Mariscos Camanera Estilo Nayarit (a food truck) is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic, fresh seafood in LA. From the moment we tried their ceviches, my friend and I were both blown away by the incredible freshness of the fish, shrimp and veggies- fresh, zesty, and bursting with pure ocean flavor that tasted like it was caught just moments before.

The shrimp ceviche tostadas were nothing short of spectacular. Each bite was a perfect balance of tender, citrus-marinated shrimp and a kick of heat from the perfectly minced jalapeños and serrano chilis. The spice level was spot-on - present but not overwhelming, allowing the natural sweetness of the shrimp to shine through.

The fish ceviche was impeccably prepared and cooked to perfection in fresh lemon juice that brought out the most vibrant flavors. The texture was perfectly tender, fresh, and incredibly clean-tasting. This place truly understands the art of ceviche, and it shows in every single bite.

“This Food Truck is a gem to us, for the rolls we get, Sur sushi is convenient and we enjoy the sushi. We order often and have never had a problem. You can call or text to place your order. The cashier is very friendly. They are not open Mondays or Tuesdays and are only open evenings. If your not up for dealing with a restaurant even for take out, check this place out.“

“Leo's Tacos Truck is hands down one of my go-to spots. Their tacos, burritos, and drinks are all really good, but the al pastor burrito is where it’s at for me!
The flavor is on point, and I love that they include a piece of pineapple with the al pastor—it adds that perfect touch of sweetness that sets it apart. The red salsa is also really good and easily one of my personal favorites compared to other Mexican spots in the area.

It prolly is a family run business, the gentleman who took our order seemed like the one who was preparing the food as well. I like this kind of mom and pop places.

We ordered a beef noodle bowl and a lamb kabab kinda platter: the bowl was really tasty after adding a little bit of lemon juice, before that it felt like sth was missing. The lamb was so damn good ! And after the meal we ordered some “milk tea” that wasn’t on the menu and we were skeptical at first glance but were pleasantly surprised after taking the first sip. It was really refreshing :)“

“I stopped by V’s Grill on an ordinary evening, the kind that slips quietly into the next without leaving much behind. The parking lot was half full, the neon sign humming softly above the entrance, drawing people in from the darkness one table at a time.
Inside, the atmosphere was comfortable enough. Conversations floated through the room like distant radio stations, overlapping and fading into one another. The staff moved steadily between tables, carrying plates and glasses with practiced efficiency.
The food arrived without much fanfare. It was good, satisfying, and prepared properly. Nothing felt extraordinary, but nothing felt disappointing either. The meal did what a meal is supposed to do—it filled the space between hunger and contentment.
There are restaurants you remember for years, and there are restaurants you simply appreciate for being there when you need them. V’s Grill felt like the latter. A dependable stop along the road rather than a destination in itself.
When I left, the night looked much the same as when I arrived. The sign still glowed. Customers still came and went. Life continued quietly around it.
In the end, V’s Grill provided a pleasant enough experience. Not unforgettable, not disappointing—just a solid place to sit down, enjoy a meal, and let the evening pass by.“

I was out in the world longer than I wanted to be and pulled off at the truck stop LATE to see if I could roll up on a cute food truck or a drive thru for some late night vittles. ?Most things were closing or closed. It was too late for doordash or a different service & I had a ways to go before my destination.I pulled up to the Lunch Box & they were still alive! Not only alive, but service with a smile as well! “honestly i was expecting another average sushi spot but this place totally surprised me. the yellowtail is super fresh and theres this roll with crispy rice that i keep thinking about days later. i think the miso soup could be a little more flavorful but it isnt a big deal when the rest of the food is this good. the service was friendly too even though it took a while to get our check and we had to flag someone down. definitely going back for teh lunch special next time.“

“Take your time gathering any of the many sauces and things. It went take long for your order to be ready, just pause and collect then return to grab all the sauces but yet bagged. Limes, cilantro&onions, salsa fresco, salsa Verde, salsa roja x2, radishes, grilled pepper and onions, crema, and more. All the things to make the meal your own.
A note about the carne asada fries (or any meat fry), is the use of a cheese sauce instead of fresh shredded cheese which some may like but not I. I'm guessing you can substitute the cheese for the desired experience.
This taco truck is worth a retry. The crowd certainly approves and has the right frame if reference to judge a taco truck. Rarely have I seen a throng of people eating at tables beside such food trucks let alone the steady stream of customers. Festive and lively, those customers add to the positive vibes of this sidewalk eatery. Just be sure you're at the right taco truck!“

“Definitely a solid taco truck. Parked next to a public park, didn’t have an aggressive homeless presence so I felt safe and enjoyed my meal at one of the local benches.

Everything was delicious but the stars of the show were definitely the asada, Al pastor and fish tacos. The shrimp taco is prepared just like the fish taco, but fish was the definite winner. As for the chicken, it was fine, just nothing to write home about. All in all 8.5/10“

I usually resort to convenience and either get the small basic ones at Jack's or Mickey D's on my way to work. Those are easier to manage due to their smaller size, but it's always a Compromise. Not with these. I would eat this for dinner it's so good. That said, they might want to think about adding Small, Medium, and I'm Hungry sizes because there was no way I was going to drive and enjoy this food. “Randomly craved quesadillas for breakfast (ikr) and was skeptical due to the massive L’s I’ve taken in every genre of food in LA recently. So I chose a food truck nearby and pulled up bc of the amazing reviews. Boy did I make the right decision. Maggie the cashier was so nice and asked me how my morning was, very upbeat service.
