“This predominantly vegan restaurant serves a good variety of delicious, fresh and healthy fare. I recommend the lentil loaf, colossal kale salad, flautas, and the orange cauliflower lo mein among others, and I hear the breakfast items (served all day) are excellent. Arlene is a fantastic server. In addition to the mostly vegan items, the eclectic menu also recently added some vegetarian but non-vegan entrees and even fish. This has drawn some unfair criticism. Please keep in mind that times are very difficult now for restaurants, and at least doubly so for vegetarian and vegan restaurants. If the inclusion of a few non-vegan items helps keep this gem of an eatery with a predominantly vegan/vegetarian menu afloat, then all the better for all of us.“

“Pleasantly surprised with everything about Veggietize me. Just a small unpretentious place with good people and great all Vegan food. We felt very welcome there. Nothing fancy, just a few tables and a counter you order at. The menu is extensive. I had the western burger with the impossible patty. This patty was cooked perfectly and had to be one of the best vegan burgers I've had. My huspand had the breakfast burrito which he enjoyed. Next came dessert. Oreo shake..of course. delicious. I had a Horchata which was perfect as well. We love this place and can't wait to come back to try more.“

The toppings were delicious! Not only was the food amazing but the ambience of his stand gave it some spooky vibes which I absolutely love !!! The crazy part is, I’m not even vegan, and I would choose these forever snd ever. My friends were also very pleased with their dogs as well. They even bought some to go for later ! I ate my last flapjack warmed with nothing on it the next day; they’re that good! In fact, their pancake recipe is something I legitimately wish I had to emulate at home. Her fingers moved like liquid gold on the keyboard and her compositions were witty and mesmerizing. The word that kept coming to mind as they performed was "subtle." Hubby had the lime and chili ramen and really enjoyed it. It was very flavorful. I had the yakisoba noodles with pork. The pork was lovely and well cooked. Very tender! But, for me, the sauce on the noodles was really heavy on vinegar. I was expecting/wanting a more savory/umami flavor. They were way too sour for my taste. I’m certain that there would have been a lot of other menu items I would have enjoyed! I wish I’d tried their miso ramen instead of the yakisoba.“

“The sushi fish was fresh, and the sushi rice was delicious! As someone who frequents sushi bars in LA for some nigiri and hot tea, Chiba has the best ambiance and best tasting nigiri sushi.

My favorite was the mackerel, yellowtail, and unagi.

I've also ordered donburi here, and it comes very close to the donburi I had in Japan.

Been coming to Chiba for years now. Hands down it's my favorite sushi spot for nigiri in LA.
