The salmon tacos are awesome and freshly made guacamole doesn’t disappoint 👍🏻 The tortillas are lovingly made by hand and are fresh. One of the most soulful places in Los Angeles- great little bar and historic background. DONT go as I love the cozy authentic vibe - just kidding - I highly recommend this restaurant It would make a great venue for special occasions (this is unsolicited - I just can’t rave enough and want them to flourish- Covid was tough on them like many businesses) Lastly, everyone working there are so friendly and accommodating 5 stars ⭐️😄”

“We got married at the Inn of the Seventh Ray on October 10, 2026, and we could not have picked a better place. Of all the compliments we heard that night, the most frequent one (after how great the bride looked) was simply what an incredible venue it was.

The setting does a lot of the work for you. Tucked into Topanga Canyon under the trees, with the creek and the fountain and the lights coming on as the sun goes down, it feels like a different world twenty minutes from the city. We held a traditional Hindu ceremony under a mandap, followed by cocktails, dinner, and a dance party, and the grounds handled every one of those transitions beautifully. Our guests kept wandering off to explore and coming back with the same look on their faces.

The team is the other half of the story. Jared, the venue manager, was straightforward and responsive through contracting and billing, and the group tasting gave us a real sense of the food well ahead of time. The dinner itself was excellent, with the sea bass a particular standout, and the bar kept the drinks flowing all night. The bride's signature cocktail, a recipe the bar came up with, was a huge hit. But the real standout was Krystal, the in-house wedding coordinator. She ran our planning meetings, answered a hundred questions over six months, handled some creative layout challenges for the mandap, and on the day itself she was the calm center of everything. Point person, problem solver, and occasionally talk therapist. If something went wrong that night, we never found out about it.

We planned this wedding ourselves with no outside planner, and the Inn made that possible. Five stars without hesitation.”

“I loved my dining experience there! The decor is warm and special; the service, impeccable, and the food is beautifully presented and delicious. I recommend the lobster spring rolls, the calamari and shrimp salad, and the duck fried rice. If you really like lemongrass, then try the seared scallops!”

From the outside, you wouldn’t expect it to be a really chill, relaxing vibe type of place with open kitchen and great place of local neighborhood organic ingredients joint. Very organic kid’s drawing pics hanging throughout the place, it doesn’t look out of place but more of family & neighborhood feeling kind of place. It’s an all day place with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Got here between breakfast & lunch and both menu looks fantastic. Want to order them all but settled for pizzas and salad & of course lemonchello spitz. Great pizza dough and the ingredients are fresh and you can see and taste it that it makes with love for sure. Salad was good abit blanched for me but was focusing on the pizza so…very well make and well cook in the wood fired oven. The pastries look delish and smell fantastic. Service was attentive and friendly, no rush but chill vibe type of service. Prices wise, for 2 pizzas, a cocktail, and a salad and with tip…$150. Parking can be a hassle but if you are willing to walk a little, free neighborhood street parking or if you can find parking within 200feets, then it will be paid street parking or paid garage parking nearby. Still thinking of their pizzas, yum!”

“I took my husband for Father’s Day brunch/lunch at our favorite Italian restaurant here in the Palisades and as always it did not disappoint. It never does. He loved his steak and eggs, steak was Devine and I loved my chick pea soup. Always have the panne cotta and the cherry gelato and an espresso in their delightful patio and you’ve been to Italy!”

I am sometimes very picky about my pasta but they did a great job making it. I also thought the fish was very well made and the salad that comes with it was so fresh and good. “The wait staff were great. The lasagna was mushy with no texture. The flavors were very mild. The pasta was cooked perfectly on the second dish, but, again, the flavors were too subtle. Sad to say, we enjoyed Elephante's pasta more.”

“This place is INCREDIBLE. Their croissants are out of this world! My absolute favorite things to get here are the kouign-amann and today I had the absolute best cinnamon roll I've ever tasted! I swear it was life changing! It was so buttery and gooey inside yet crispy on the outside. I also had a pistachio lemon croissant which was just fantastic! Not as life changing as the cinnamon roll but still wonderful.

This place gets BUSY and sells out so try to get there early because the word is out. On the weekends there's always a line out the door onto the sidewalk, but I assure you, it's worth the wait!

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.”
