“Another time we were at BODEGON 69, it was a wonderful experience where everything that is expected for calcification was combined such as a great restaurant, service, atmosphere, food all excellent, but if that were not enough the owners Mauricio and Sandra showed us their usual gratitude for our visit but also with incredible generosity, surprising us with the unasked for preparation of a Peruvian snack in addition to a dessert that is not on the list and that Mauricio in charge of preparing it at that precise moment. Thanks for everything Sandra and Mauricio. A very strong hug.“

“Possibly the best and freshest Mexican style seafood in LA Think fine from a James Beard award winning chef and kitchen on the very casual setting of a food court It’s busy so get in early as the line to order grows quickly Plenty of parking with extra space at rear of the car park for the overflow This is a must try if you are in the area“

“This was such a special experience. The owner is a one man show. His attention to excellence, human connection and an obvious love for what he does is what makes this place so lovely. This is a passion project and I highly recommend it. Come with the expectation that you will be cared for and the dining pace is thoughtful but not meant to be hurried. The dishes are composed, clean, light and made with high quality ingredients. The place is small which makes for an intimate experience. I will definitely be back to support this small but mighty restaurant.“

“A little hole in the wall place. We really like the bean & cheese , beef & bean and the green chili & bean burritos . They are all deep fried and oh so good . They do have a full menu. The only downside is that seating is outside and no shade.“

“I love this little place. I come regularly for the revuelta pupusas. Not greasy. Other joints give me a bad belly. Not this one. The asada torta also hits the spot. The ladies who run it cook food that I imagine they would make for their own families!“

“The waitress was very professional and explained the menu in a great way. Try it out! You won't regret it.
My only negative (which didn't really affect the food) was that I wanted it more spicy. I understand most people don't like high levels of spice so I am not holding that against them.“

“They treated me very kindly and the food is very delicious. I ordered 2 plates of roast beef and a plate of roast chicken. They served it with beans, rice, chives, elbow or fresh salad and tortillas. We were very satisfied. For me, the price of the dish is good. .“
“A small venue, with seating available inside and outside the venue. The service was pleasant, the staff was very friendly, the service was fast, the dishes have a very good homemade flavor, the dishes are also large, the price is very affordable, they have a bathroom to wash your hands which is very necessary, so I highly recommend them .“

“Oh Guisados, as a former Angeleno now I’m just lucky when my road trip passes the Cesar Chavez exit and I can get a dirty horchata and tacos that I could never make at home. I will always stop off for you even if I’m not hungry <3“

“Had a great meal here before a show at the Paramount. My husband had fajitas and I had the potato dish with added rosemary potatoes 🤩. I couldn’t finish mine - very filling but absolutely delicious. The proprietor is welcoming and helpful. We will definitely return and I will make more sensible choices!“

“Im giving all 5 stars because although it is a hole in the wall we were able to eat and enjoy our food. The food was so authentic down to their horchata. It was some of the best salvadorean food I've had. Prices are a bargain great for takeout! Customer service was outstanding. Hands down great salvadorean food.“

“Grabbed a quick dinner and drinks here. You just walk in, open seating. Scan a QR code to see the menu and then order at the bar. You’ll get your drinks at the bar and then dinner is brought out to you. Then to close your tab you have to go back to the bar which can be a bit of a wait unfortunately. But not too bad. The tacos were great. We went right before happy hour was ending and got $5 tacos. They were really good.“

“I just finished a review of San Laurel and wanted to do A shout out to this gem of a Bar. I will only be reviewing the bar at this point because I have not eaten here yet, as I said I just reviewed San Laurel because that's where we had just come from haven eaten most of their menu, we had fully intended on leaving. We stood at the elevator glancing to our left we noticed the bar at Agua Viva and decided we should take a look at it. Before we got there we were intercepted by a manager who couldn't have been more wonderful and helpful showing us around and telling us about the spot then offering perhaps a seat at the bar for which we gladly accepted. The bartenders again were perfect and accommodating. The drinks were all wonderful trying more then we should have but it was our anniversary and we did Uber there so believe me we paid for it the next day but we ended meeting most of the staff and talked to everyone, each person nicer then the next. Its a pleasure to have gone to both of these places on our special night, both places treated us like kings and I thank everybody we met and listened to us ramble on for hours. Thank you for making our day perfect I can't recommend San Laurel and Agua Viva enough!“

“This is a congregation of street vendors selling Guatemalan food Straight out of shopping carts and other put together apparatus, Which gives it a very authentic South American feel. The food also taste authentic. I was a little bit surprised at the cost and it seemed to have a tourist fee Built-in. Worth a visit if you Ve never tried before however I don't think I would go back.“
