“On Easter Sunday after church my sister and another good friend were in the mood for Mediterranean food. We looked on Yelp and were happy to see beautiful reviews for Ali Baba Cafe. Let me tell you this restaurant did not disappoint on any level! A family atmosphere, with yummy aromas throughout we sat, were greeted my a joyful young man who was stellar in his service, getting us seated and started with water and tea. Then the waiter came and shared more about the menu favorites and the differences between certain dishes which was very helpful. The Hummus was amazing! Then each of the dishes we ordered two of ordered lamb dishes and one a beef dish, all were very delicious. The portions were plentiful! Then I ordered the most delectable baklava flaky and soaked in (honey I believe) but the most perfect balance. We will surely be back to this blessed restaurant. What a great first experience. Thank you to all those who served us with excellence from the seating to, taking our order to when we checked out and paid leaving out. Each person greeted us with joy. “I have been to El Pollo Corona Grill, a few times both in their MoorPark and their Simi Valley locations. The food is excellent! Compliments to their chefs! I have had their chicken, tri-tip and pork chop plates. Service is very fast and very friendly. The place is clean and orderly. Often there are many people in their restaurant, either sitting enjoying their meal or getting takeout. Their counter attendants are welcoming, quick and very good at what they do helping to keep the line moving. “We had a nice meal at Yolanda's. Service was great and our food arrived promptly. Seating was comfortable and our food was tasty. The sides with the fajitas were really good. Most Mexican Restaurants don't give you guacamole or sometimes not even cheese. But I got guacamole, Tomato and onions, and shredded cheese. The portion size was perfect. My son's chicken quesadilla tacos were good too.“

“It's about time I leave a review. One of the most consistent restaurants with great service and food in Simi Valley. Sunday, my family tried giving Mariachi Loco Grill and Cantina a try for a different type of menu to fall short, cancel our order, pay for our drinks and drive to Maria's where it is tried and true. What an extreme difference in experience between the two restaurants but nothing less than what it is every time we visit Maria's which is at least three times a month. How refreshing to have great service, great food (Mole, guac and Agua Fresca my fav) all effortlessly. Thank you Maria's for being authentic and never disappointing. Keep shining!“

“Best Mexican food in Simi Valley. Great little family operation. Their breakfast is probably the best thing they do. Best breakfast burrito, and huevos rancheros I’ve ever had. Their rice and beans are excellent. Love their burritos, shrimp tostadas, shrimp tacos, and tacos durados with el pastor. Hector and his wife always make you feel so welcome. Highly recommend and I’m a very tough critic. Have worked in restaurants for 16 years.“

The waitress was really helpful at making things right whenever we had a problem with our food but also making sure we were enjoying it. Very friendly staff. The inside seating is a little cramped if you come in with five plus people.Parking: The parking for this place is very cramped and holds about 7 cars without it being maxed out.Kid-friendliness: Super friendly to kids. My little sister didn’t like the burrito and the waitress speaker to her in a kind way asking what she can do to make it right.“
