“Late Review, we dined here (party of 6) around Christmas Time 2022 to celebrate hubby's birthday and also meeting my newly wed cousin Joanne and hubby for the first time. I am very well pleased with the ambiance, like dining at my home's formal dining room. We ordered practically everything in their extensive menu. The food was served promptly and everything delicious !! Everyone enjoyed the feast. I would like to thank the owner especially for giving us a 5 Star personalized service, making it a memorable dining experience. Regrettably cousin Joanne recently passed at a younger age of 48. I will always remember our happy gathering here ♥️“

“It’s always a great combination when you get good food with good service . Ate Anna was such a delight to have. She was very welcoming . She really made us feel at home and a part of the family. The food was good . We ordered calamari, chicharon bulaklak, Laing, crispy pata , sisig and rice .
Honestly it was really good, food came nice hot and fresh.
The decoration of the restaurant is also very vibrant .
Parking isn’t a problem with the availability , it’s just kind of a tight space.“

“If youre looking for authentic Filipino restaurant with reasonable price, Tita Lina’s Filipino restaurant is the place to go. Food is authentic and deliciously made, staff are friendly, hard working and helpful, Only concerns are not enough parking spaces and absence of toilet facility otherwise, its home away from home culinary delight, highly recommended.“

“FOOD:
The food was underwhelming for the price. I usually love sisig, but their pork sisig was overcooked (burnt), losing the essence of the dish. The chicken inasal was decent, though not something I’d order again. The pakwan salad felt like a missed opportunity—essentially just watermelon slices with basil vinaigrette. The lechon was alright, but nothing to rave about, and the sinigang shrimp chips tasted like they were just dusted with sinigang mix powder.
On a positive note, the pancit and chicken oil rice were the standout dishes—delicious and flavorful!
Overall, the food didn’t quite justify the price. However, if you’re looking to splurge on “upscale” Filipino dishes, this place could still be worth a try.
SERVICE & AMBIENCE:
I’d return for the service and ambiance rather than the food. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant’s decor was beautiful, with touches that reminded me of the Philippines.“

“Got the crispy pata and lechon kawali, both with java (garlic) rice. Everything was cooked crispy and juicy at the same time, Mang Tomas sauce and spiced vinegar included, and totally worth the price. Loved this place! Would come back again.“

“Tried LA Rose for the first time. Was not disappointed. We will be visiting again to sample other items in their menu and to have Pansit Palabok (not pictured) again.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Pansit Palabok (noodle with shrimp). 5-star for its aunthentic taste for 2 years now in LA and Orange counties. We’ve been searching for this taste. Finally found it in LA Rose!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Daing (milkfish)
⭐️⭐️⭐️Tapa (beef)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Buchon (pork)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Dinuguan (ilocano style pork blood stew)
Parking expectations: This is an old building so no provision for parking. Look for street parking. It’s worth the trouble.

We went back for the 2nd time and ordered Palabok. Theirs is the reigning champion ? in our search for the best Pansit Palabok.“

“1 1/2 minute read:KUBO is under new corporate ownership, we were told yesterday when we went there for TAKE OUT. WE WERE SHOCKED TO LEARN, the Previous owner whom we knew well, had passed away 3 years ago and her restaurant was sold. It use to be called BAHAY KUBO.YESTERDAY was the first time we were back after maybe 4-5 years.Well, the food was good. No complaints. They have many entrees to choose from. Parking is tight, when any is available. Street parking is easy to find. But all in all, the new management is doing a fine job.Thanks.“

“I was having a potluck at work and the suggestion they made for food was a nice Filipino dish/appetizer. Solid spot for Filipino food.
At work they wanted lumpia and this spot was able to do an order of 50 pieces & I called ahead. They were delicious and a big hit at the party.
I’d definitely order here again and try their other menu items.“
“This restaurant is my favored. I eat in plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I go the most. The crew is very chummy and the cooking they place on your table is so flavorful. I never decline to have a nice dinner here. Highly recommended.“

“12.02.23 We were in the area and I googled Filipino food and this one was top three on options to consider. Service was the best - kind, caring, and really nice front counter reps. Plenty of combo options to choose from and pics on the side walls are pretty good help. Not exactly sure how to rate Atmosphere because the restaurant is inside 99 Ranch market. It's pretty clean eating area which is across the order area and past the spacious entrance.“

“The folks who work here are always friendly. They’re always very warm and welcoming. Classic Filipino hospitality!! I’ve always said that Filipino food is best enjoyed out of someone’s home. Preferably, their grandmother’s!! This is as good as you can get without having to get an invitation or crashing your Filipino co-worker’s niece’s birthday Party!! Their kare-kare is on Point Point (see what I did there?! LOL)!! As well as the lechon kawali!! Literally tastes like my Mamang’s!! My one regret is that I don’t eat here often enough!! Highly Recommended!!“

“This Filipino bakery is hands down the best in town! Every item they serve is pure perfection, from their soft and fluffy pandesal to their beautifully crafted ensaymada. But what really steals the show is their *turon* – crispy on the outside, sweet and perfectly caramelized on the inside. It’s no wonder it’s their most famous item!
Not only is the food top-notch, but the service has recently taken a huge step up. There’s a new team member, a kind, humble, and hardworking man who goes above and beyond to make every customer feel welcome. His warm smile and helpful attitude really elevate the entire experience, making you feel like family the moment you step through the door.
This bakery truly has it all – amazing food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're grabbing a quick snack or treating yourself to a full spread of Filipino delights, this place never disappoints. If you haven’t tried their famous *turon* yet, do yourself a favor and stop by – you’ll be hooked from the first bite!
Highly recommended – a gem for anyone craving authentic Filipino flavors!“

“I live in the central valley, but whenever I come down to Anaheim see my.mom and my sister, I stop by here. I love, love, love their karekare, macaroni salad and buko pandan. Those are only the few reasons why I go there instead of the others that are close by the freeway. Don't get me wrong, all the food are delicious and cooked fresh, but what really gets me to come everytime are the people there. They are so friendly and they always smile. They greet you and they even talked to you, nakakawala ng pagod sa mahabang biyahe. Thank you for being so kind to us. May kakwentuhan ka na, busog ka pa.“
