It prolly is a family run business, the gentleman who took our order seemed like the one who was preparing the food as well. I like this kind of mom and pop places.

We ordered a beef noodle bowl and a lamb kabab kinda platter: the bowl was really tasty after adding a little bit of lemon juice, before that it felt like sth was missing. The lamb was so damn good ! And after the meal we ordered some “milk tea” that wasn’t on the menu and we were skeptical at first glance but were pleasantly surprised after taking the first sip. It was really refreshing :)“

“By far the best breakfast burrito in the Crescenta Valley and honestly quite a few regions beyond CV. The chipotle & spicy green salsa MAKE it, they're so good.
I got my burrito with veggies and chorizo. Tasted fresh, nourishing, easy to eat, not dry. Zero weird oily or grill aftertaste like a lot of restaurants leave in.
Honestly these would be great road trip burritos for the car. They hold up.

“I stopped by V’s Grill on an ordinary evening, the kind that slips quietly into the next without leaving much behind. The parking lot was half full, the neon sign humming softly above the entrance, drawing people in from the darkness one table at a time.
Inside, the atmosphere was comfortable enough. Conversations floated through the room like distant radio stations, overlapping and fading into one another. The staff moved steadily between tables, carrying plates and glasses with practiced efficiency.
The food arrived without much fanfare. It was good, satisfying, and prepared properly. Nothing felt extraordinary, but nothing felt disappointing either. The meal did what a meal is supposed to do—it filled the space between hunger and contentment.
There are restaurants you remember for years, and there are restaurants you simply appreciate for being there when you need them. V’s Grill felt like the latter. A dependable stop along the road rather than a destination in itself.
When I left, the night looked much the same as when I arrived. The sign still glowed. Customers still came and went. Life continued quietly around it.
In the end, V’s Grill provided a pleasant enough experience. Not unforgettable, not disappointing—just a solid place to sit down, enjoy a meal, and let the evening pass by.“

I was out in the world longer than I wanted to be and pulled off at the truck stop LATE to see if I could roll up on a cute food truck or a drive thru for some late night vittles. ?Most things were closing or closed. It was too late for doordash or a different service & I had a ways to go before my destination.I pulled up to the Lunch Box & they were still alive! Not only alive, but service with a smile as well! “I drive by this spot all the time and finally stopped to give it a try. I got the Al Pastor burrito and was sooo happy with my choice. You see them cooking it right in front of you, all fresh. The tortillas are handmade as well and you can absolutely tell the difference. Love the salsas as well. It’s quick, reasonably priced, and everyone is kind. I have even seen the attendent cone out of the truck to go up to the customers cars to take there orders and provude them with their food. Such great people VERY HUMBLE AND HARD WORKING!! “Take your time gathering any of the many sauces and things. It went take long for your order to be ready, just pause and collect then return to grab all the sauces but yet bagged. Limes, cilantro&onions, salsa fresco, salsa Verde, salsa roja x2, radishes, grilled pepper and onions, crema, and more. All the things to make the meal your own.
A note about the carne asada fries (or any meat fry), is the use of a cheese sauce instead of fresh shredded cheese which some may like but not I. I'm guessing you can substitute the cheese for the desired experience.
This taco truck is worth a retry. The crowd certainly approves and has the right frame if reference to judge a taco truck. Rarely have I seen a throng of people eating at tables beside such food trucks let alone the steady stream of customers. Festive and lively, those customers add to the positive vibes of this sidewalk eatery. Just be sure you're at the right taco truck!“

Staff here are super friendly and welcoming. The food doesn’t take long and isn’t priced too high.

I got a Cali burrito and everyone knows I’m a burrito lover. This might be the best Cali burrito in Los Angeles.

The chicken taco was phenomenal and my pizza was good. Full of flavor but I wouldn’t get it twice.

Of all the taco spots I’ve visited this is my favorite. I’ll be back this Friday for round two.

“I stopped by Big Art's Tacos after being curious for so long and grabbed the carne asada breakfast burrito (the OG) with an orange juice.

The burrito was HUGE and had the perfect amount of everything. Sometimes breakfast burritos are overloaded with potatoes or eggs, but this one was really balanced and every bite was amazing.

I got the salsa rojo with it and it was seriously tasty, but I wish it had a little more kick haha. That's genuinely my only complaint. The salsa verde was also on the mild side and super good as well.

The orange juice was a big surprise for me! Orange juice is my favorite juice to drink, so I have it pretty often and can usually tell when it's fresh. This was seriously some of the best orange juice I've ever had. It tasted like actual oranges, not sugary concentrate, and wasn't overly sweet at all. Just fresh, refreshing, and exactly how orange juice should taste.
