Perle was my second Dine LA restaurant of the season and is a French bistro that has been included on the Michelin guide since 2021. Their Dine LA menu starts at $65 per person but has several add on options available.

Perle Restaurant is a charming spot ideal for a date or special occasion, featuring a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The signature onion soup and beef tartare are notable dishes. The cheese sampler, coque a vin, and truffle pasta are highly recommended, with vegetarians enjoying the truffle pasta. The restaurant offers a good selection of wine and can accommodate various dietary restrictions, including gluten-free and dairy-free options. The interior is warm and inviting, reminiscent of restaurants in NYC and Paris. Customers often indulge in both tarte tartin and soufflé, enjoying the sweet options. The staff is attentive and welcoming, with the service being top-notch. The food is flavorful and slow-cooked to perfection, with dishes like the truffle pasta, vegetable cassoulet, and grilled branzino with mushrooms. The setting provides both outside and inside seating, creating a calm and pleasant environment. Guests start their meal with freshly baked baguette & butter, caviar blini, and truffle arancini, and enjoy main dishes like the truffle pasta and vegetable cassoulet. The cozy ambiance, nice wine selection, and warm service make it a highly recommended French restaurant in Old Town Pasadena.
