“This location has a great staff, they work well together and the food tastes hot and fresh. But the negatives are that it's difficult to find parking when the lot is full. It's a very busy location with many eateries and shops. Plus this store is small. They were busy and it felt very cramped. Also there aren't many tables for seniors or the disabled. There are only two available. The rest of the tables are too high and have stools. Not good for someone with bad knees, like myself.“

“I had such a wonderful meal at this spot in Sherman Oaks. Everything arrived at the table looking beautiful, especially the way the spring rolls and other dishes were presented on top of those crispy rice noodles.

“I came to this mom and pop restaurant on a Saturday night with no expectations and boy was I BLOWN AWAY. I absolutely loved it. The couple that own the place were super sweet and helpful in helping me decide what to get. I got the bulgogi bowl (first time ever having one) and it was one of the best dishes that I’ve ever had. I wish I lived closer to be able to eat there every, single, day. I cannot recommend this place ENOUGH, please give them a shot, you will not be disappointed.“

“Hole in the wall teriyaki place. You order at the counter, you pick up your food, you clean up your own table after eating. Easy free parking lot or street parking. They have a lunch special for $11.95 that includes chicken and rice with salad. They also have specials A, B, C and D that are around the $15 to $20 price range. I had the special C that had white rice, a big piece of chicken katsu, two pieces of chicken teriyaki, salad, two small onion rings and two dumplings for about $15.95. Not a bad value. You get a teriyaki sauce and hot sauce on the side. Their teriyaki sauce is very good here! The serving is very generous. I was not about to finish it in one sitting.“

We got 2 bento boxes (salmon and beef) tonkatsu ramen (thick slices of chashu!!!) and 2 specialty rolls - Venus and Uranus. I guess that's fair, as the bowl is pretty decently sized.On to the food: The chicken was really good. A great combination of sweet and heat (4/10 on the spicy scale. Anyone who likes spicy stuff should find it satisfying, though it's not super hot, which is a good thing). The veggies are steamed or blanched - can't tell. Either way, they're crispy while still being cooked. I liked them a lot.All in all, come stop by if you're craving a decent rice bowl. Nice flavor, well put together, maybe a bit more expensive than it should be but not too bad! Recommended!“

“This is a hidden gem in the valley. From the outside I did not expect the interior to look so nice and Japanese style.

The sushi omakase was so tasty with different cuts of fish like toro, salmon belly and more. Each one had garnishes like chili oil, yuzu, fresh wasabi, etc. The presentation is stunning. The other items we ordered were also so fresh and tasty like the Toro toast, negitoro mini bowl, and shishito peppers.
