“My partner and I love this place. It's one of our favorite places in the neighborhood and we feel incredibly lucky to have this within walking distance to us. Everything is really great -- ambiance is casual, food is so fresh & delicious and the service is really great too. The staff checks in on you quite a lot-- a bit more than I would personally prefer but you can't fault them for being overly attentive. If you like to engage in conversation uninterrupted, perhaps opt for the outdoor seating but other than that everything about this place is perfect.“

“This place is AMAZING! It's one of my favorite restaurants ever. I dream about their veggie platter, they have the best falafel, hummus, taboule salad, and baba ganoush. It's a MUST in the Valley.
Vegetarian options: Amazing vegan and veggie options, I highly recommend getting a veggie platter.“

“I go to a lot of gluten free restaurants, and this one has to be my favorite, hands down.The food is AMAZING! It is the best of both worlds if you want gluten free and Mediterranean. The entire staff are the most lovely people. Hatem is always so friendly and kind and provides top-notch service. We always look forward to eating here. It's a consistent 10/10 every time.“

The kefta was dry but the beef kebab is one of the best I've ever had. Definitely will be back for more.
They give you 2 skewers standard with your order which is a great value. Get another one for 7 bucks.“

“I've eaten here twice now. First time ran in and ordered a Falafel with Hummus and Tabuleh. It was so delcious - some of the best I have ever had. Came back for lunch with mu huband for lunch and he had a Schwarma salad. It was also delicious. The garlic sauce and home made bread served with salad was amazing. Will go back again and even go out of my way to enjoy this specail little spot.“

“I’ve gone to Carousel probably more than any other restaurant in my 6 years in Los Angeles, a testiment to how consistent and delicious the food is. The staff are warm and friendly, accommodating and attentive. The portions here are generous, fresh and delicious - the best of this cuisine that LA has to offer. The atmosphere of the restaurant is traditional and comforting, and the outdoor dining space is comfortable and dog friendly. If you love tasty home cooked Mediterranean food then look no further than Carousel. Of the dozens of times I’ve been here, I’d give it 5 stars each time. A must try!“

“Came for the shisha, was beyond impressed with the food! Every single thing was so flavorful, textures were just right — we almost ordered more food to go! I will say, we sat in a back corner and still found it a bit loud haha, but just the noise of other people enjoying their Friday night out. Will definitely be back!!“

“When we arrived there were no seats available, the entire place was packed with people enjoying their food! You could sense the feeling of warmth from the entire staff which generated and over all feeling of happiness! After about a 10 minute wait we were seated, let's say the show began. We are greeted so warmly and graciously! We are thanked for our patients in waiting, we were served hummus and pita bread while we decided what to order. My wife had the chicken kabob with rice and cabbage salad. I had beef shawarma with rice and a side of Baba Ghannouj. The portions were more than ample and the food was delicious! We both agreed that it would be worth the trip from Thousand Oaks just to eat there. We happened to be in the area for an event, and we are so grateful that we stumbled upon Skaf's! The entire staff was so friendly that we felt like we were family. We will definitely be back God willing!
