Sadly that also meant be prepared to wait in long line especially on peak dinner time, which was right at their opening time. We did come on Saturday which probably made it worse.

Nothing fancy, it’s basically occupying a spot on the Pavilion’s parking lot at Hollywood. Quite limited chairs provided so it’s not uncommon seeing people eating while standing or using their car’s trunk.

We got their crowd’s favorite Ribeye and Flank Steak, both of which were indeed so so good in their own ways. Chunky juicy meats on top of the blue corn tortilla. Everything’s cooked fresh to order and they didn’t go complicated with sauce on top of your taco, which even made the meat more stand out, being so flavorful on its own.

If you felt like us and wanna try something beyond beef, certainly go for their Al Pastor, which was also luscious and I’d definitely come back again for.

Don’t forget opt for extra melted cheese on your taco!“

“First off, Terrific Customer Service at the Long Beach, CA location! The manager is amazing. So helpful with recommendations when asked, provides great detail, and is so enthusiastic about the incredible menu. Tocaya at 2nd & PCH has lovely, fresh, bright, clean food. The menu is unique and flexible. You get to choose the protein you want, the cheese you want, whether or not you want your dish to be vegan. So many options and super tasty food! My friend really enjoyed the VEGAN Asada & VEGAN Tinga tacos. I loved my Taco Salad with gluten-free, battered & fried mahi-mahi (that was so, so scrumptious) with Queso Fresco. I swapped and got the cilantro lime dressing (instead of the roasted poblano dressing) and my bowl of goodies was delicious. We shared and relished the Street Corn and the (VEGAN) Queso & Chips. We were both shocked to find the Queso was VEGAN; it’s that good! We also tried the vegan Crema, just to check it out — SO yummy. AND the obviously homemade chips were mouthwatering. Tocaya has seasonal Sangria selections, beer, and other interesting drink options. They’ve got indoor and outdoor seating… and I recommend you head over soon!“

“Papas with Spinach is still the best breakfast burrito anywhere with amazing hot sauce. Been coming here since the late 90s and it’s the same, except more consistent hours now. It used to be they were open whenever they felt like working, which made you want it more🤣 Yeah, the staff is still grumpy and cold, but you get an amazing breakfast burrito.“

Can’t go wrong with anything you order honestly. Ask for the carrots they’re delicious. They do the work with quality and good stuff cause I usually get a tummy ache from Mexican food but from here I don’t. Totally worth coming here for tacos.

They only offer outdoor seating so make sure to go at a cool time. Staff is great and they’re quick even when they’re busy.“

“10 out of 10. Lovely people and great food. I come here multiple times a week and have been coming here for about 5 years. I love getting their nachos and they are always down to give it to me with the chips separate than the rest of it so I don't have to eat all of it immediately and have it be soggy.

I recommend the fish tacos the most! They're surprisingly filling and two usually does the trick and then I have leftovers for the next day. The strawberry lemonade agua fresca is also excellent I tried it for the first time a couple days ago.

They take venmo but they also take card now on a little square reader and of course cash. They are fast and friendly and have good condiments and salsas available.

I used to drive a mile from Burbank around once a month but now I live like three blocks away and I come way too often. Super affordable high quality as well and I'm trying meats I've never tried before“

“Take your time gathering any of the many sauces and things. It went take long for your order to be ready, just pause and collect then return to grab all the sauces but yet bagged. Limes, cilantro&onions, salsa fresco, salsa Verde, salsa roja x2, radishes, grilled pepper and onions, crema, and more. All the things to make the meal your own.
A note about the carne asada fries (or any meat fry), is the use of a cheese sauce instead of fresh shredded cheese which some may like but not I. I'm guessing you can substitute the cheese for the desired experience.
This taco truck is worth a retry. The crowd certainly approves and has the right frame if reference to judge a taco truck. Rarely have I seen a throng of people eating at tables beside such food trucks let alone the steady stream of customers. Festive and lively, those customers add to the positive vibes of this sidewalk eatery. Just be sure you're at the right taco truck!“

“I drive by this spot all the time and finally stopped to give it a try. I got the Al Pastor burrito and was sooo happy with my choice. You see them cooking it right in front of you, all fresh. The tortillas are handmade as well and you can absolutely tell the difference. Love the salsas as well. It’s quick, reasonably priced, and everyone is kind. “I just had lunch with my two daughters, ages 12 and 15. It was our first time here.

We ordered three plates: two 3-birria taco combo plates and one order of vampire tacos with chorizo. We tried all the sauces that came with them, along with a 24-ounce horchata.

My girls and I are usually pretty loud. We talk. We’re animated. We gush over the food.

But when we ate these tacos, we ate in silence because the food was that good. To speak would have taken us out of the moment. So we said nothing. We just sat there, lost in our own thoughts, luxuriating in tender meats, spicy red sauce, and complex flavors.

“Not even gonna lie. Some of the best tacos I've had here. The chicken wasn't pretty but it was dang sure good. It was for sure up to par with the pork. The pork was that crispy cook too, but they could cook it how u like. Where im for sure sold is that the tacos are cheap. I've noticed the price rise over the years. Another plus goes to the location. I believe if they aren't there, or right next to them this dude makes these mash potato meat and veggie bowls in the potato. Im telling you, you really have to check out the food on the street. Both the tacos and the potatoes. Last thing, they weren't those little tacos either. Nah, these tacos got gains. “Everything I ordered at Guac Daddy was so fresh and delicious! The Deluxe Box is perfect when you want a little bit of everything. It comes with two tacos, a quesadilla, a vampiro, a mulita, plus totopos and guac. I also had the hibiscus rose drink and finished with the churros, which were the perfect sweet ending. “Solid street style tacos which were delicious. Lots of meat options, we tried the chicken, al pastor and carne asada tacos. They have all toppings available separately including 3 different salsas. Service was quick, they accept cash, Venmo and Zelle! 3 tacos was perfect for me, they are on the small size but fairly packed with meat.“

“I’ve been coming here for years, and I stopped by again recently. Honestly, it’s just as good as I remember from a couple years ago. The burritos are still packed with flavor, the ingredients taste fresh, and the portions are solid. It’s nice to see that the quality hasn’t changed at all. The service was friendly too, and everyone was quick and welcoming. Definitely one of those places that’s stayed consistent over the years, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.“

“I tried the shrimp and fish tacos. They were decent, but honestly overpriced for what they are. The staff was friendly, the food came out quickly, and the patio is a nice place to sit. However, inside the restaurant it was hard to breathe because of the strong smell of fried oil, like the ventilation was not working well.

Parking can also be difficult, although there are paid parking options nearby. The tacos were okay, but the fish was too soft and covered in batter, so I couldn’t really taste the fish itself. The vegetables were fresh and nicely cut, and the sauces were good, but there were no extra toppings or salsa station like in many other Mexican taco spots.

Overall, it’s not a bad place, but for the price, I personally would not come back for these tacos.“

“If you want a quick, cheap, no grills and delicious, street style taco fix on this side of the border in NoHo, Sandy's is your place. Buche, cabeza, tripas, al pastor, you name it, they probably have it. I usually get those three and it sets me back $15 for 7 tacos. They are not that big so depending on your appetite, you might need more. I usually eat that in 2 servings. Oh btw, "cash" only!“

Walk up order on an iPad that’s playing music (+vibes), ordering was easy to edit my preferences and tap to pay, they have a menu with PICTURES of all their food (I wish every restaurant and food truck would do this it’s very helpful) and they call out ur name when it’s ready.
