“My wife stopped by this Jack in the Box to pick us up some food. When she came, she used the drive thru since there wasn't any cars. She got herself the jack spicy chicken and the jalapenos poppers. She got me the jack spicy chicken with cheese and fries.

The Jack spicy chicken burger was delicious. The fries were good too. I enjoyed my food from here today. They don't have a big parking lot in this location.“

“First off, Terrific Customer Service at the Long Beach, CA location! The manager is amazing. So helpful with recommendations when asked, provides great detail, and is so enthusiastic about the incredible menu. Tocaya at 2nd & PCH has lovely, fresh, bright, clean food. The menu is unique and flexible. You get to choose the protein you want, the cheese you want, whether or not you want your dish to be vegan. So many options and super tasty food! My friend really enjoyed the VEGAN Asada & VEGAN Tinga tacos. I loved my Taco Salad with gluten-free, battered & fried mahi-mahi (that was so, so scrumptious) with Queso Fresco. I swapped and got the cilantro lime dressing (instead of the roasted poblano dressing) and my bowl of goodies was delicious. We shared and relished the Street Corn and the (VEGAN) Queso & Chips. We were both shocked to find the Queso was VEGAN; it’s that good! We also tried the vegan Crema, just to check it out — SO yummy. AND the obviously homemade chips were mouthwatering. Tocaya has seasonal Sangria selections, beer, and other interesting drink options. They’ve got indoor and outdoor seating… and I recommend you head over soon!“

the food is quality! the ribeye melts in your mouth, the pork belly is beautifully done and I love the suadero. make sure you get one of the agua frescas as well, the watermelon and jamaica are my favorite. i’ve had almost everything on the menu now and there isn’t a wrong choice. listen to your stomach you won’t be let down!“

“10 out of 10. Lovely people and great food. I come here multiple times a week and have been coming here for about 5 years. I love getting their nachos and they are always down to give it to me with the chips separate than the rest of it so I don't have to eat all of it immediately and have it be soggy.

I recommend the fish tacos the most! They're surprisingly filling and two usually does the trick and then I have leftovers for the next day. The strawberry lemonade agua fresca is also excellent I tried it for the first time a couple days ago.

They take venmo but they also take card now on a little square reader and of course cash. They are fast and friendly and have good condiments and salsas available.

I used to drive a mile from Burbank around once a month but now I live like three blocks away and I come way too often. Super affordable high quality as well and I'm trying meats I've never tried before“

“Not even gonna lie. Some of the best tacos I've had here. The chicken wasn't pretty but it was dang sure good. It was for sure up to par with the pork. The pork was that crispy cook too, but they could cook it how u like. Where im for sure sold is that the tacos are cheap. I've noticed the price rise over the years. Another plus goes to the location. I believe if they aren't there, or right next to them this dude makes these mash potato meat and veggie bowls in the potato. “I just had lunch with my two daughters, ages 12 and 15. It was our first time here.

We ordered three plates: two 3-birria taco combo plates and one order of vampire tacos with chorizo. We tried all the sauces that came with them, along with a 24-ounce horchata.

My girls and I are usually pretty loud. We talk. We’re animated. We gush over the food.

But when we ate these tacos, we ate in silence because the food was that good. To speak would have taken us out of the moment. So we said nothing. We just sat there, lost in our own thoughts, luxuriating in tender meats, spicy red sauce, and complex flavors.

This is how you get tweens to enjoy family time: really good tacos.

“Take your time gathering any of the many sauces and things. It went take long for your order to be ready, just pause and collect then return to grab all the sauces but yet bagged. Limes, cilantro&onions, salsa fresco, salsa Verde, salsa roja x2, radishes, grilled pepper and onions, crema, and more. All the things to make the meal your own.
A note about the carne asada fries (or any meat fry), is the use of a cheese sauce instead of fresh shredded cheese which some may like but not I. I'm guessing you can substitute the cheese for the desired experience.
This taco truck is worth a retry. The crowd certainly approves and has the right frame if reference to judge a taco truck. Rarely have I seen a throng of people eating at tables beside such food trucks let alone the steady stream of customers. Festive and lively, those customers add to the positive vibes of this sidewalk eatery. Just be sure you're at the right taco truck!“

“Solid street style tacos which were delicious. Lots of meat options, we tried the chicken, al pastor and carne asada tacos. They have all toppings available separately including 3 different salsas. Service was quick, they accept cash, Venmo and Zelle! 3 tacos was perfect for me, they are on the small size but fairly packed with meat.“

“I tried the shrimp and fish tacos. They were decent, but honestly overpriced for what they are. The staff was friendly, the food came out quickly, and the patio is a nice place to sit. However, inside the restaurant it was hard to breathe because of the strong smell of fried oil, like the ventilation was not working well.

Parking can also be difficult, although there are paid parking options nearby. The tacos were okay, but the fish was too soft and covered in batter, so I couldn’t really taste the fish itself. The vegetables were fresh and nicely cut, and the sauces were good, but there were no extra toppings or salsa station like in many other Mexican taco spots.

Overall, it’s not a bad place, but for the price, I personally would not come back for these tacos.“

“I was just passing through LA to switch Amtrak routes and was delighted to find Juanitas Cafe on Olvera Street. A simple but delicious place to get a hearty torta de choriza with champurrado. So convenient to Union Station but not a bland chain eatery. The owner prepares the food as his grandmother, Juanita, did.“
