You cannot skip their famous garlic sauce; it is pure perfection and pairs perfectly with everything. I also love their pickled turnips, which add the perfect bright, crunchy bite to the meal. “I was first introduced to Nashville-style hot chicken at Hattie B's in Nashville. Although I've never found anything quite like it here in Los Angeles (Hattie B's chicken serves bone-in whole pieces, marinated through), I'm addicted to Dave's, and love the Extra Hot! (I'll stay away from Reaper...I don't need to try something that requires a signed waiver!)

My go-to is the #4, and their fries are great too. The extra pickles they include are a really nice touch, and the sauce is a the perfect alternate to ketchup, and really goes with the chicken.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I can order at the counter, at a touch-screen kiosk, or on my app. The app has kind of become the easiest option for me now that I've gotten the hang of reordering my usual. I try to limit my fried, fast-food meals, but Dave's is usually my first thought when I'm in the mood to indulge in that kind of treat. If you like spice, it's a must-try!“

“Great food it’s just that my delivery person was too lazy to enter my apartment door code and keeps saying it’s not listed and he’s waiting there and he’s supposed to come up to my apartment door and leave food at the door of my unit and after a while my food was yet delivered where I wanted it except it was placed closer to the unit door next door and not the best photo and placing of the item and I had to put on my clothes to get out of my unit and next thing that I see is the bag of my food and delivery driver supposedly touched a bit of my food and the Brussel sprouts are burnt and not edible and they gave me flour tortillas with corn tortillas and corn is what the site automatically set it to“

The wait times are 10-30 minutes; the people that say that the wait times are absurdly long are exaggerating. One time I ordered the party meal, and it only took 40 minutes. The people are really nice, and it's a great atmosphere and service.“

My 12yo said the chicken was tender inside and really good seasoning, he got Medium & hot (wasnt too spicy), fries were bland, needed some salt. Garlic knots were good, but too heavy on the seasoning. Sauce was ok, very tangy. He said the pizza was really good. Prices are a little high. It's a small place, about five tables inside, clean & located in a small plaza. Staff was very welcoming & pleasant.“
