“Our furbabies love the "pup meals" at In-n-Out. We went yesterday for our furbabies 12th birthday and had a HUGE order for their birthday party with family. Mia helped us out at the drive-thru. She saw our furbabies in the car and we told her it was their birthday and told her what we were doing. She was so amazing!! She was patient with us and our order. As we drove thru to pick up our food, she came to the window and said "hi, it’s me again" and handed us 1 of our bags, which was the food for the furbabies. Inside the bag, was a hand written note on a napkin that said "Happy Birthday". We were so touch that she went above and beyond to make our babies birthday special that we told the other employees that she needed a raise! One of our babies has a heart condition that he wasn’t suppose to be with us anymore so this gesture was so special and made our day!! Thank you again Mia!!!!!“

“The Hat in Simi Valley is an absolute gem! This classic spot at 1308 E. Los Angeles Ave has been delivering that old-school, hearty American comfort food vibe since the chain started back in 1951, and the Simi location nails it every time.

I went for the **world-famous pastrami dip**—piled high with tender, juicy pastrami on a soft roll, dipped in rich au jus—and it did not disappoint. The meat was perfectly seasoned, not too fatty, and the bread held up beautifully without getting soggy. Paired it with their legendary chili cheese fries, which were loaded, crispy on the outside, and ridiculously addictive. Portions are generous (we easily shared one sandwich and a small fries between two people and still had leftovers), and everything came out hot and fresh.

The service is quick and friendly—counter ordering keeps things moving, even when it's busy. Love the retro diner feel inside too; it's casual, no-fuss, and perfect for a quick lunch or takeout. Prices are fair for the quality and amount of food you get.

If you're in Simi Valley and craving a satisfying, no-nonsense sandwich (or just great fries), The Hat is a must-try. Easily one of the best spots in town—I'll definitely be back soon! 5 stars all the way.“

“Place was great for lunch. Food was seriously delicious. Some of the best barbecue I’ve had. We got the Tri tip sandwich and the mushroom burger. Both were full of flavor. cocktails were great as well. Love their outdoor patio, it’s got great views of the valley. The staff were super attentive and nice. This is definitely a spot I’m coming back to and hope to checkout the live music on the weekends.“

“I've had the coffee drinks before and they're always good, but today I also tried one of the smash burgers and it was so friggin' good. I will definitely be coming back for more.

The staff is always super friendly and greet you when you come in. One employee in particular, Kat, was hilarious and made my drink really well. She's the best!

“I don’t usually leave reviews for chain restaurants, but the service at this Dairy Queen truly deserves a shoutout—specifically because of the owner, Aryan.

You can tell when someone genuinely cares about their business, and Aryan is that kind of owner. I’ve been to this location multiple times now, and it’s always clean, well-staffed, and fast.

One day I actually saw Aryan on site helping out behind the counter during a rush—super rare these days. He wasn’t just managing from the back; he was greeting customers, checking in with staff.“

“This review is all for Sheila, who works at this location. I visited the evening of 12/30/25 and she was so kind and attentive, even though I was going through the drive thru! The location was out of the taco salad, but she kindly recommended the apple pecan. I’ve never had such great service in the drive thru of any restaurant. Once I got to the window, she was all smiles. This location is lucky to have her! I will be back just due to this amazing service.“

“Honestly the best experience I've had at a fast food place; the interior is really nice, the lighting is very decorative and there is plenty of space to walk around, it doesn't feel too tight and it still leaves plenty of seating. Not to mention the cleanliness of the area itself, not a spot left on the tables, the floor, the seats, the entire building is spotless.

No complaints regarding the service whatsoever, the food was ready sooner than expected and was received without any trouble.

As for the food, the flavor of the food wasn't anything mindblowing, but the quality was definitely worth noting. Their burgers looked like they do in the commercials, they were assembled neatly, and what shocked me the most, the chicken in the chicken sandwich was actually crispy. The fries were alright, the tacos were decent, nothing was really below standards in any way.

For the amount we paid for the meal, the quality of the food was incredible. We paid 17 dollars for 4 burgers, 4 tacos, and 4 fries, which is LESS than what you'd spend at McDonald's for significantly less food. I strongly suggest you come here if you're hungry and on a budget.“

“I had breakfast here today and let me tell you they have the best sausage egg and cheese biscuit. The biscuit was soft and fluffy I usually need jelly but I didn’t even need jelly it was soft delicious!!! ? my new favorite breakfast spot for sure. Their Caesar salad is also my go to. The Caesar salad never misses has this tangy spicy flavor I mean chefs kiss for a fast food chain lol“

“A pretty standard, clean, and efficient enough McDonald's. Like most they've converted to the ordering kiosks which makes me feel old and sad, but such is life.

This particular location is sort of... Dark and a little sad? That's the only memorable distinction between it and the thousand other McDonald's just like it.“
