Got a Perico , cheese arepa and a Taqueno.
Perico was nice, the sauce really carries the arepa. Without the sauce everything lacks flavor but has a good texture. Cheese Arepa is nice if you dip it in sauce but otherwise is a basic item that doesn't stand out. The same goes for the Taqueno, its not a bad item but it doesn't really stand out in any way. Cheese pull isn't good and in the end it reminds me of the pillberry rolled dough with some cheese in the center.

I loved this place when I went to the truck and love it more, now that they have opened a brick and mortar near my house. First it is spotless, especially compared to what was there before. I have had most of the items on the menu and have enjoyed them all. It's not super pricey and the people are nice, as well as being locals. It is one of my go to places.
I’d tried Sus Arepas from their truck before and was so happy to see the opened their restaurant in City Terrace! Their space is so clean and welcoming, I loved all their decor and the details in the space. The food is also fresh, generous portions, and great prices. Can’t wait to go back!

Sus Arepas is a restaurant in City Terrace that started as a truck before opening a brick and mortar location. The space is spotless, clean, and welcoming, with nice decor and details. The atmosphere is laid back and chill. Parking is located in the structure by the car wash as street parking is scarce, and the restaurant can be a little hot inside. The food is fresh, with generous portions and great prices. Most items on the menu have been enjoyed, including the reina arepas, which have a crunch from the corn husk with a savory taste of chicken salad with spicy green sauce. The Korean bbq arepa is a hit, and the Korean flavor fusion is amazing. Arepas are big and tasty, and sides like plantains are perfectly fried and on point. The yucca fries are better than average. The owners are very wholesome and are Dodgers fans, and the staff is very friendly. This is the best food that has been at this location, and it is a go-to place.
