Great food and service, (I've been given some free drinks sometimes). Just gets little packed off Van Nuys and Woodman.
This place literally has the best loaded fries I’ve ever had in my life and cannot recommend enough. I keep coming back for more! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful! Their taco Tuesday deal is definitely worth it!!!!

Tacos El Jalisciense, located on 9750 Woodman Ave, is a taco stand known for serving tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and their standout birria late into the night. The food is extremely delicious and made fresh and fast. The loaded fries are the best, though one time the guacamole was bitter and the cilantro wasn’t fresh, but after asking for a remake, the staff happily and politely agreed, and the food was much better with perfect guacamole and fresh meat and cilantro. The carne asada was juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly, but the al pastor was the best pastor ever, perfectly marinated, slightly sweet, savory, and cooked to perfection with a beautiful char. The birria tacos with the consommé were packed with tender, flavorful meat, and dipping them made every bite better. The asada, buche and cabeza tacos, and milanesa torta are also favorites, and the asada nachos are fire. The service is excellent and extremely friendly, with staff who are kind, helpful, and clearly proud of what they are serving. Even with a rush, orders are pushed out quickly without sacrificing quality. The taco Tuesday deal is definitely worth it, and the spot is worth coming back to again and again.
