVegetarian options: Other vegetarian options are planting salad rice beansKid-friendliness: Kid friendly fries also plantainsWheelchair accessibility: Double door accessible for wheelchair“
“Holy cow... The food. Amazing. Wonderful. Delightful. Simple, quality ingredients cooked with love. Best restaurant food I've had in years. Every bite was perfect.Service. Beyond par. Attentive but not too much. Friendly and polite. Perfect.Atmosphere is a cool-cat hang with Dizzy Gillespie at a recording session. Awesome.“
“No matter if you are chilean or not. This is worth giving a try for the most traditional chilean food.Try the sopaipillas, empanadas (very good) and pastel de choclo. Really took me all the way back home. And don't forget to say "Hola" to the tables around you!! Everybody will enjoy talking to you in "chileno" and drag you to visit the country.“
“I have come to their new spacious location and loved it.Prices are great, service is good too. I have bought their yucca, chiles rellenos, tamales, empanadas, pupusas, and pastelitos in bulk for a birthday party. It was the best. I have gone back at least 4 times, and I have always been ver pleased with the food, service and prices. I highly recommend it.“
“Me and my girls went out for girls night and decided to come to kalaveras best decision we made! Vibes were immaculate and everyone was super nice. The drinks were super cute and were delicious the food was alright I give it a 7/10 but everything else was super good. They play all different type of music that’s what we loved about this place I really recommend coming here to celebrate anything !!“
“Got bean and cheese pupusas and they are some of the best I have tried-- and I have tried a lot; even ones from El Salvador itself. And the price wasn't too bad at 2.50 a pupusa The girl helping us out was super sweet and patient. I will def be back to this little hole in the wall!“
“Definitely a little restaurant with delicious Guatemalan food. I'm picky with Guatemalan food as I lived there for a few years. They definitely serve delicious food, I lived in Guatemala for many years and I'm used to the chapin seasoning and this place has it.“
“Newer cocktail spot across from low boy and the others on sunset. I walked in and said wow this looks just like the old Bar Calo vibes...turns out it's the same owner! The bartender Frank fired up some martinis and a dreamy boy...I came for one, and ended up having 3. They are dangerously good. Shaken with a ton of ice, you do NOT taste the alcohol. Super delicious and went down quick. Frank made me laugh and was too fun to deal with. Quite honestly ; this spot will blow up as one of the best cocktail spots within the mile radius...sorry, it's that good. I usually complain about prices but the vibe and taste were too good, it was worth every penny.“
“The sourcing of ingredients here are INCREDIBLE for the price.Yeah it's expensive and their tacos aren't really worth the price : portions ratio, everything else is incredible though.I've been eating here for over 10 years, just keeps getting better. I miss their desserts though.“
“We went for dinner, we arrived at 8pm and there was no service at the table, only takeaway... the food was very delicious and well served, the place is not very big but it is cozy! Totally recommended... the prices are affordable, we ordered for two and spent around 40 dollars.Kid-friendliness: If you come from Peru or Latin America you will find rice!!! What do children ask for...“
“This hidden little gem on Panorama city has one of the best sandwiches in the entire valley. I'm glad I found it. When you go in do yourself a favor and ask for a "Steak torta with everything on it". I've tried a few dishes from there but every little thing was on point. The gordita with nopales is also a must try if you are running a veggie diet. 10/10 would take the president to eat there.“
“I love this little place. I come regularly for the revuelta pupusas. Not greasy. Other joints give me a bad belly. Not this one. The asada torta also hits the spot. The ladies who run it cook food that I imagine they would make for their own families!“
“I've had the carne asada quesadilla and asada tacos which are amazing. This food truck provides your food with plenty of sauces and sides to compliment their flavorful meals. I frequent them often as they are conveniently located close to my home. I haven't tried their tortas or burritos but will be trying them soon :p“
“Wow!! Those Tamales are off the HOOK DELICIOUS!! Cooked to the science, ( Tamale slid right out of the corn husks), got them back to the grubbing place in Temple City and still hot enough to eat. Walked in and Charlie, nice guy, chopped it up with my Son, and I. Pics to follow. The signage on the walls, family pictures, Mr Tamale Man himself, awards of sponsorships, acknowledgements through out the years. So, eplease come out, if you already know and come here for some great, honest, Mexican Food, spread the word for the Raza, and visit this Gem in the wall place on Eastern Ave in El Sereno see for yourself? The moral of my story is when all else fails...... Remember, go back to basics. My name is Chuy, aka Jesse Vara Viramontes signing off for now, for it's 5:20am, SGV time. Lol“
“Any small place with various weekday night specials wins my heart. Fish tacos on Wednesdays is my jam here. Two fish tacos and a side of fries under $10!!! You're winning win you eat here. Staff is nice and the atmosphere is laid back.“
“This place is killer!!!! ALL the food was delicious. Service was outstanding!!! I wish I lived closer. The chicken is as good as I have ever had. Tried a little bit of everything and it was all GOOD!!!!! Hope to come back for the baby back ribs.“
“It's a little place but it's the best most authentic peruvian roasted chicken you'll find in LA.Great price good portionsLove the salad dressing. Need the recipe! It smells like peru when you walk through the door. With the wood they use to roast the chicken.“
“Could improve good price they let you choose from a variety of Guatemalan food excellent location I would recommend it for a good price handmade Guatemalan style tortillas very clean I liked the chiles stuffed with chicken and the elbow salad very good.It could improve good price they let you choose from a variety of Guatemalan food excellent location I would recommend it good price Guatemalan style handmade tortillas very clean I liked the chiles rellenos de pollo and the coditos salad very good“
“Highly recommend Que Bárbaro, food was superb, every single dish was delicious. We had the Leche de Tigre, and Wagyu empanadas to start, along with the Oro cocktail and we were enchanted by the flavors. We had a reservation but the restaurant was obviously full on a Friday night, so we decided to seat at the bar, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Bryan was extremely attentive, we got a first row view of the menu seating right in front of the kitchen. We decided to go for the picanha steak and the truffle mash potatoes, which were to die for. We are definitely going back to try the rest of the menu. The wait was definitely worth it! Thank you Bryan and your team for great dinner!“
“I really like this spot for "to-go" mexican food. I've been coming here for years and seeing the same faces. This is a solid spot where the service is always friendly and the food is delicious. I enjoy their chicken salad, camarones, and tacos. The salsa and chips here are soo good. Thank you! ❤️“
“Nothing more than to say but always delicious and affordable. Whenever I'm around the area, I always come into eat the variety of hot food they sell. I've tried enough plates and their agua frescas to say that it's flavorful and filling. Aside from the food, the service is also great. I'm always greeted with such kindness and friendliness.“
“Excellent, delicious, and authentic Chapin food. This is the closest it gets to eating at your native precious country. The place is impecable clean, with smiles and greetings as you walk in. The place is rather small (but that's when you know that you're in for a treat). The flavor, at least of the churrasco plate, or the pipian plate, according to my mother, were exceptionally good. Right on point, the service is also right on. The parking is a little small bur there's a Home Depot across the street with plenty of extra parking, begging to be used. There's soft music playing, but it's at such a perfect volume that it doesn't make you raise your voice, and you can hear the conversation without struggle. They're very courteous, polite, with a smile and the greatest of attitudes. If you're curious about Guatemalan authentic flavor I highly recommend you try out this small place that pack a punch of good flavor. Did I mention the tortillas (soft corn shell)are made by hand and the Aguas frescas without a ton of sugar or additives. I had a pineapple water, and my mother an Horchata, very very good indeed. I can't speak of the bathrooms because I didn't use them. Plus they also have merchandise for sale, that are also the real deal.“
“Small place but food is always good, my dad was going thru some health issue and he will always ask for food from this place staff was always friendly and knew who I was ordering food for every time I will put a phone order they will Always ask for my dad how was he doing. Thank you.“
“This placed is praised for their quality tamales. The best in the whole of the San Fernando valley. Freshly made tamales daily packed with meat and flavors. They take orders over the phone and sell uncooked frozen ones for those that want to steam cook them fresh at home like my family did with 2 dozen tamales on Christmas. Been a customer for more than 8 years.“
“Wow!!! I randomly stumbled across this place because I was fed up w traffic (LA people know what I'm talking about). Pepper Steak w Fries was unbelievable! I've had my share of great steaks but I literally used my fork to cut it up. That speaks to the quality of the meat. Homemade tortillas were thick like a pita which blew me away. They soaked up that mushroom pepper sauce to perfection. Apparently this place is under new ownership and the Chef knows his $H!T...he came out talked to me and told me he has been here less than a year. I cant speak on the rest of the menu but what I ate was amazing! Beer and wine too. Ignore that Pico Blvd. traffic and treat yourself to a steak and beer. I rarely write reviews as you can see but this place deserved one. Enjoy“
“Deliciousness, tried their yucca con chicharron. Although fried it was not greasy. The yucca was perfectly golden brown. Also had their platanos with beans and cream. Last but not least had a bowl of their atol de elote. Wow-just like my grandmother used to make it. Everything was so good. Pupusas are delicious too.“
“Didn't take any pictures, but there's so much variety with this place! Next time I'm coming back, I'm definitely getting their $27 box of 6! Oh, and their dessert Nutella + Banana Empanada was really good! Sorry! No pics!“
