“Everyday my bf buys something from here and I've never had anything to complain about except that the jalapenos in the breakfast sandwiches are spicy, but that's not really a bad thing. Their donuts are fresh and the breakfast sandwiches are 🔥 fire! Plus they have 3 CA lottery vending machines and more scratchers at the register. They have been open for business forever for a reason.“

“THEE best donuts, not greasy or oily, fluffy, not too sweet, airy. i've been coming here for over 15 years and they have been consistent every time. If I bring anyone a donut from here they ask where they're from! Sweetest couple runs it, very mom and pop classic donut shop. Make the drive if you're not close by, it's so worth it. I almost don't even want to mention their carrot cake because it's the absolute best and it already sells out but get it if you can! Very LAUSD coffee cake adjacent, soooo delicious.“

A request I have for this place is to please place bilingual signage in front of each food item for easy identification and ordering. Although, they do have a menu on the wall, it's difficult to read for some. Other than that, food is fresh, hot, and delicious!“

“I stopped by this donut shop in the morning after I came back from putting gas. I drive by this donut place so many times because I live int he area but never took the opportunity to visit them until today. I came in the early morning so I was the only car in the plaza. If you come later in the day then it will be tough to find a spot because it's a very small lot with limited parking.

When I walked inside the place, a lady working greeted me and started asking if I wanted something to drink or am I going to order food. I told her I was looking at what donut they had. I went with the glazed donut, chocolate glazed donut and twisted donut. After I ordered the donuts, I saw that they had bagels which is what I wanted in the first place. It was on top of the counter so I ordered the jalapeno cheese bagel for my wife, asked for it to be toasted and the cream cheese on the side. I wanted a blueberry bagel but she told me they don't have that.

If you're planning on paying by card then there will be an additional cost. It's not that much but something to be aware of. They had a decent amount of options for drinks with boba and also food. I stuck with the donut and bagel, I thought the donut were good and my wife enjoyed her bagel, just remember to eat it when it's still hot.“

Bought 2 dozen assortments of donuts and as they were loading up my boxes many customers were receiving their sandwich orders! Not sure what the other reviews meant by no food but they definitely have food and happily feed their customers!

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

Green toast recommendation by Marina was a good option with flavorful Avacado on top did the magic. Couldn't resist shrimp toast and Classic oval tray from the menu. “My absolute new favorite restaurant! We were visiting family in LA from Chicago and they took us here, I ended up going three times in my one week visit. Cheese stuffed zaatar and the sojouk kachopuri were my favorite and the garlic chicken wrap was my husbands. “Talk about a whole in the wall. Bakery is kinda hidden, you'll miss it if you don't pay attention. They have a bolillo sandwich called guateque. Bolillo with beans, queso fresco, asada, jalapeños & salsa on the side. It is delicious anytime of day. Their pan dulce is also good. They have mini & regular size pan dulce & bolillo. I do have to mention that the place is really small, so is their parking. I suggest you call your order in for the guateques since they are always busy. I know you will love the guateque de asada! I haven't tried the guateque de huevo con chorizo yet. That'll be the next one I try. Enjoy!“
