Flaming Wok Chinese Food is a to go joint and a solid choice for Chinese food. It is a busy place because the price is great for Los Angeles. The restaurant is a little hole in the wall with a line that is long all the time, but worth the wait. Large portions of rice and chow mein are served, and they stuff the plate to the limit. Orange chicken and teriyaki chicken are favorites, and the orange chicken and chow mein are super delicious. The spicy chicken wings are also very good. However, the service is terrible. The owner is spiteful, and customers are treated poorly 30 minutes before closing. The older Chinese lady is rude and will ignore customers. The food is not consistent, sometimes it is not good. There are no tables for dining in, as that service was stopped during Covid. The ambience is mediocre at best.
