Restaurantji's Chatsworth recommendations for the finest Mexican cuisine.
“I revisited this place after years, having been a regular from 2007 to 2014 growing up. Surprisingly, nothing much has changed, except for the owner sporting grey hairs and the welcomed addition of card payments. The familiar great taste of the food, horchata, and salsa remain the same in a good way.“
“I popped in at 9:30 pm on Super Bowl Sunday and had a nice meal. I live in Simi Valley and all the Mexican food places close by 9 or 10 pm. I didn't wanna be rushed so it was nice they're open til 11. Walked in and was greeted by Tony I believe who was sweeping the floor. We talked some football. Didn't catch the name of the nice lady behind 5he register but she was cool too.. They are really nice. They got my Super Nachos out to me in a just a few minutes. For meat I had lengua. The lengua was nice and tender and had just the right amount of flavor. Everything was fresh and the portion was just how I like it. Big! The Jamaica drink was full of flavor and nice and cold. They also have a salsa bar. I will definitely go back and support this family owned business.Parking: It is a small plaza and unless uts later at night parking will be a lil difficult. Not a deal breaker tho.“
“Our new favorite little whole in the wall place for authentic Mexican food! Their chili rellano is amazing also, their breakfasts are really good. Their combo plates are so good! Prices are reasonable and we eat there now about once a week. The owner is so nice and he always has a joke or two.“
“Food is awesome! This was my first time here, ordered the 3 taco combo with asada, chicken and pastor tacos. Tacos were delicious! The rice and beans usually lack flavor at other taco shops like this, but these rice and beans are very flavorful! Love this place! Will definitely go back to try different things. Great food, friendly service, and a clean environment. Thanks!“

“The food is always excellent, fresh and good proportions. I wish they had a gluten free tortilla option. There are many available. They told me they only have corn tortillas in the small (street taco) size. Looking forward to more GF items on the menu.Vegetarian options: You can order items with or without meat.Kid-friendliness: Nice atmosphere indoors and outdoor seating available for kids if needed.Parking: Ample free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Not a problem.“
“I come here Soo often for the carne asada burrito they know me it's really good compared to other underwhelming burritos Ive had around, this place is my go to. The slasa is super flavorful reminds me of my family's so I can tell they make it fresh often love this place !“
“Best Mexican restaurant ever in the Valley! My mother is disabled. It was super easy from the handicap parking right into the outdoor dining area first table. They were very helpful & accommodating. This is the best Tostada I've ever had in my life. Shredded chicken & juicy in every bite! Mom absolutely loves her chile Ellen & cheese enchilada. My cadallac margarita is amazing and the service is perfect. Come here if you want to feel like you're in a Mexican Hacienda spread out beautiful greenery & trees and a five decade old Mexican restaurant loaded with savory tastes!“
“Amazing service! I wish all restaurants were this outgoing at their registers. It made me feel like nothing would go wrong! This place is one of those order at the counter, then sit till they call you to pick it up. Most tables were taken, but we were still able to find a seat. The seating area was cozy, but they also had an outdoor seating area, but it was windy and chilly, so we stayed inside. I ordered the Chorizo with beans, and my Aunt ordered the Chile relleno. You could tell it was made with love. The guys that work there are really pleasant and run a fantastic ship. If I visit Auntie again in her neck of the woods, I would definitely come back.“
