“We booked Albert's for Saturday June 8th. Alex showed up early and prepared. Set up was so cute and quick! I am a property manager and we set this up for our residents to enjoy. The truck was fully stocked and there was so many options for people to choose from. Alex was professional and kind too. Pricing was so reasonable as well. Book them, you wont be disappointed. “This hidden gem is easy to miss if you go past the liquor store, but it's worth seeking out. The ladies who work there are incredibly welcoming and helpful, and they took the time to answer all of my questions about the menu. I ordered the mangonada and the esquite, and both were delicious. The mangonada was perfectly refreshing on a hot day, and the fresh mango bits were a delight. I'll definitely be back to try more of their offerings soon!“

“Salt & Straw is an ice cream shop nestled on the iconic Sunset Blvd, in Silver Lake section of LA. This Orgeon based ice cream shop has a modest selection of handmade ice cream flavors. I rarely eat ice cream but today I was compelled due to 90 degree weather. I came and was given a perfunctory melancholic greeting by a young female staff. It was my first time tasting this brand of ice cream; I had a scoop of Coffee & Love Nuts flavor over a waffle cone which cost $8.15 bucks. Its texture was thicc, flavorful and very sweet. I had to drink water afterwards to ease the sweetness.

Service was on point. Staff needs to improve customer service greeting which was non-existent. Prices are okay. Overall, I liked my ice cream but I had better.“

Everything we tried was good but not really impressive. The only one that stands out is the Vietnamese Rocky Road, it taste like Coffee Crumble back home. Unique combinations of flavors that makes it like a specialty ice cream store.

One downside I think is that the scoops are quite small. It doesn’t satisfy. Unusual compared to other ice cream shops, we’re generally used to having big scoops. So I think its too expensive, I can’t say its worth it. I suggest they adjust the servings and make the customer enjoy their ice cream or maybe the secret is to choose 1 flavor for all 3 scoops, idk. Try it and you’ll get what I mean.“

“Froyo at Yoga-urt is the bee's knees and delicious as always.But 1 star off for the following: Ok so here’s the thing: I’ve been to all 3 locations. This is the only one with smaller cones. Their “mini” cones are child sized and the “regular” cones are what the other 2 stores use for “mini.”So at this location, if you get 2 “regular” cones with a topping each, and tip, you’re paying $30. What’s even worse is that at the other locations (Echo and Ocean Park) you get a lot more for that price because, again, at this location the “regular” cones are much much smaller. Both times I tried this location. I even brought it up and they shrugged it off.Not to mention you can just buy a pint instead of a cone for the same price. The pricing is ridiculous.I feel horribly taken advantage of by the cone situation at this Glendale/Burbank location. A third layer of messed-upness: my regular cone was much smaller than my friend’s regular cone. I still paid $30 total though. Like a chump. Never again.“

“Amazing experience - stopped by this past Friday at 10am. I’ve been to kith stores in NY, Hawaii, Malibu and Paris but WeHo is still my favorite. The store was in pristine condition, everything freshly stocked in the morning and staff was extremely friendly & attentive, especially Josh/JJ who helped me pull multiple sizes, styles, & colors to try from the collection that just released. He made the experience that much better for me by answering all my questions and helping me get the pieces I wanted in the correct sizes.
