Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine!“

“Food is decent. I mainly get the large shrimp and chips because they are huge and always cooked perfectly. I feel like the batter doesn't have a lot of seasoning but the natural flavor of the shrimp makes up for it. I have tried the fish and chips before and the lack of seasoning in the batter works better with the shrimp in my opinion. I wasn't a fan of the flavor of the fish. They give a lot of fries but they also need salt which can be added to your liking. If not for the large shrimp and chips this would probably get a 3 but the shrimp brings it up to a 4.“

“This place is ten minutes from my house but the Angeleno along us is the one who found it and invited us there! Nice outdoor seating if you don’t want to be indoors; the cute menu includes vegetarian options and nice cocktails (though not poured deep); we lived our options. I got the impossible taco salad (Impossible crumbles replaced regular hamburger taco meat); my son had a Pepperoni flatbread; he pointed out to us that (per the menu)a dollar from every sale of that pizza goes to children’s charities. Gotta like a place that gives back! 💙 The Reuben was phenomenal. The wait staff was pleasant, courteous, and cheerful. We will be back!“

“OMG! Have been looking for a proper Japanese izakaya restaurant in Ventura County for 4 years. By far! This place kicks ass! Amazing authentic, clean, fresh rolls, broths, ramen, salads, beer, and sake! At the most reasonable prices! Especially for happy hour EVERY DAY 5-7pm. Great friendly service and a truly cozy izakaya-style ambience. Fantastic! I recommend the Dassai sake; pair the ginger cucumber salad with crispy baby octopus!! Then the spicy tuna and spicy brisket open hand rolls and finish with the Asian favorite Spicy Nagoya bone broth. 💯“

“I went to Sharkys with my 13wk old puppy to start practicing sitting nicely at a restaurant. I carried him in to pick up, and asked if there is an option to have the food brought outside (I dont want to be that rule breaker, bringing in pets that are not service dogs) The server was really sweet and explained, I just have to order to eat in, and they will find me outside. PS - he did great!“

“Absolutely fantastic sushi experience! The food was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and everything we ordered was delicious. The quality of the fish really stood out, and the menu had a great variety of creative rolls and classic favorites.

The service was excellent, friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. The atmosphere was also great for both a casual dinner and a nice night out.

The owner came to our table and was incredibly personable and fantastic. Their warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable.

“Honestly one of the best spots Ive been to in a while. The fish tacos were straight up perfect, the batter was light and not greasy at all. Service was super chill and friendly, they made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. Sat outside and the weather was just right, not too hot or cold. Drinks were strong and they didnt water them down like some places do. My friends tried a few different things and nobody had a complaint. Already trying to figure out when I can go back.“

“I come to this place every Friday and that is not an exaggeration, I absolutely love this place. Everything on the regular and specials menu is amazing and I’m always finding something new. The margaritas are always terrific and Jordan, the bartender/unofficial face if Los Agaves, is super nice and often times knows my family’s drink/food order even before we do.

Also, the manager, Carlos, always does a great job taking care of all the tables, checking in occasionally throughout the meal.

I cannot recommend this place and the molcajete sauce enough.“

“This place is absolutely amazing. When I first learned about it I tried it out and was obsessed. Since then I’ve moved to the Pacific Northwest, moved back, and moved to the southwest. Every time I’m back in town I make sure to eat here at least twice. Trust me, most other states don’t have Mediterranean food like this. The portions are very generous and one plate is normally two meals for me. Their toum (Lebanese garlic sauce) is incredible. It’s so good in fact that every time I’m in there, customers literally argue with the cashier to get more. It’s simple, if you specify how many side of toum you want, they will sell it to you. I’ve ordered ten sides and as long as you pay for it, it’s yours. Their hummus is also really delicious. I always get the spicy shawarma but anything there is good. I recommend this location because you can sit outside near the fountain but it’s always just as good when you order to-go.“
