“This little downtown diner is beautiful. I love the art deco aesthetic and for me it is especially fun to revisit downtown because I used to live there for a couple years. It’s located on the ground floor of a high-rise and as mentioned it’s really beautifully designed with a very large bar and a long row of booths and tables to choose from. They also have a very large private outdoor eating area as well so they have plenty of seating options. Parking in this area isn’t too bad, they offer a valet in front or it’s not hard to find street parking on the street the back. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered came out surprisingly fast.
This was my first visit and it took me a minute to decide what I wanted to get because the menu is not very large, but has some great options on it. I ended up choosing the Chilaquiles. I thought they were very good and I enjoyed it very much, however, I wish there would’ve been a protein component to it because after a while it was just all chips. Aside from that the eggs were done perfectly and I would recommend.“

“En Petit Trois, la cocina habla por sí sola. Tanto la hamburguesa como el pescado destacan por una técnica precisa y una ejecución impecable, donde cada elemento está en perfecto equilibrio; dos platillos memorables, difíciles de jerarquizar. Aunque no fue posible degustar la coctelería debido a la política de requerir pasaporte físico para el servicio de alcohol, la propuesta gastronómica se sostiene con absoluta solidez. Una experiencia sobria, bien lograda y digna de repetirse.“

“You have to go to l'Appart by Air Food to experience a delicious French bistrot ambiance. The ambiance outside is very friendly, covid-safe and cosy. The dishes are beyond delicious. Yesterday I had the Plat du Jour with delicious scallops and home made very tasty mash potato puree. The plate are so beautifully presented - it is a pleasure to look. The desserts were delicious as well. There is a shade that separates the table from the streets for privacy. Free parking in the corner street. Brigitte the waitress is very welcoming and the owner / chef are beyond nice. An address to discover !“

“MY GOD!! I wish i could fully describe our experience here! We went for my partners 30th birthday l. The staff were beyond hospitable. If you’re looking for a restaurant where the atmosphere is amazing. Food is 10/10 but the servers really treat you like you are in their home this is the place. I wish I could rate them more stars. Plus they sent us home with some fresh fruit from their trees.“

“An absolute gem and one of a kind dining experience. Go with the mind to slow down as you would if you were dining in Paris. There’s just so much to take in and enjoy. Event detail is so curated. Everything is exceptional, including the wines! Best Viognier I’ve ever had. Being there was a true escape from the city. I was sad to leave and will be back!“

“The restaurant is very small, so expect cramped quarters and small tables. It’s very loud inside.
The staff are great and check on you periodically. The food was excellent. We ordered French onion soup, leeks for appetizer and a baguette. Our mains were roast duck and mushroom pasta. The pavlova dessert was disappointing. The meringue should be a little softer inside.“

“Absolutely loved Chez Mia, came here for a girls night and had the best time. The vibes were great — warm, welcoming, and full of energy. The food was delicious— every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff were so attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. You can tell they care about creating a great experience for their guests. Highly recommend this spot — can’t wait to come back!“

“I love Simonette. The patio is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a cocktail and breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I’ve been there twice now and I can highly recommend the burger on the menu - the fried egg on top completes it! And the mussels in the light cream sauce are wonderful - especially with fries. A friend of mine ordered the fried Bronzino - the complete fish including the head - and she said it was delicious. There are great cocktails available and several wines and Prosecco available by the glass. The onsite valet parking is a bit steep, but there are many nearby options for parking in downtown Culver City if you don’t mind walking a few blocks.“

“As a long time resident of DTLA, this place is our go-to spot for a good food and drink brunch! Takes the searing and guessing out and we know we can always count on Zinque and more importantly their staff to take care of us! I must highlight Saturday and Sundays during the day, you have to drop in while Ramirez is working. He makes every visit here feel like we’re family! He always has a positive vibe, is welcoming, and he’s probably the biggest reason we come back! Thanks for always giving the vibez Zinque and Ramirez!“

“I picked up a pack of 18 wings for a potluck and they were huge hit with the group! Half lemon pepper and half garlic parm. The wings were juicy and the flavors were great. I also like how the order came with sauce and veggie sticks included. I'll definitely be ordering wings from here again.“

“The chicken liver toast was great. Only two bites per order.
Note: Portion sizes are small.
Everyone else got three slices for their peckin duck, and we only got two, that felt odd. And not big slices either. Definitely sus.
Their weakness is the dessert menu. It was too easy to skip.
Overall it was good, quite pricy, but you won’t experience this menu elsewhere and I appreciate that.“

“Entre Nous never disappoints. Co-owner Mathias is a most gracious host who ensures service is attentive and will help you select the ideal wine to complement your meal. Co-owner & chef JC runs a tight kitchen. Every plate is expertly prepared and arrives at your table as the chef intended.
The menu leans heavily on the owner's French background and is the closest thing to a true French bistro that you'll find in LA. Ingredients are of highest quality. Mussels are plump, beef (bœuf) is nicely marbled and flavorful, and the duck confit equally flavorful without be dry. Frites (fries) are the best I've had outside of Paris. They're perfectly seasoned and will arrive piping hot. Lastly, end your meal with the profiterole. Delicious.
The outdoor patio is cozy and wonderful even on a cool night.
Do yourself a favor and make a reservation today.“

“Had their eggs Benedict, it was OK.
Their iced Chai tased mostly like cinnamon water.
Their almond croissant was decent.
All that with tip was $60 for breakfast.
I can think of MANY places where I could have had better breakfast food for that price.
Waitress and hostesses were on point with great service, so at least there’s that.“

“Totally unexpected find in generally sleepy Montrose! Delighted we found Backbone after living here for 15 years and missing having an elevated meal close by. We shared one appetizer (corn agnolotti) and two entrees (NY strip and ribeye, tai snapper) and all of the food was delicious. The corn agnolotti was al dente and a mix of sweet (corn) and buttery and lemony (sauce). Both the steak and ribeye were tender and flavorful, and the snapper was moist and served with a delightful charred kale. Ask for bread to sop up the agnolotti sauce! Staff was friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our meal!“
