“So I decided to check out V's Grill based on the reviews and it being close to work and I'm glad I did! I ordered the shrimp burrito and it was a flavor bomb explosion in my mouth! From salty to crunchy and I could taste the lime/ lemon that was added to that shrimp. I can't wait to try another item from their menu. They charge $1 for card transactions“

“This spot saved my hungry life the other night. I was out in the world longer than I wanted to be and pulled off at the truck stop LATE to see if I could roll up on a cute food truck or a drive thru for some late night vittles. ?Most things were closing or closed. It was too late for doordash or a different service & I had a ways to go before my destination.I pulled up to the Lunch Box & they were still alive! Not only alive, but service with a smile as well! Lovely, lovely customer service & EXCELLENT hot chicken strips with fries ? ? Yum! I HIGHLY recommend ?? ☺️ ??

The smash burgers have perfect lacy, crispy edges, the breakfast burritos are elite, and the seasoned fries are addictive. To top it all off, the owner, Albert, is one of the friendliest guys you’ll ever meet he greets everyone with genuine warmth and treats you like family. Incredible food and even better hospitality. “love simon. recently the quality has decreased a bit, with twice getting soggy oily tacos that just dont have the care put into them that they used to. the new digital ordering tablet is really bad. i also wish they would put their salsas into to-go cups for you so it would be cleaner than a communal station. four stars because they used to be my favorite truck in la and i know what they’re capable of!“

“I drive by this spot all the time and finally stopped to give it a try. I got the Al Pastor burrito and was sooo happy with my choice. You see them cooking it right in front of you, all fresh. The tortillas are handmade as well and you can absolutely tell the difference. Love the salsas as well. It’s quick, reasonably priced, and everyone is kind. What more can you want from a local taco stand? If you are wondering whether to stop in, just do it already and thank me later“

This place is amazing. I mean I cannot say one thing bad about this place. Besides the lemonade isn’t the best.
Staff here are super friendly and welcoming. The food doesn’t take long and isn’t priced too high.
I got a Cali burrito and everyone knows I’m a burrito lover. This might be the best Cali burrito in Los Angeles.
The chicken taco was phenomenal and my pizza was good. Full of flavor but I wouldn’t get it twice.
Of all the taco spots I’ve visited this is my favorite. I’ll be back this Friday for round two.

“Take your time gathering any of the many sauces and things. It went take long for your order to be ready, just pause and collect then return to grab all the sauces but yet bagged. Limes, cilantro&onions, salsa fresco, salsa Verde, salsa roja x2, radishes, grilled pepper and onions, crema, and more. All the things to make the meal your own.
A note about the carne asada fries (or any meat fry), is the use of a cheese sauce instead of fresh shredded cheese which some may like but not I. I'm guessing you can substitute the cheese for the desired experience.
This taco truck is worth a retry. The crowd certainly approves and has the right frame if reference to judge a taco truck. Rarely have I seen a throng of people eating at tables beside such food trucks let alone the steady stream of customers. Festive and lively, those customers add to the positive vibes of this sidewalk eatery. Just be sure you're at the right taco truck!“

“Most advanced taco truck I’ve ever been to. Walk up order on an iPad that’s playing music (+vibes), ordering was easy to edit my preferences and tap to pay, they have a menu with PICTURES of all their food (I wish every restaurant and food truck would do this it’s very helpful) and they call out ur name when it’s ready. Burrito was incredible 10/10“

“My husband and I just had pineapple fried rice, pad thai, red curry salmon, and papaya salad. EVERYTHING was top notch and better than any other Thai restaurant we have ever been to, including Original Thai BBQ, which was our go to restaurant for almost 50 years!! Truly, a hidden gem!!“

“Chorizo Breakfast Burrito was by far, one of the best burritos we’ve had. It was delicious. We would definitely go back & try a different breakfast burrito & of course their Birria tacos because that’s what they’re mainly known for. Great choice you won’t be disappointed.“
