“Tony the store manager took great care of me. I came in aggravated because my old machine wasn't working and had been back and forth with Nespresso phone customer service twice. I was ready to retire my use of Nespresso but assuming the new machine works as it should, they've regained a dedicated customer, thanks to Tony.“
“Our new favorite spot in Glendale! We ordered a barrel aged almond milk latte and the bourbon old fashioned which were both phenomenal. The bourbon whiskey notes were amazing. The baristas were also so friendly and welcoming which made it an even better experience.Definitely can't wait to be back!“
“Why go to the large MegaCoffee when there's a local coffee shop literally a block away? The menu is pretty much just espresso-based drinks and tea-- you won't find your mocha-frappa-venti-ccino-extra-syrup coffee flavored milkshakes here. But if your thing in the morning is a strong, expertly prepared coffee and maybe a pastry, skip the line and head over to Reborn.“
“Good coffee and simple interior design. Will be coming back to try signature drinks and pour-overs. The baristas behind the bar were kind and caring. Even chatting with other customers they kept working and I got well-balanced espresso. Will be coming back with friends to try their pour-over and signature drinks menu.P.S. I hope the owner will add his winning USBC signature drink to the menu. So that not only judges but we all can try it:)Kid-friendliness: They have a small area for kids to play“
“Our morning ritual used to involve bludgeoning ourselves into a semblance of consciousness with the heavy-hand of a generic dark roast. It was an effective if inelegant solution to parenthood. Aqaurela's beans provide a different experience. We are by no means coffee experts, but my wife and I were surprised by the nuances in smell and taste when we tried their Deus Me Livre for our morning espresso. It's a lighter feel; almost refreshing. The morning cup feels a bit indulgent, yet not so rich as to make your mouth feel overwhelmed. We could see this pairing very well as an after-dinner treat with any manner of desserts. The best part is that this is simply a fantastic company to work with. Quick, fast delivery. Prompt follow-up to make sure we were completely satisfied. And all questions answered - when we noted that we typically prefer darker roasts, one of the owners explained that their goal was to make a medium-roast whose flavors would still hold up to a coordination with cream and sugar. It's a throwback to days where customer service and the personal touch were still important. This is a small business whose goal of promoting independent farmers is admirable and worthy of our support. Thank you!“
“I recently tried Stereoscope's pour-over coffee, and I must say it was top-notch. Their specialty coffee selection is truly exceptional. One of my favorites is the Guatemala, which offers a delightful blend of flavors including strawberry, grape juice, heavy body, and fudge notes. The brewing process and attention to detail really shine through in every sip. I highly recommend giving Stereoscope's pour-over a try if you're looking for a premium coffee experience.“
“Super cute coffee shop inside office building! My husband and I loved the well-balanced lattes that were recommended to us. Can’t recall his name, but barista from Austin was super attentive, and invited us back. We truly were inspired about coming back with his invitation.“
“East LA has been gradually building up its go to spots for coffee. Don't be fooled into the usual corporate SB -- no. If you need a boost, Mugs delivers. With great customer care, and a varied menu of drinks; how did they get a champurrado latte to work? They did and it's amazing. I always try a latte as a measure of an establishment's ability to prep a clean drink; Mugs has a great machine that delivers the taste and froth. I'm done with the others and filling mine at MUGS :)“
“First time I visited this local area & Verve Coffee in LA. Foods was good & Coffee was great. My favorite Coffee is Verve from Santa Cruz. Here I was thoroughly impressed . Products & collectibles available. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly.Overall, a must-visit here.I have now visited all 4 branchs in the US -- Successful Missio! 5/5 Stars ?“
“Canyon Coffee literally shook my world. My brother and I were visiting from Florida, doing what we always do - in search of the BEST coffee shop experiences imagineable. Canyon blew our expectations out of the water. We were greeted by the coolest cat, Carlos, with a bold, yet incredibly friendly stature. He knew the menu like the back of his hand. I landed on the eloquent “Hot Japanese Brown Sugar Latte”. LIKE WHAT!! Craft of the craft, one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. Yes, “my bro and I are twins”, I told him. Little did I know we were about to be served a delectable slice of perfectly baked Banana Sesame bread made by a local queen. Impressively moist. Yep, I said it. From the time we walked in, we felt like we were home. A pleasant experience all the way around.Dialed in coffee. Amazing service. Great chats. Insanely styled atmosphere. Food was unreal. Phenomenal experience. We will be back for more… one day. Bring this to Florida asap please.“
“ISRAEL was so kind, welcoming - warm and professional. I had come in once before and a young guy - NOT ISRAEL had such a poor attitude, was rude and incredibly indifferent. I was hesitant to come back in. But Israel made it worth it. The coffee is really good. And the place is quiet and quaint.“
“went in there to get an americano, didn’t want it hot or iced cus it’s low key chilly this morning. so i asked for an americano that’s not hot but also not iced. the cashier didn’t get it i thought maybe my voice was too low or she didn’t understand it because that was too vague. so i rephrased, i said could i get a room temperatured americano. when i was paying, she went to the barista said something and they started laughing. loving it! always want to see people having fun while murmuring in the back. i didn’t leave any tip cus i already felt uncomfortable atm, im really sorry i didn’t i feel like i should have leave tip no matter how uncomfortable i felt cus i do need to respect their hard work. when i finally got the americano the barista went like “let me know if this is a ‘good temperature’ for you” again, they are so caring, he even had a smirk when he was asking me. i said oh im sure it’s fine i just didn’t want it too hot or iced. im really sorry i didn’t know the perfect word for coffee that’s not iced or hot. English is my third language im still learning it everyday. will definitely come back when i have perfect english maybe even a slight hint of british accent. maybe i would feel more comfortable then. again im so sorry for feeling uncomfortable and being sensitive when they laugh after i ordered or about that smirk. the vibe there is really cool tho, the branding is on point. i’m sorry i wasn’t cool enough for you? hope the cashier queen and barista king is having a great day “
“I enjoyed my coffee here. I got a basic latte and it was as expected but was good. It was busy but I found some seating in the bench by the wall. The sunlight when it hits make the space really nice but sometimes was a bit hard to see. There was a decent amount of seating though and the space was quiet and nice for getting work done.“
“Very friendly staff but understaffed. So we had to keep asking/reminding them for orders not brought out. The code was also cold which is a bummer because otherwise it would have been really good. The food was good but my male coworkers complained the portions were too small.“
“I asked, "how did you end up choosing coffee as your passion?" And he replied, "I wouldn't call it a passion, it's more of an obsession." I told him it's the best coffee drink I've ever had, and he said that "it's not perfect yet, I'm still chasing the perfection." Can't wait to keep coming back to be able to drink his "perfect" drink.“
“Delicious Quesa Tacos! Must try if you're in the area or craving savory food. I had the steak and Al pastor. Their tacos alike their burritos are served with pickled onions, lime and chilitos. I can't wait to try the birria next time you won't regret it.“
“Coffee + bagels = Best coffee shop ever!It was a great experience. They make their begs in house. The coffee was fantastic! 1802 had enough room for sitting and outlets. Great place to work, study, and chill. For the all the Filipinos out there! 1802 is also Filipino own. Support your local bayan.“
“Absolutely love Jones! Great coffee and food, friendly staff, and best of all it's an actual community hub. They have live music almost every day and works by local artists up on the walls. There are regulars who come for the shows and end up becoming friends. How many places like this exist anymore?? The only downside is that parking is very limited. But it's worth it. Highly recommend the lavender latte, honey bran muffin, and a bag of Bourbon Rojo beans to take home.“
“Came by on my way to fidm and it was so tiny. The person taking my order was so fast and he turned away and then handed a drink. He didnt ask for a name so i was confused if it was mine or not but in conclusion it was LOL i got a chai latte and it was average. I dont think ill be back again“
“I love this coffee shop. Their iced vanilla latte is amazing. I would highly recommend it. Also the service is very good. She greets you every time you go in and knows you by name. She already knows my order when she sees me coming in the shop "the usual" (shows you how often I go haha) overall very cute coffee shop with great service and amazing coffee. Highly recommend it.“
“My friend parked near the park entrance and then we walked to the shop. The draft oat milk latte was the stuff of vegan dreams (been vegan since 2011, who would’ve thought this would be life in 2024!). I will be back every time I’m in LA.“
“Excellent coffee with a lovely, quiet patio filled with beautiful succulents. There are great options for coffee nerds who want to taste single origin pourovers. Our hotel was about a 12 minute walk to Alana's. Had I not convinced my husband to try some new places, he would have gone here every day.“
“The superfood coffee from here is next level, had me feeling like Bradley Cooper in Limitless lol.. I’d probably get it everyday but in the name of fiscal responsibility I also got some coffee beans to make a slightly less potent but still tasty cup at home ?“
“The store has been around for 30 years. They roast their own coffees and they have many great selection, including the un-roasted ones. I bought Indigo after reading a review, and it is a strong aromatic coffee for espresso. I really like it. And so does my partner. They also host an baristas class sometimes (check their web) which I someday should attend :) Tips: bring cash for a discount. They give you 1 to 5 bucks (depending on size) discounted price for customers paying with cash“
“One of the best coffee shops in LA. Cafecito cubano con leche is one of the best I’ve tried so far. It’s strong as well as smooth at the same time. And tres leches muffin was just delicious. Highly recommend coffee aficionados to check out and try this “
“Everything about this place is great - I walk here from my apartment at least 3-4 times a week to start my day. All of the staff members are wonderful and the coffee is always *chefs kiss*.I feel like the only thing missing is a “sit down” atmosphere. I would love to be able to come sit inside and work for a couple of hours to start the day. Couple hours of work, couple coffee and a baked good… then I’d come everyday, no questions asked. But regardless - one of my favorite places in town!“
“Absolutely delicious mocha with lovely 'latte art' (but I missed a pic)! It wasn't too sweet even though I didn't say "half sweet" like I have to elsewhere. My spouse's cortado was delicious. Our pup even got a little cup of frothed milk & lapped it all up. We got the Rico burrito & it came with yummy molcajete salsa and creamy verde sauce. The barista - from Sydney - was friendly & the server was very efficient. We'll definitely stop in again next time we're in the area.“
“Absolutely delicious coffee roasted right down the street and wonderful food made on site each morning. It smells wonderful before even walking in. I got the mushroom sandwich and it was such a great touch to have the arugula dressed with a vinaigrette... I'll be trying this upgrade when I make a sandwich next time! I also got their in house dirty chai which was fantastic and a cold brew. 10's across the board. Super kind people, and comfortable environment with cute bistro tables outside too! Dog bowl for water outside as well :)“
“Yes! This is a creamy velvety gourmet Turkish coffee. It’s delicately set on a plate with a small glass of water to balance the intense rich flavor. I must admit I’m a bit of a coffee snob. This definitely met my standards. ☕️ #coffee #turkishcoffeetime #Expresso #coffeelover #coffeeshop“
“This place is INCREDIBLE. I got a hot chocolate because I typically don’t like coffee, but their mocha has NO bitterness to it, so I ended up with two drinks. The staff is so friendly and the place itself is so cute to sit and hang out in.“
“Came at 8 when they opened before stopping by the flower market. There wasn't anyone here and I possibly though they are running late or wrong hours ? I waited about 10 mins to walk around in hopes someone came and right as I was ready to leave someone came to open, thankfully. I order a chia which was good, the barista was sweet to let me try the concentrate. Their concentration is good not too spicy and has a licorice touch but when it was made into a latte it lost that good flavor. Next time I'd ask for a little more chai but that is my preference I orders an shot of espresso on the side to taste the body and flavor without the mix of the latte.good pulled shot As much as I wanted to only give 4 stars because they didn't open on time, I would be doing wrong because there is not context, maybe an emergency or some business issue who knows but life does happen. I will say when the barista come, she came in quick and got down to it. The area needs a place to just drink coffee and I'm glad they are here investing“
“Here just a few days ago. Love their coffee and the pastries that they have available. They hae indoor and outdoor seating. Great service from the staff!Parking: They have a little lot on the side where you can park or you can find street parking, just mind the signs!!!“
“Jones Coffee Roasters (est 1993) is a family run coffee company in South Pasadena. This coffee shop is a two story building with brick exposed interior/exterior walls. Their atmosphere has a cool vibe, staff were competent and professional and drinks are reasonably priced. They have a compendious selection of coffee from blends to seasonal to decafs. Similarly, they have teas, mugs, and merch for sale. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seats.I have known this cafe for years but never really had the chance until now. I ordered a Cafe Au Lait (M) x whole milk. It was brewed great! Overall, I enjoyed my coffee and service. I’d definitely come back. I highly recommend them.“
“A good morning starts with a cup of black coffee! I like watching the mountains and enjoying a good cup of coffee best.Great store! This is the best morning coffee experience since I came to the United States. There is a quiet atmosphere and elements of a big city. I like the feeling of international integration, just like here!?“
“I was not expecting this to be a full menu cafe but it is. Gorgeous location with more than enough seating and atmosphere and so much more than simply coffee! I stopped in for breakfast. Great coffee & pastries! I shall return for lunch soon!“
“Not sure if the name came from what I'm about to say, but this cute spot has a compellingly good iced coffee. Sometimes you find a good cold ice coffee and after a few sips it hits you "Wow, this is fantastically good coffee!" I had one of those moments today after ordering. From what I saw it's street parking only. However, I was able to park on the street for free before 11am on Sunday! Score!“
“I didn't know La Colombe had a coffee shop until today while I was in the area for business and spotted the sign. The building is so beautiful with brick walls and greenery, the outdoor seating area is very cute, there is some indoor seating as well. The wood tables and chairs add a lot of character to the place. Their cold brew was delicious without any aftertaste or high acidity. They have variety of drinks including specials. They also sell canned coffee in case you want some to go. I also noticed they had a few croissants left and some cookies so I'm assuming they sell freshly baked goods as well. Customer service was ok. Overall I liked the vibes of this place and will add it to my favorites.“
“Photographer #MarkusCuff and I bumped in, and they happened to be serving a seriously home made Mexican plate. He loved it, if we #bumpedinto something like this… you know, #ITH in the hood… Aww dear @Markus Cuff, rest in beauty… Never thought I’d be singing to you, #reallysinging… “let your soul & spirit fly into the mystic.” Wow.“
“As a long-time admirer of Café Kitsuné from afar, I was over the moon to discover that this Parisian gem had found a new home in Los Angeles. Café Kitsuné effortlessly brings a touch of Parisian elegance to the West Coast/ From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by an ambiance that perfectly captured the essence of Café Kitsuné's charm. The sleek and modern design, coupled with warm hues and subtle French accents, created a welcoming space that felt like a stylish escape from the hustle and bustle of LA. The Yuzu iced tea was my favorite thing I tried. Can't wait to return back.“
“I absolutely love the cozy ambiance of this coffee shop! The aroma of freshly ground coffee beans fills the air, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The baristas here are not only skilled at crafting the perfect cup of coffee but also friendly and attentive. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just looking for a quiet spot to work, this place has got you covered. The diverse menu offers a range of coffee options, from classic brews to creative and delicious specialty drinks. The comfortable seating and soothing background music make it a great place to unwind or catch up with friends. Overall, a fantastic spot to savor the simple pleasures of a well-brewed cup of coffee.“
