Great atmosphere, definitely a nice date place. The service was great and friendly. I didn’t have a reservation but they were able to give me a seat at the bar. I ordered the onion soup and beef tartare. Supposedly onion soup is their signature dish, but it was really salty, I was a bit disappointed…. Because it was a $20 bowl of soup. The beef tartare was excellent, it would be nice if they offer one extra slice of bread and some more salad leaves. I was happy that they have half bottle of wine that I can order. Wine list is quite nice.

They left a lot to be desired during my visit, the cold food and the poor service is a result of terrible management, I hope they can improve.

We had an amazing anniversary dinner at Perle. They brought us a few complimentary glasses of sparkling wine, and a special desert as well! We ordered the cheese sampler, the coque a vin, and the truffle pasta. The portions were enough but could’ve been a bit bigger for the price point, but it was amazing quality! The desserts were incredible as well and it was a great night.Vegetarian options: Truffle pasta was delicious!

Reservation: problematic. Tried to use your online system, which insists on a credit card for possible fees. It is absolutely no problem to get charged when I do not show up. I know it happens waaaay too often and is, especially for small restaurants, a genuine problem. However, it is unacceptable to agree to fees without knowing how much.Food: very tasty. I had the pate - served with bread = fine. The girls shared the charcuterie board, which is served without bread. Why? Then, they tried to get bread - and here comes the most problematic part:Service: Our server was nice, very nice actually - if we could find him. We always had to look out for him. While we enjoyed the food - for my taste, it was too much truffle for the small amount of pasta, but the girls loved their fish/ mussels/ fries, the mark you left was not good enough to impress us. It's a shame, really! Before I put this post online to you, I sent the above to the restaurant to give the restaurant a chance to fix this. In return, after days, I was lectured that I was, as far as it comes to reservation, wrong. So I tried again before I posted this - and ran into the same problems. Hence the one star for service - could have been more.

I tried this year's valentine's day menu and it was pretty yummy. Also, had one cocktail with passion fruit. Their soufflé tastes soft and was pretty sweet for me. Services were ok cause it was a bit busy for them so not attentive enough. The server also offered us free champagne cause we did not really like the lobster bisque. The outdoor seating was nice and warm.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What an incredible experience. Michelin-trained chef, Dean Yasharian and his team, including Austin really outdid themselves. From the attentive service, the amazing food, to the perfect wine pairings, I am so impressed by our experience. I couldn't believe they were able to accommodate my dietary restorations: gluten free and dairy free! All without skimping on flavor. I had an incredible dairy-free lobster bisque for the first time in years! “A Taste of Perle” menu was amazing!!!!Dietary restrictions: They accommodated every dietary restriction: vegetarian, Dairy-free and gluten-free without sacrificing flavor!

This is maybe the 5th best meal I've ever had in my life. It was really good and holds up against some of the really high end restaurants that we've been to. It was pretty pricey, and I was really skeptical when I saw the price that it would be worth it, but it exceeded expectations. We went for Valentine's Day and had the prix fixe menu. Everything had a great presentation and was really tasty. The duck liver was amazing, the truffle arancini was great, the lobster bisque had pepitas in it and was really unique. The beef Wellington was just really savory and had a great sauce. Service was exceptional and the restaurant was really classy.

We went to Perle for our anniversary and had a wonderful meal. They were very welcoming and gave us a cute, secluded table in the corner, which made for an intimate meal. The French onion soup and the apple tartine are musts. I enjoyed my steak frites with béarnaise sauce. The steak was perfect, with a crisp crust but still medium rare as requested. My partner enjoyed the branzino, and the portions were better than expected. We will be coming back for our next celebration!

Disappointment. I'll start with it's been over a year since I dined at Perle and the last time was a spectacular experience. I came with the anticipation of the same and left disappointed. My order, steak frites was dry, and unflavorful. The peppercorn sauce was the right texture but added no unique flavors to the dish. Understand that this entrée is $60 so I should be falling out of my chair with positive expletives. My dining partner ordered a different steak dish, which was also not prepared well. Just bland. Positive notes: The bread was soft on the inside with a well baked crust accompanied by delightful butter. Chocolate soufflé was a triumph. Too bad the main course didn't live up to my last dining experience at Perle. Recommendation: Avoid until they can sort out their menu.

Perle is a rare standout in the greater LA area. The restaurant is decorated in a French Provincial style that truly makes you feel like you've been transported to Paris for the evening. The side-by-side traditional and vegetarian/vegan menus are exquisite. The mushroom "escargots" are divine, oysters are delicate, delicious and subtle. We can't get enough of the salade au bleu and, of course, the French onion soup is not to be missed (I enjoy the vegetarian version). The menus shifts every-so-often and never disappoints, from coq-au-vin to bouillabaisse, ratatouille and cassoulet. All are divine and superb! If you can't decide what to eat, there's always the tasting menu that allows you to try more deliciousness. Bar and wine offerings are fabulous and complement the meals delightfully, and the service is elevated to match their all around high standards. Ç'est tres magnifique!
