“I came here for gelato, and it was absolutely delicious! Both the sugar cone and the cup were excellent. The strawberry flavor is my favorite, and it was simply perfect. We also brought our little dog with us, and she was welcomed so warmly and received lots of attention. We’re so happy we found this place. The atmosphere is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully maintained down to every detail. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a delicious afternoon treat.“

“We were going to be in town for my grandson's Birthday so we decided to order an ice cream cake ahead of time near where we would be.I am very picky and ordered a special cake with ice cream chosen for each little cone that would be on top of the cake and of course a special ice cream that they did not have on their list for the month. I did this by phone. The woman I spoke to was very nice and assured me my order would be right and ready on time. It was.The place is just spotless and the service is wonderful. We were so pleased with the cake. It was great. We also had some ice cream while we were there and it too was wonderful.We especially loved the service from the B&R. “Fantastic gelato! Honestly better than many gelatos I’ve tried in Italy. You can tell that each flavor is homemade and made with high quality ingredients. Apparently the fruit flavors contain more than 50% of the actual fruit! We had the watermelon, brownie, and pistachio and loved every bite.

The owners are lovely and we also got to meet their cute corgis. Seriously could not recommend this place more; if I lived nearby I would come here all the time.“

The people working there is nice and friendly. There is a nice patio in the back too. Parking can be tricky but you can always find a spot if you move away from Ventura. It’s open late too, so if you are looking for a espresso in the evening, this may be just the place for you“

“Visited here on a Friday evening & it was moderately busy. This specific spot is very spacious compared to other Salt & Straws, clean interior is always a plus. Love that they have a little merchandise store with some benches inside & some open tables outside.

Parking here can be a bit tough though. Either parking on the curb which can be hard due to how packed the Art District can get. The alternate is to park in paid lots that can range from $4- $15+

Staff here is great, my wife and I wanted to try plenty of ice cream flavors and they were really accommodating & friendly.

We decided on a double scoop on a cup. Our two flavors combined were Salted Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough & Hazelnut Cookies & Cream. Scoop sizes are pretty big and pretty overflowing for the cups. It would be perfect if the cups were just a bit bigger to hold the scoops. Although it's a bit sweet, it was the perfect dessert after a meal.

Overall, great spot for ice cream, can't go wrong with any flavors as all the flavors are delicious. Love the vibes here because of the staff, will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.“
