Seabutter, a sushi restaurant in the heart of Glendale, is a sushi gem. It is right next to Americana and near places like Shake Shack, Bourbon Steak, In-N-Out, and Joe & The Juice. The parking is absolute garbage due to Americano and other popular places, and nearby lots are pay-only.
Every sushi is fresh, delicious, and has that buttery texture. The food here is the spotlight in the show, the best sushi anyone has ever ate. The star of the restaurant is the sushi, and the pressed sushi is highly recommended. The tempura was not great. Non-sushi items like Chicken Teriyaki, Garlic Edamame, and the chicken bowl were okay. The miso soup, spicy tuna and spicy scallop crispy rice, sashimi trio, and salmon nigiri trio are all so delicious. The Sunset Roll has otherworldly citrus.
The service is excellent, very quick, with non-existent wait time. The staff are very kind-hearted. The atmosphere is comfy, clean, and has a nice modern look. There is a bar area where customers can watch them make the sushi. This place is a must-go and is very underrated and overlooked.
