“Best place to go out to eat something quickly! Their food is absolutely amazing, I would definitely recommend the spicy chicken baguette if you prefer spicy foods, or the beef shawarma if you don’t. The service was great as well!! The staff is really kind and regularly cleans the tables too.“
“I've haven't tried a lot of baklava except for the seasonal ones at Costco so I was skeptical on trying other ones. I didn't like the Costco ones. But this place had so many different kinds in different shapes and flavors. I got the bird nest looking one because it looked so unique to me and it was not disappointing. I really like the texture and flavors of it. The shop is a good size and have other desserts other than baklava.“
“The best Lebanese food in the city. Absolutely love coming here. Great atmosphere, great food, and great hookah. Cannot recommend it enough! Whether you are a fan of Lebanese cuisine or simply looking for a culinary adventure, Phoenicia is a must-visit destination in Glendale. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Five stars do not seem enough to express the sheer enjoyment and satisfaction we experienced during our visit. I will undoubtedly return to Phoenicia again and again to savor the delectable flavors of Lebanon right here in Glendale.“
“The place is gorgeous, especially if you love a nice terrace. The food... Is it because it's the only middle Eastern gluten free place, or is it because the ingredients are fresh, or is it because the preparation is perfect, or maybe it's all the small details... I think it's all of the above, one of the best middle Eastern places in LA, and the best gluten free one :) enjoy their manahish!“
“Had a fantastic dining experience at "Bowery Bungalow"! The food was exceptional, with a diverse menu and delicious flavors. The service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance was inviting. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience.“
“I've been to Skaf's a couple of times now. As many reviewers note, the cheese roll is a must get if you love and respect yourself and your happiness. Queso fresco and feta fried in the crispiest wrapper is a match made in heaven.Grape leaves are also a wonderful appetizer, especially if you're like me and could accidentally put away 12 of this if not paying attention.I often find falafel to be disappointing in restaurants and much better homemade, but Skaf's falafel would give even the best homemade falafel a run for its money. The texture is exactly how it should be - crisp, crunchy exterior with a soft (but not gummy) interior. The falafel is also jam packed with flavor and surrounded by insanely well executed tabbouleh (perfectly seasoned), cabbage salad, hummus, and babaganouj. Their wraps are solid as well, but the veggie combo plate is where it's at!Lebanese coffee on the side on a rainy day at Skaf's. Kindest servers as well“
“Hadn't been here for years but always the same great experience. Amazing service from everyone and the food was outstanding. The lule kebab is my favorite followed by the lamb chop.. Everything is fresh and you can tell that there is a lot of Culinary respect in the kitchen.“
“There is not very much seating in the inside and it's a very small space. Luckily it was a nice day outside, so we ate there. The Lulu plate was very good. Great seasoned beef matched perfectly with the rice. The chicken gyro was just okay. I like having tzatziki sauce in the gyro and it was not present. Instead, they make theirs with a sauce similar to mayonnaise, so I don't recommend that unless you prefer a more mayo flavor. Overall, good service and sizeable portions.“
“I had a list of 10 Mediterranean places to go to lunch with my friend in Pasadena and I am glad I narrowed it down to this one. Now, I was a little weary about the food coming out as soon as we were paying BUT the food was pretty amazing. This just tells me that they are super efficient during lunchtime on a Saturday! The food was very flavorable and they have the best garlic spread I have ever eaten in my entire life! We will definitely be back! Not pictured here but don't miss out on the tzatziki either!“
“I'm officially a big fan of Skaf's. The kabobs are amazing. So juicy and flavorful. And the spices give each skewer that comforting, zesty taste that has you deeply savoring each bite. If you've had excellent Lebanese food before, then you know what I'm talking about. I ordered for pickup so didn't eat in. However, I was very impressed with the setup. Very modern and clean, but still homey, intimate, and inviting. The service? Everyone there was incredibly friendly and hospitable. They're clearly people that aim to please! Love it. The only thing that didn't wow me was the rice. The rice was just average. But the fresh crunch of the cabbage salad more than made up for it. If you're near Glendale and craving Middle Eastern / Mediterranean, then this is the spot!“
