“Stopped here for lunch after an early flight in from Ohio. This feels just like a bistro in France (of which I have dined!). The decor and our excellent server Geane made it so. I greatly enjoyed a cold beer with the dry aged burger. My wife's Croque monsieur was huge and killer. We loved this spot, and would have eaten here again on our trip if there weren't so many great options in Hermosa Beach.“

“I don’t have a single bad thing to say about Cafe Bonaparte!! My boyfriend and I are spending the weekend in Hermosa for his birthday and we’ve come to this cafe 3 times and we plan to come again before we leave. Everything was so so good. The bacon, egg and cheese croissant literally made my eyes roll back. All of the pastry’s are fire. Everyone who works here is super kind but especially this one girl (kinda tall, body tea, blonde hair w/ low lights??? And black claw clip). I don’t know her name and clearly don’t know her at all but I could just tell she was a girls girl. She was great and her vibes were amazing. Okay love you bye🤍“

“Went to coucou with a friend to celebrate my birthday. This is on Main Street and there's parking on thr street and there's an underground parking lot on Navy with great service and a flat rate of $9/hr.

The place is small and I went around 6pm so right after happy hour so it was a bit loud but it calmed down after. There is a 3 for $33 deal that is pretty amazing for happy hour. Pretty much all the appetizers. You are allowed to pick 1 drink and 2 food items. I got the classic aperol, it had a little too much aperol for my taste but still good and refreshing.

We got the Zucchini bingets and they were tasty, cheesy. Almost like a fritter but not so much. Also got the fries as well. They were good.

I got the mussels marinere with the coconut cream sauce and honestly I love when places offer mussels in a different kind of sauce than just white wine and garlic. The toast was perfection. My friend got the grilled chicken Paillard and she liked it, came with a side of red sauce. I'll be back for the happy hour to try the apps with seafood. I didn't get w chance to since my friend doesn't eat it. They even gave me a the chocolate mousse with a candle.“

“My husband had the Filet Mignon, and I had the Tomato and Gruyère Tart. For starters, we had a delicious heirloom tomato salad, and ended with coffee and dessert. Everything was fresh and tasted great. We had a Pinot Noir with our meal, which was also delicious. Highly recommend!“

“Our Sunday night takeout meal of Roasted Chicken and Cheese, corn and bacon macaroni gratin was delicious. Paired with a nice French white wine, it was almost as good as eating at the restaurant. Looking forward to future offerings.“

“Last night, I came to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It was my first time eating here, but it was AMAZING! I love Italian food and the best part is it was authentic! Adrien and Sacha (the owners), were sooo helpful and friendly. I LOVED their French accent! They were also very patient with us since we were a pretty big group (and loud). The ambience felt like I was in Paris, lighting not too dark, but not too bright. Very romantic! I LOVE that they are child and stroller friendly. Most restaurants won’t accommodate having a stroller which can be frustrating. I will definitely come here again for a date night with my hubby! Highly recommend!!!!“

“Whether you are in need of the best morning coffee and tasty sandwiches or pastries (to die for); mouth watering pizza evenings with a great classy cocktail; vegan platters, lobster rolls, line-dancing, salsa, house music…. Is there anything the amazing couple running Joliet (Alex and Olivia) cannot do, and do great!?? Come check for yourself but spoiler alert, the answer is No! Do NOT tell too many people about the speakeasy behind the coffee bar… open until 2am…“
