“I was craving tteokbokki and seen this place on yelp so I decided to give it a try and I'm happy I did. So you do have to pay for parking but if you are there for less than 30 minutes it's free. Anything over 30 min will be a $1 every 30 which isn't bad. When you walk in the register is on your left with all the menu items and options they have. They also have a dine in option as well which I would like to try they were playing music the place was big and clean you can see everything so the setting was pretty cool nice ambiance more likely packed @ night. I ordered my food it was ready in about 15 mins and I absolutely loved it my fav part was the sausage and the broth was nice and thick and was kinda spicy but nothing I can't handle will be retuning again to try the corn dogs.“
“Didn't expect to be good and fresh. Always wanted to know if this is another good Korean restaurant like Buela and Gamtubop in Glendale while waiting for this store to be opened again.Overall, the food was fresh and tasted good. I ordered banban hot dog and Korean fermented soybean stew. Will reorder to try other menus! It's been closed for a while so every time I stopped by in person, wasn't open to the public. Hope this management keeps the business hours this time!“
“No frills, just your classic plain corn dog. Always the beef corn dog. It's such a quintessential, LA staple from Santa Monica beach since the 1940s. HDOS holds a special place in our hearts since we had them cater our late night snack for our wedding! (Shout out to the Kardashians for keeping them alive and well at their catering parties hahahah; Kourtney tends to hire them more lol) They also have their food truck(s) serving around the greater LA. Love you HDOS. A staple in so many mall food courts from the past to the present. Appreciate you for holding on!!! (their Puente Hills food court location just closed recently....sadness!)“
“The two clerks who were working went above and beyond to help me. We couldn’t eat inside as my friend was leaving the hospital from a procedure. I asked the clerk if they could give me an extra bag and to please cut the sandwiches as we had to eat in the car. They were thoughtful and helpful. I really appreciated their kindness after a long 12 hours at the hospital.“
“First time here, but I'm definitely coming back.i got the jumbo beef dog with Pastrami. It's very tasty. Great service! Everyone was great!!. One of the owners is pictured. He threw in a small cup of chili, which was really good. By recommendation, I mixed the punch with the lemonade. Definitely recommend doing that! The outsider seating was nice. Even though Crenshaw is a main drag. The seating is set away from the street. If you haven't been you need to go.“
“Been going here since the 90sKnows My BD and my daughter. When the Owner is there he knows their orders. And still taste Delicious My Favorite Pastrami Burrito With Everything and I tried the tacos Sooooooo Good Also they have Flavored Pickles but the flavor I wanted was out. Overall ❤️❤️❤️???“
“I can't say enough good things about Jeff's gourmet. The food is fresh, well prepared, tasty, generous portions, reasonably priced for L.A. - Fast deliveries and always care to include napkins and forks. Really a wonderful restaurant. Thank you“
“Love this local sandwich shop with a bit of history, amazing staff, and delicious food! Not typically a sandwich person, but this place is definitely working on changing my mind! The tri-tip sandwich, available on Thursday and Friday only, is amazing, nice smoky flavor and melted cheese, works just so well. The Hey Joe sandwich is great any other day of the week if you're a meat lover - pastrami, roast beef, and a hot link! Give them a go and support, my favorite type of restaurant to support, cheers!“
“I missed this place so much! I haven't been here since pre-covid. A wonderful friend turned me on to this place! I appreciate the free parking in the back. I usually come here too in the past, and now when I bring riders down here to Hollywood Sunset Strip. I love this cool train car turned into a great burger and hot dog restaurant. It is really clean inside and outside. The guy at the cashier is really nice, helped me out super well with my order. The cook, who you can see right in front, works really hard!!! Give these guys a raise. Ok... to the good stuff now...the Food! My order was simple, and usually, the same. Tonight, I got a chili burger, chili hot dog, no onions, as I am allergic to them. I also got a Super Large drink. Everything was so yummy! They have the best chili!!! Everything cooked to perfect temperature! I stayed here a bit as it was a Tuesday night, waiting for my riders. What an awesome night. It was a Carney's night!!! Highly recommend you check them out!!!“
“Beast Hot Dog deal in town. Parking is ample because it shares the Home Depot parking lot. If you shop at Home Depot, stop here for a dollar on the way is the best deal in town. They have their own tent in the parking lot.Hotdogs are hot, chips and sodas bailable. Services quick friendly, and pleasant. Definitely the place to come if you're shopping at Home Depot and get a quick bite. Will recommended, we will return.“
