“This is my favorite Hotel in Chiang Rai BECAUSE OF THE STAFF! I come often, and all the staff is so remarkable in their cheer, friendliness, calling me by name, and helpful in every detail! The managers are wonderful! They welcome me by name and give the red carpet treatment! The Chefs and those in the restaurant bend over backwards for me, in making my favorite dishes, even if it is NOT on the menu! The house girls cleaning the rooms take care of me with the most beautiful smiles I have ever seen!! Last, and most definitely not least, are the bellboys! They are all incredibly helpful, pleasant, and humorous! TOY and NOPE and WAVE are exceptional! They run to meet me at my car, with the warmest welcome, taking ALL my bags and luggages, and welcoming me so warmly. They ask me about my work, my health, and make me feel like their family!!!! THIS does not happen in other hotels! I travel extensively in Thailand to 5 star hotels, and also in other countries. I love the Restaurant Chefs and Staff! Last night they made Sticky Rice especially for me as I had to work late! Am, Corn, Tarn, Jasmine, Wan, and Perk are so attentive, and wonderful!!! Because of this hotel, I always want to stop in Chiang Rai. I also have talked to the young owners, and gave suggestions and ideas...which they carried out! That doesn't happen elsewhere! So JOIN me here at Grand Vista. Although the rooms, food, pool, and facilities are wonderful...it's the STAFF that will impress you!! It's the STAFF that will make you come back!! Nice outdoor seating if you don’t want to be indoors; the cute menu includes vegetarian options and nice cocktails (though not poured deep); we lived our options. I got the impossible taco salad (Impossible crumbles replaced regular hamburger taco meat); my son had a Pepperoni flatbread; he pointed out to us that (per the menu)a dollar from every sale of that pizza goes to children’s charities. “Have dined at Pearl District many times over the years for special occasions or just a nice evening out. It's always consistently delivered in great customer service and quality food. Offers great drink options and also an extensive wine list (by the glass or bottle). Some of the standout dishes are the "pan roasted wild mushrooms", "braised short ribs", filet mignon & branzino. For dessert the "wonder bar" is a must!“

“Real crab in the burrito-peefect.The Cancun burrito which had grilled fish and real crab, had an amazing flavor. It comes with tortilla which is great with the salsa bar. Great flavors, ch I ices and pther items at the self service bar. Especially the Habanero. Staff are welcoming and friendly which is a high point. I wished the burrito was a little larger, but with the chips amd crab is filling. I cannot wait to come back again. Overall, 10/10. Flavor 10/10. Cleanliness 10/10. Chill place to eat inside or on the patio.“

“Located inside of Nordstrom at The Oaks Mall (on the 2nd floor), this restaurant is a nice little hideaway from all typical dining choices available when I work in TO. It's familar, and also nice, but not pretentious. “Absolutely fantastic! I did not remember to take a picture until I was almost done. The breakfast flatbread was fantastic. The soft and crunchy, spicy and sweet, savory and light…perfect, flavorful balance.
The atmosphere was like being with familiar friends, with warmth and strength, genuine kindness with no fluff and yet a certain love for the people, the staff and the quality of food- shown with actions and mannerisms.“

“Sunset Terrace is my "GO TO" social and sports bar in Thousand Oaks and I frequent 3 times a week. By far they have the best happy hour on weekdays 3 - 7 pm. (Drinks - 50% off / Food - 25% off). They have plenty of pool tables, big screen TVs, and the only bowling alley (4 lanes) in town. The crowd is mostly locals who welcome newbies and make them feel right at home. The bartenders and servers are friendly and efficient and I rate their food a #10. The have security and I like the fact that never have I seen a fight there. “So good that my cousin and I went there three times in one week! The food was really good, especially for the price, the staff (all three waiters we had!) were knowledgable, helpful, kind/friendly, and the atmosphere on the patio was pleasant. This seems like a small thing but most of the time when I order salmon and ask for it to be on the tender/rare side my request is ignored -- not at Rosti, they got it right! The vegetables and potatoes were well-cooked, and the house-baked bread was soooo good! 100% recommend.“

“Cinepolis Westlake is a bit of a mixed bag right now. On the positive side, the sound quality is fantastic and the staff/service is always excellent and attentive. However, the auditoriums are desperately in need of an upgrade. The seats only slightly recline, squeak loudly every time you shift your weight, and are actively falling apart. I left the theater with the physical memory of the film—and literal pieces of the chair's peeling fabric stuck to my clothes. Come for the audio, but wear clothes you don't mind getting covered in fake leather flakes.“
