We had the option to sit indoors or outdoors, and we chose to dine indoors. Let me tell you, the atmosphere was so chill and refreshing, with lush green plants hanging from the ceiling - it was truly a sight to behold. As soon as we were seated, our lovely waitress brought us water and took our orders. We decided to go with the prime rib sliders, which were hands down the best sliders we've ever had, along with some mouth-watering garlic fries, refreshing black cherry vodka, and a crisp green IPA to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Before we knew it, our drinks and food arrived, and wow, were we blown away! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the drinks were served ice cold. I can honestly say that we will be returning to this spot time and time again, and I highly recommend that you do too! Make sure to come by and experience the amazing vibes and drinks for yourself. Can't wait to see you there!”
“I forgot to take pictures of my main entree because I literally inhaled it! I have never had such AMAZING Greek food!! I had the hummus appetizer, Chicken Pita Gyro, and Baklava. My sister has celiacs and they had wonderful gluten free pita options! Our waitress was also so kind and personable! My whole family agreed that it was the best Greek food we’ve ever had! We had a fantastic experience!”

“This our new go to Sushi place. The fish is always fresh, the food is delicious and affordable. The staff is always very friendly. The only negative I could say is the decor is very blah. But the food and service more than make up for it. I ordered the Togyu special, Toro sashimi and seared Wagyu sashimi, and a roll, my wife had the Spicy Tuna on crispy rice, amazing.”

“Go Fish is the greatest sushi place EVER! We have been going there for over a year, and have never had a bad experience. The employees are very clean, and make sure to wash hands before touching other people's plates. The chef's are literally magicians that can make the most outstanding sushi ever. This is definitely not your normal sushi place. They have many out of the ordinary dishes made with sushi that when you taste them it makes you wonder why other sushi places aren't making those! I'm referring to things like the sushi burrito, Red Bull roll (which has filet mignon on the top), sushi taco's, and many other creative dishes. If you haven't been here you are totally missing out! I endorse you to rebuff your normal McDonalds dinner, and come to this epic sushi place!”

Our favorites are the Popeye and Strawberry Croissant. The ambiance inside the bakery was really nice and everything is so clean. Also, the staffs were really nice! Would recommend!”
“My wife and I had a fantastic Valentine's Day dinner at Munay. Their special was an amazing four course dinner with some of the best Bruchetta we've ever had, veggie bisque, we split an outstanding Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes to die for and some of their pesto pasta, and finally had a fun chocolate mousse/white chocolate shell dessert that with what seemed to be spun sugar that they lit on fire.The staff were fantastic, welcoming, and quick.The ambiance was fun Valentine's Day hearts and pseudo candles in a warm environment.Overall, it was an outstanding experience and we can't wait to return soon.”

I've noticed they remember most of their costumers, which I find really sweet. The waiters are also so kind, great service. Really homey feeling place, and the prices are good for what you get! “We live quite a distance from this cafe, but if we get a chance we will drive all the way here for delicious Taiwanese food. I love how the owner remembers us over more than 10 years. :). She is so sweet and remembers her customers. We especially love the popcorn chicken with veggies, egg, and rice. Boba is delicious too! There is a little gift shop there with things that are handmade. There are lots of tables in there.”
“On Easter Sunday after church my sister and another good friend were in the mood for Mediterranean food. We looked on Yelp and were happy to see beautiful reviews for Ali Baba Cafe. Let me tell you this restaurant did not disappoint on any level! A family atmosphere, with yummy aromas throughout we sat, were greeted my a joyful young man who was stellar in his service, getting us seated and started with water and tea. Then the waiter came and shared more about the menu favorites and the differences between certain dishes which was very helpful. The Hummus was amazing! Then each of the dishes we ordered two of ordered lamb dishes and one a beef dish, all were very delicious. The portions were plentiful! Then I ordered the most delectable baklava flaky and soaked in (honey I believe) but the most perfect balance. We will surely be back to this blessed restaurant. What a great first experience. Thank you to all those who served us with excellence from the seating to, taking our order to when we checked out and paid leaving out. Each person greeted us with joy. Thank you for the wonderful service and keep feeding families and providing joyful service!”
“Really great place. They have a lot of local beers on tap such as Enegren, Topa Topa, Made West, along with a few others. They have big TVs all around with sports games on, it gives more of a sport bar vibe than a Mexican restaurant. The service was really fast and friendly. The food was really good I had the Carne Asada Tacos Street Style and the Chicken Nachos. I feel the Tacos were a little pricey at $3.75 each however the Chicken Nachos which I think were $12 were really good and came with lots of toppings and the Guacamole that comes on the Nachos was tasty as well. Over all great place to chill and eat some great Mexican food.”

“The Lucky Dog Cafe is my go-to coffee place in Simi Valley. The staff are wonderful, friendly and proficient. The coffee is outstanding, the baked goods are tasty. There is good indoor and outdoor seating in a very pleasant atmosphere. The lucky dog is pet friendly, and even though I don't own a pet, I enjoy having the occasional dog around. I highly recommend it.”

A couple of people, including the mother-to-be, have Celiac (cannot have wheat, barley or rye) and wanted to make sure this was a gluten free event so they wouldn't have to worry about eating the wrong thing or cross-contamination. “Megu Sushi is the best sushi I've had in the last 10 year in and around Los Angeles. Everything is thoughtfully and delicately prepared. Chef Willy has some amazing sushi specials and rolls. I usually go for the 911 roll and the oaks roll. His 911 roll is the best I've ever had. He sushi cuts are nice and thin and everything melts in your mouth. Since moving to Simi Valley, this has quickly become my go-to spot. Amazing happy hour specials too! Make sure to check those out.”

My only issue with the place is the atmosphere. The restaurant has a cafeteria feel and the acoustics are bad, very noisy. Despite that, I would recommend it. It is one of my 2 go to breakfast restaurants in Simi.”

“These guys hit it on all that counts! The service was great from the second I walked in until I left! Food was excellent and the atmosphere was fun! That's a lot of exclamation points but they earned it! I started with the House Margarita with Chips and Salsa, both were great but the salsa was to die for. I had the Fajitas El Patron for dinner, OMG...the steak and chicken were so tender they could both be cut with a fork and the flavor was spectacular. Loved the shrimp too and the veggies were caramelized to perfection. Can't wait to come back!”

“I have been to El Pollo Corona Grill, a few times both in their MoorPark and their Simi Valley locations. The food is excellent! Compliments to their chefs! I have had their chicken, tri-tip and pork chop plates. Service is very fast and very friendly. The place is clean and orderly. Often there are many people in their restaurant, either sitting enjoying their meal or getting takeout. Their counter attendants are welcoming, quick and very good at what they do helping to keep the line moving. My son's chicken quesadilla tacos were good too.”

I had the best afternoon here with my friends as we raced around the track and conquered the obstacles on the car track.We then went to the food truck and had THE BEST Colombian food on earth. The steak skewer and cheese empanadas were my favorite. They were made with such intricate spices and the empanada made a beautiful cheese pull when we broke it in half to share.Every arepa variety on the menu was delightful as well, and such a unique addition to Simi Valley. There are also burger options for those craving a more All-American food experience.Whether you're in the mood for RC racing, delicious Colombian food, or both, Off Road is an absolute must try - with the added perk of supporting a small business when you come here as well!HIGHLY recommend. The beef lomein was a bit greasy, but despite that, they give you a generous amount of meat, and it was so tasty.Funnily enough, I overheard someone on the next table complain a chicken dish had too much meat and not enough vegetables, which seems a bit silly.My partner ordered sweet and sour chicken lunch special that came with rice. It wasn't too sweet or too sour compared to most places in sure it can be adjusted if asked.Overall the price and the amount of food you get was spot on, and the price is as is on the menu which is great if you're not use to the final price hidden behind taxes or gratuity after you get the bill.”

“On Sunday we ordered takeout. We ordered spicy noodle soup . Unbelievable depth of flavor and texture. A bit spicy but the taste was far beyond my 74 years of experience. Amazing taste and intriguing flavor. Next we ordered the 703 shredded pork with Beijing sauce and the Szechuan shredded pork. Both had a great taste and flavor. It seems that almost everything on the menu is very good to excellent. Service and staff are always very pleasant except when very busy. My other regular soul is seafood hot and sour which is great on a cold night. Please give them a chance. You will enjoy there offering s.”
“I met with a couple of former coworkers for Margarita Monday and some snacks. From the moment I walked in, service was excellent. I told the hostess that I had a reservation for 1, but that some others were going to be joining me (unsure how many). Due to having bad knees, I asked for a high top table. She told me to sit where I liked. A few minutes later I was greeted by a server who took my drink order. Within a minute or two after that, someone came by with chips & salsa and asked if I had been helped. The guava margarita was delicious. My friends joined me a few minutes later and ordered the Chupacabra margarita and a cucumber margarita. They both said their drinks were good. After catching up over a couple cocktails each, we ordered a few happy hour food items. The taquitos, buffalo wings and loaded asada fries were all delicious. Throughout the evening, service was excellent. Our waiter checked to see if we needed additional drinks or anything else to eat throughout our stay. Several of the tables had birthdays which were met with quite the celebration! Great to see the staff take part in recognizing someone's special day. The only negative thing about the location are the high ceilings and openness of the building that make it rather noisy. Not so much that you can't carry on a conversation at your table, just not a quiet one.”

The sushi bar is well stocked and replenished constantly. The stations are clean and constantly checked and wiped. The raw and cooked fish were both pretty decent. Service is a bit spotty and sometimes hard to understand what they say. It’s a bit “lost in translation” but I do give them props for being kind and courteous and making an effort to communicate with us. We will definitely be back.”

Its cafeteria style, but It was all as good as a sitdown restaurant. The pizza was the real winner for me. Don't be fooled by it being under a heating lamp. Super cheesy and something about the dough was magical - crisp on the edges and super fluffy and chewy on the inside. Definitely better than most places that sell single slices. Honestly if I were ever in the area, I'd go just for the cafe. And luckily, you don't need a ticket to the library to go!”

The food looked and tasted equally amazing, and my only regret was not taking a picture before I had already polished off the eggs, fruit, and half of my french toast. “I met with a couple of former coworkers for Margarita Monday and some snacks. From the moment I walked in, service was excellent. I told the hostess that I had a reservation for 1, but that some others were going to be joining me (unsure how many). Due to having bad knees, I asked for a high top table. She told me to sit where I liked. A few minutes later I was greeted by a server who took my drink order. Within a minute or two after that, someone came by with chips & salsa and asked if I had been helped. The guava margarita was delicious. My friends joined me a few minutes later and ordered the Chupacabra margarita and a cucumber margarita. They both said their drinks were good. After catching up over a couple cocktails each, we ordered a few happy hour food items. The taquitos, buffalo wings and loaded asada fries were all delicious. Throughout the evening, service was excellent. Our waiter checked to see if we needed additional drinks or anything else to eat throughout our stay. Several of the tables had birthdays which were met with quite the celebration! Great to see the staff take part in recognizing someone's special day. The only negative thing about the location are the high ceilings and openness of the building that make it rather noisy. Not so much that you can't carry on a conversation at your table, just not a quiet one.”

A family atmosphere, with yummy aromas throughout we sat, were greeted my a joyful young man who was stellar in his service, getting us seated and started with water and tea. Then the waiter came and shared more about the menu favorites and the differences between certain dishes which was very helpful. The Hummus was amazing! Then each of the dishes we ordered two of ordered lamb dishes and one a beef dish, all were very delicious. The portions were plentiful! Then I ordered the most delectable baklava flaky and soaked in (honey I believe) but the most perfect balance. We will surely be back to this blessed restaurant. What a great first experience. Thank you to all those who served us with excellence from the seating to, taking our order to when we checked out and paid leaving out. Each person greeted us with joy. The sushi bar is well stocked and replenished constantly. The stations are clean and constantly checked and wiped. The raw and cooked fish were both pretty decent. Service is a bit spotty and sometimes hard to understand what they say. It’s a bit “lost in translation” but I do give them props for being kind and courteous and making an effort to communicate with us. We will definitely be back.”
