“OK, maybe a 4.5 star. I have been going here for decades. The menu is diverse offering seafood, like most don't. This isn't the bad cooking smothered in mole sauce and delivered to your table like others. I think the current star rating is not a good as they really are. Strangely, my favorite is the BLTA sandwich on toasted wheat. This thing is LOADED with bacon, and the A is for ?. Finishing touch is a panini press. Served with chips, just know the salsa that comes on the side is a small lake of ?, and some dishes come with fresh jalapeno instead of the milder pickled jalapenos. Ask and they will accommodate you.Vegetarian options: I suggest the veggies burrito. “Food was delicious. Had the fish burrito & a blackened shrimp taco. The fish burrito was solid but the blackened shrimp taco was definitely the highlight of my meal. The way it was prepared and seasoned was phenomenal and I’d definitely recommend to give this place a shot if you’re in Calabasas. The prices are fair given the area. They also were open on Christmas Day which definitely saved my stomach when I was super hungry after a long day in Malibu.“

“I know, the name outside is a Mexican restaurant, but you will travel to Sri Lanka for sure. The ambiance is really simple, casual, every Friday and Saturday nights they have buffet for $20 person. You need eat with hooper, a pancake bowl. The food is delicious! And the service is friendly. Also, you need try Fatoolah, delicious drink dessert , $4. There is a market beside, I will try next day. It was a tip from one Sri Lanka guy.“

“Fantastic service great vibe. Food was good a little above average. They are a cantina but DO NOT serve alcohol. They said they will be soon but as of our visit they did not. The pork belly was amazing and the best dish we had. The quest fundido was delicious but the addition of chorizo would have made it over the top delicious. The Asada is not a traditional Carne Asada. It was a bit chewy and I would not get it again. The breakfast tacos were delicious. You can't go wrong giving this place a try and maybe you'll enjoy the asada more than we did. I will definitely be back once they open the bar and give other items a try.“

“These guys hit it on all that counts! The service was great from the second I walked in until I left! Food was excellent and the atmosphere was fun! That's a lot of exclamation points but they earned it! I started with the House Margarita with Chips and Salsa, both were great but the salsa was to die for. I had the Fajitas El Patron for dinner, OMG...the steak and chicken were so tender they could both be cut with a fork and the flavor was spectacular. Loved the shrimp too and the veggies were caramelized to perfection. Can't wait to come back!“

“I don't even eat at gracis senor, but I am writing this review because there is a local law firm called Davis Wright and Tremaine that has been harassing the local taco vendors for the past few weeks in the Pacific Palisades. Apparently the law firm has delivered threatening letters to Gracias Senor (the daytime taco truck), as well as the nighttime pop-up tent-based taco vendors, and perhaps the other trucks as well. There are clearly a coalition of palisades karens who have nothing constructive to do with their time and therefore seek to destroy the hard work of local businesses, lessening the beauty of the Palisades in the process. These same anti-taco-truck karens are probably the same types of people who yelled at people for not taking covid vaccines two years ago: the type of people who thrive on the oppression of the free will of other human beings and live to control others, for it gives them a false sense of empowerment and meaning. These anti-taco karens would clearly like for every single establishment in the palisades to be bland, overpriced, licensed and regulated by some nonsensical city governing body, and close early. The good news is that for every one of the anti-taco Karens who seek to oppress the small business owners, there are twenty more people who support the taco vendors! Don't be intimidated by Davis Wright and Tremaine and the karen army.“

“Really great place. They have a lot of local beers on tap such as Enegren, Topa Topa, Made West, along with a few others. They have big TVs all around with sports games on, it gives more of a sport bar vibe than a Mexican restaurant. The service was really fast and friendly. The food was really good I had the Carne Asada Tacos Street Style and the Chicken Nachos. I feel the Tacos were a little pricey at $3.75 each however the Chicken Nachos which I think were $12 were really good and came with lots of toppings and the Guacamole that comes on the Nachos was tasty as well. Over all great place to chill and eat some great Mexican food.“

“Amazing service! I wish all restaurants were this outgoing at their registers. It made me feel like nothing would go wrong! This place is one of those order at the counter, then sit till they call you to pick it up. Most tables were taken, but we were still able to find a seat. The seating area was cozy, but they also had an outdoor seating area, but it was windy and chilly, so we stayed inside. I ordered the Chorizo with beans, and my Aunt ordered the Chile relleno. You could tell it was made with love. The guys that work there are really pleasant and run a fantastic ship. If I visit Auntie again in her neck of the woods, I would definitely come back.“

“I have been to El Pollo Corona Grill, a few times both in their MoorPark and their Simi Valley locations. The food is excellent! Compliments to their chefs! I have had their chicken, tri-tip and pork chop plates. Service is very fast and very friendly. The place is clean and orderly. Their counter attendants are welcoming, quick and very good at what they do helping to keep the line moving. Most Mexican Restaurants don't give you guacamole or sometimes not even cheese. But I got guacamole, Tomato and onions, and shredded cheese. The portion size was perfect. My son's chicken quesadilla tacos were good too.“

The taquitos can be made vegan if you ask for all the toppings on the side and avoid the dairy and dressings (honey). The chips and guacamole are always like the best thing ever. Did you know they have habanero salsa? It'll knock your socks off. Yes, it's spicy lol. For a nicer ambiance ask to sit outside because indoors is a bit noisy. Bathroom can get messy at peak hours. Excellent service. I am a very repeat customer. Good for families or a night out with friends or a hot date. Oh and you can it all to go, just call ahead. Parking is dicey on Canyon Club nights and it can be cold at night. Cinco de Mayo is literally a no go, too busy. I detracted a star because there's nothing inherently vegan on the menu. But I could live off the chips and salsa. Seriously, go try.“
