The only sushi spot we go to. Albert is the best.
Food was amazing and genuinely good price surprisingly. Would 100% come back, 6 roll set was fantastic.
Seabutter, in the heart of Glendale lies this sushi restaurant that is a masterpiece. It is right next to Americana, sadly it has horrible parking but near places like Shake Shack, bourbon steak, In-n-Out, Capital One cafe, BJ’s brewhouse, and I’m quite sure a Starbucks as well Joe & The Juice literally next door.

Seabutter Sushi, located in the heart of Glendale right next to Americana, is a sushi gem. Every sushi is fresh and tastes delicious, with a buttery texture and beautifully formed nigiri. The food is the spotlight, considered the best sushi in a lifetime—fresh, delicious, and nice. Highly recommended items include the pressed sushi, spicy tuna and spicy scallop crispy rice, sashimi trio, and salmon nigiri trio. Non-sushi items like Chicken Teriyaki and Garlic Edamame are also available, though the tempura was not great.
The atmosphere feels like a Roman patrician arriving at a villa; it doesn’t look fancy but feels comfy, clean, and has a nice modern look. The service is excellent, very quick, with kind-hearted staff and non-existent wait times. Guests are often given On the house meals. There is a bar area where customers can watch the sushi being made. Takeout is packaged thoughtfully—no leaks, no sogginess, just perfect textures.
The only downside is the parking, which is horrible and garbage due to Americana and other popular places; nearby lots are pay-only. Despite this, Seabutter is a must-go, very underrated and overlooked, and highly recommended for sushi night.
