“I stopped by Bacolod Chick’n Inasal for the first time after hearing good things about it, and I’m really glad I did. The grilled chicken was incredibly juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right with that delicious smoky flavor you only get from charcoal grilling. You can tell the food is prepared with care and made fresh instead of being rushed.
The portions were generous, the rice paired perfectly with the chicken, and the sauces added even more flavor without overpowering the meal. I also appreciated how clean and welcoming the restaurant was. The staff greeted everyone with a smile, answered my questions about the menu, and made me feel like a valued customer.
It’s refreshing to find a place that serves authentic, comforting food while maintaining excellent customer service. Whether you’re already familiar with Filipino cuisine or trying it for the first time, Bacolod Chick’n Inasal is definitely worth a visit. “I ordered the chicken nuggets. I'm disappointed because the so-called nuggets are more like popcorn chicken since they are so darn small. You're better off just getting regular chicken since the nuggets are so small. They are definitely not the size they appear on the commercial. Ugh! Since KFC no longer sells wings, I really hoped for more. Sadly I didn't get it. ?“

“I was first introduced to Nashville-style hot chicken at Hattie B's in Nashville. Although I've never found anything quite like it here in Los Angeles (Hattie B's chicken serves bone-in whole pieces, marinated through), I'm addicted to Dave's, and love the Extra Hot! (I'll stay away from Reaper...I don't need to try something that requires a signed waiver!)

My go-to is the #4, and their fries are great too. The extra pickles they include are a really nice touch, and the sauce is a the perfect alternate to ketchup, and really goes with the chicken.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I can order at the counter, at a touch-screen kiosk, or on my app. The app has kind of become the easiest option for me now that I've gotten the hang of reordering my usual. I try to limit my fried, fast-food meals, but Dave's is usually my first thought when I'm in the mood to indulge in that kind of treat. If you like spice, it's a must-try!“

“I have loved California Chicken Cafe and eaten here for years, including using their top-notch catering. When I moved away from LA in 2021, this was the place I missed the most. I recently stopped by the Encino location while in town and grabbed my favorite wrap. It was just as incredibly fresh and delicious as ever. The consistency is amazing. My only wish is that they would bring back indoor restaurant seating. I love this place so much. I really wish they would open a location in the Portland, Oregon area!“
