I loved how every sauce had a distinct, fresh, and delicious flavor. The vibe was great, and it was a surprisingly smooth and new experience seeing the chef run the kitchen and dining room entirely on his own.
Octavio’s passion project is simply one of the best restaurants in all of LA. Styled like an impeccably artful, primarily counter-seating neighborhood restaurant of the sort you might find in Tokyo, Ceviche Project is a labor of love by a guy who puts together creative raw bar, crudo sashimi and ceviche courses with great care and attention to detail. As far as Mexican Ceviches in Los Angeles this place takes the cake. Seafood very fresh and always consistent, my go to everytime. Holbox would be second then everyone else...

The staff is accommodating and fun to interact with, making reservations necessary due to the limited space. Despite the urban setting, the dining experience is transcendent with high-quality dishes and harmonious beverage pairings. The menu features delicious seafood dishes like ceviche, aguachile, tostadas, and oysters, with the king kanpachi tostada being a particular favorite. Customers describe the restaurant as a "local gem" with a "relaxed atmosphere" and Octavio provides a "completely engrossing and sensational culinary experience."
