“Lure Fish House is easily one of my favorite spots. The ambiance is amazing. Whether you're there for a date night, dinner with friends, or just looking for a great seafood experience, the atmosphere never disappoints.

My go-to dishes are the Tequila Lime Shrimp Pasta and the Charbroiled Oysters. The pasta is packed with flavor and perfectly cooked, while the oysters are an absolute must-try. Everything tastes fresh and is prepared with care.

“OMG! Have been looking for a proper Japanese izakaya restaurant in Ventura County for 4 years. By far! This place kicks ass! Amazing authentic, clean, fresh rolls, broths, ramen, salads, beer, and sake! At the most reasonable prices! Especially for happy hour EVERY DAY 5-7pm. Great friendly service and a truly cozy izakaya-style ambience. Fantastic! I recommend the Dassai sake; pair the ginger cucumber salad with crispy baby octopus!! Then the spicy tuna and spicy brisket open hand rolls and finish with the Asian favorite Spicy Nagoya bone broth. 💯“

Nice outdoor seating if you don’t want to be indoors; the cute menu includes vegetarian options and nice cocktails (though not poured deep); we lived our options. I got the impossible taco salad (Impossible crumbles replaced regular hamburger taco meat); my son had a Pepperoni flatbread; he pointed out to us that (per the menu)a dollar from every sale of that pizza goes to children’s charities. “I went to Sharkys with my 13wk old puppy to start practicing sitting nicely at a restaurant. I carried him in to pick up, and asked if there is an option to have the food brought outside (I dont want to be that rule breaker, bringing in pets that are not service dogs) The server was really sweet and explained, I just have to order to eat in, and they will find me outside. PS - he did great!“

Only ever ordered for pickup, not really a sit down type of place though you could if you so choose
As for the pickup time they give you, always on point. Kebab making is a true skill, but these guys have it down to the minute. When they say pickup at 735, it’ll be ready. So clutch to find a reliable spot for large orders when family coming over

“As a typical beautiful day in our gorgeous state of California and the city of Westlake Village at the promenade right at the entrance coming off Hillcrest and Westlake BLVD is a unique and very tasteful to the pocket and your tummy is a place called Sweetgreens. I am hands down without a doubt OBSESSED. It’s so delicious and quite refreshing to know in this day and age you can get a sensible meal that is about the same price as a fast food joint for a burger, fries and a beverage combo. But at Sweetgreens you are getting a meal prepared right in front of you with almost everything freshly diced, chopped, sliced or ready to serve and eat. They have four different flavors of fresh fruit beverages that are all out of this world Yums to the ooze tums and will definitely satisfy your taste buds. If you are a healthy eater or not, you will want to make this place a destination to visit. You will really find it difficult not to enjoy it.“
