“I had my family at The Grill Stories Restaurant yesterday Feb. 28, 2026 There were 6 of us and the food was amazingly delicious we had two big family platers and extra sides , my daughter needs gluten free so she had the Mediterranean salad alone separately she said it was fantastic. The outside dining was very comfortable and cozy , it was a beautiful 85° weather . The round lady hostess and other people there were very friendly and welcoming . After we stuffed ourselves there was still plenty of food to pack and take home . Ultimately it was a great experience and with all the food it was approximately $35 per person including tax and tip, for most people it would be less because we ordered a lot of delicious food. “Hook Kabob has wonderful Greek food. If you want it, they likely have it. The place is so cute and comfortable. You can dine there, get take away and they also deliver. We like to eat there. It is fun.

The service is very friendly and they treat you like a family member. They make sure the food is right the first time and you get a goodly amount. They are famous for their kabobs, but there are other great things to have.

Their salads, wraps and desserts are so good. They have great bread and their hummus is out of this world. It is so good and so fresh.

You will love their salmon kabob and their and their pork ribs are just perfect. All their sides are great. You can have a little or a lot. After all, you can always take some home, it heats up so well.

We chose to do dinner here for my final meal before a scheduled craniotomy on 5/29 & due to being hotel guests! Despite being unable to schedule reservations the amazing staff were accommodating & quickly found seating for us. As global travelers, I must admit the meal was less than impressive but the service and ambiance quietly made up for the lack of delectable entree. I would be willing to try another meal here and open but I must admit I’m stuck with challenging sitting at the bar for a mocktail and small eats versus a dinner! My husband was impressed with the name and symbolism of the name Plateia & quickly identified it was indicative of a location of a historical battle! That’s due to his years of military service and quirk for historical history related to military history. Thank you for getting us in & giving us a moment to step downstairs before we (I) personally underwent a major life changing surgery at UCLA!“

The boneless chicken kabobs are super juicy and cooked to perfection. We also tried the ghormeh sabzi and the gheyme and they were both very good!!! one of my favorite hidden gems on the west side of the valley. The owner is very kind and sweet as the food is made with love.“
