“It is convenient. The fish is decently fresh. A small bowl, which has two scopes of fish and 3 toppings was sufficient to fill this big boy up.They also have poki tacos, which is basically a wonton shell that they put the poki in. That was a little gimmicky and I prefer the bowl better.Be sure to join the rewards program if you frequent here. They often send out 10% off coupons and $5 offs. The service was okay, it's chipotle style build your own poki. Usually fairly quiet, with only a few tables available I think most patrons get their food to go“
“I was here for a private event which the owners were kind enough to open for a friends private birthday party. We got to enjoy their very interesting mix of different foods and they were all amazingly good. I don't throw out the 5's too often but the ribs and lamb lollipops were a big surprise and tasty our group devoured them. The sushi and rolls were fresh and very good and the mexican shrimp tacos were very good Overall great friendly owners who appear to be like family in the neighborhood.“
“Tried this place for the first time. Ordered for pick up. I ordered the spicy chicken and rice plate with a green salad, along with the chicken-rice-veggie bowl. Very tasty and fresh. The chicken was quality with no grizzled, chewy pieces. I will definitely go there again.“
“Best sushi around. Always fresh and delicious. Lots of different choices for everyone, even those that enjoy cooked food.Kid-friendliness: They take great care of the kiddos. So many different options, everyone can find something they enjoy“
“I am genuinely impressed with this establishment. We came in not expecting much and pretty much ready to walk out if we didn’t like what we see. We stayed. Food was pretty decent. The sushi bar is well stocked and replenished constantly. The stations are clean and constantly checked and wiped. The raw and cooked fish were both pretty decent. Service is a bit spotty and sometimes hard to understand what they say. It’s a bit “lost in translation” but I do give them props for being kind and courteous and making an effort to communicate with us. We will definitely be back.“
“I’ve worked in the Thousand Oaks area for over 20 years and have gone to many different restaurants during those years. This one stands out as one of the very best in terms of service, freshness of menu selections, ability to have a conversation without overwhelming loud music and noise, and ambience. The menu selection is varied so there’s something for everyone. Boroka and Jorge have created something truly special with their gem of a restaurant. I rate it as my favorite.“
“My favorite Pho in the area! The broth has the perfect blend of spices and seasonings. The rich flavor is enhanced by the addition of shrimp which are large, tender and plentiful. Or, choose from a variety of beef or chicken, or just broth and noodles. I love the generous size served in authentic dish ware. Plus it is unlimited noodles! Who does that? These super nice people do! I also love the shrimp spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce, the lettuce and mint are tender and the sauce has a unique zing. In the mood for fries? Parmesan truffle fries here hit the spot. Shoestring thin, super hot, crispy on outside but a little tender inside and a liberal helping of shaved fresh Parmesan with the truffle oil and herbs on top. You will leave feeling satisfied I promise you.“
“The Conejo Valley is limited when it comes to fine dining. If you've been looking for a higher end dining experience, a place to celebrate a special occasion, or a romantic date spot, this restaurant won't disappoint. I don't want to give away spoilers, but this place is an experience where details and quality are exceptional.“
“This place is so legit. All of our dishes were out of this world yum. We had crispy tuna cut roll, spam musubi, chicken pho, chicken larb, and the Mongolian beef noodles. You have to come and try this place. We're definitely coming back.“
“Total hole in the wall on the east side of Simi and completely worth the visit. It’s probably best described as a hodgepodge of different Asian style dishes and the price is right on their rice bowls. I got their crispy salmon bowl this time but I haven’t had a bowl I didn’t like. Usually pretty fast and the people there are very sweet. Not pictured are the fish cake appetizer. So delicious and recommend you get them spicy!“
