The wait times are 10-30 minutes; the people that say that the wait times are absurdly long are exaggerating. One time I ordered the party meal, and it only took 40 minutes. The people are really nice, and it's a great atmosphere and service.“

“I am 65 years old. We had dinner at Humble Bird Saturday night. I have never, repeat, NEVER had chicken this good. Crisp, juicy (but not dripping like other places), no grease in sight. We got mild, but used the hot honey supplied and what a combination of flavors. We also got potato salad and slaw. Both great additions to an already wonderful meal. The staff was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The place was spotless. I live north of Seattle, but would consider driving down just for more of their chicken...Well, and to visit my kids.“

“I was first introduced to Nashville-style hot chicken at Hattie B's in Nashville. Although I've never found anything quite like it here in Los Angeles (Hattie B's chicken serves bone-in whole pieces, marinated through), I'm addicted to Dave's, and love the Extra Hot! (I'll stay away from Reaper...I don't need to try something that requires a signed waiver!)

My go-to is the #4, and their fries are great too. The extra pickles they include are a really nice touch, and the sauce is a the perfect alternate to ketchup, and really goes with the chicken.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I can order at the counter, at a touch-screen kiosk, or on my app. The app has kind of become the easiest option for me now that I've gotten the hang of reordering my usual. I try to limit my fried, fast-food meals, but Dave's is usually my first thought when I'm in the mood to indulge in that kind of treat. If you like spice, it's a must-try!“

“As a Regular here, I’m surprised I have not reviewed this fine established yet! My family and I literally eat from this location ONCE A WEEK! It’s either via DoorDash or GrubHub who ever offers the most Discount that week ;) unless I’m in the area I’ll pick it up. Personally if it was my wish or hope I would replace them with all of Dave’s. I’m surprised they only have 2 locations. The sandwich burst with flavor and most recently Im addicted to the Burrito. Well done fellas. Absolutely love the flavors the spices and of course your smily faces. Great customer service!“

“Great food it’s just that my delivery person was too lazy to enter my apartment door code and keeps saying it’s not listed and he’s waiting there and he’s supposed to come up to my apartment door and leave food at the door of my unit and after a while my food was yet delivered where I wanted it except it was placed closer to the unit door next door and not the best photo and placing of the item and I had to put on my clothes to get out of my unit and next thing that I see is the bag of my food and delivery driver supposedly touched a bit of my food and the Brussel sprouts are burnt and not edible and they gave me flour tortillas with corn tortillas and corn is what the site automatically set it to“

“The customer service actually is what I liked the most about this place. I was welcomed when I first walked in, they friendly service and at the end, the employees introduced themselves with their name… something you will not see at most fast food places.
Not a big fan of spicy food here, but the chicken was good. My favorite was the mac n cheese. Definitely coming back here.“

“I’ve been eating at this place before 1987. I used to take my children here for dinner or lunch on Saturdays. My children are grown and are raising their families now. I am in my Senior years now and moved from that area. However, I still go over there to eat on Saturdays every now and then. One thing I can share with you, is the recipe has never changed. 😎😎“

“Omg, my family and I are big on wings. We go to wingstop and to bww all the time. First time we tried Chic Wings and we are truly blown away by how tender they are and how good the flavor is! We got the 20 for $20 on UberEats, plus some jalapeño poppers. The jalapeño poppers were delicious, only thing is we said for the price of plus $5, for 4 small jalapeño poppers are, they should be more. I think 8-10 would be a better amount for the price. The grilled chicken was incredibly juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right with that delicious smoky flavor you only get from charcoal grilling. “Got the chicken tender combo, slice of cheese pizza & garlic knots. My 12yo said the chicken was tender inside and really good seasoning, he got Medium & hot (wasnt too spicy), fries were bland, needed some salt. Garlic knots were good, but too heavy on the seasoning. Sauce was ok, very tangy. He said the pizza was really good. Prices are a little high. It's a small place, about five tables inside, clean & located in a small plaza. Staff was very welcoming & pleasant.“

“They have the best gorditas around! It’s been a min since I’ve been back. Arrived on a Monday late afternoon and no one was there. Oh yes, call ahead if you want to order the gorditas. Like I mentioned previously they make it from scratch so it takes some time. The lady on the phone said my to go order would take 20 mins. Decided to eat it there and my heart melt! The salsa is bomb, the food is bussin, come support small businesses!
