“Fantastic gelato! Honestly better than many gelatos I’ve tried in Italy. You can tell that each flavor is homemade and made with high quality ingredients. Apparently the fruit flavors contain more than 50% of the actual fruit! We had the watermelon, brownie, and pistachio and loved every bite.
The owners are lovely and we also got to meet their cute corgis. Seriously could not recommend this place more; if I lived nearby I would come here all the time.“

“This Burbank location is a smaller store compared to some of the other Handels. Basically you would go up to one of several windows and order from the menu signs outside the store. They will made your item(s) and call you for pickup. There is seating area outside the store. Smaller but same great tasting homemade ice cream since 1945!“

Inside you’ll find some of the best ice cream in town- great flavors in rich fresh ice cream without too much butter fat that can leave a coating your mouth. “I love Freddo. Their coffee and ice cream are fantastic (I love all of their Dulce de Leche flavors). Their empanadas, medialunas, and alfajores are great too. The people working there is nice and friendly. There is a nice patio in the back too. Parking can be tricky but you can always find a spot if you move away from Ventura. It’s open late too, so if you are looking for a espresso in the evening, this may be just the place for you“

“I had a great experience at Yogurt in Kenneth Village! The frozen yogurt was delicious, tasted fresh, and was excellent quality. There were plenty of flavors and toppings to choose from, and everything was very clean. The worker was especially kind, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better with their friendly service. “My God I’m so grateful. I was already in little Tokyo and wanted a matcha. A quick google search lead me to this place and it’s said to be the best in LA. I think, I can agree with that statement. What in grateful is it was a Saturday evening, they work till 8pm. All other days they close at 5pm and Monday they are closed. I ordered oatmeal matcha latte , it was 6.50 and worth it“

“Delicious ice cream. Nice variety of selections. I got the affogato and it was perfect. The young kid with the curly hair in his eyes is extremely rude and grumpy. No hello, nothing. Gave us an attitude when we asked him about the cones. It's an ice cream shop. Smile more, you're working in the wrong place kid.Unfortunately this is the norm now with this generation.“

My friend got Sea Salt, and I ordered Strawberry Honey Balsamic and Sea Salt in a cup.
The portions were huge, and everything was delicious.
I also loved that you can sample the flavors before ordering.
My favorite was definitely the Sea Salt!
The shop was pretty quiet when we visited, so ordering and pickup were quick and easy.

“We recently heard about Perla's from our teen daughter. Unassuming, cute but a bit hard to spot driving southbound on Oceanview, just south of downtown Montrose. I've always told my kids that there are no better ice cream flavors than Filipino ice cream and I'm so glad they finally got to try some. So much better than store-bought Magnolia brand ice cream (no shade intended) and not as sweet as conventional flavors. I had the Melon, while my family got Buko Pandan (MY FAVORITE), Ube and Louisiana Banana. There are a few seats inside and ample seating outside. I can't wait to try the other flavors!“
