OMG! Have been looking for a proper Japanese izakaya restaurant in Ventura County for 4 years. By far! This place kicks ass! Amazing authentic, clean, fresh rolls, broths, ramen, salads, beer, and sake! At the most reasonable prices! Especially for happy hour EVERY DAY 5-7pm. Great friendly service and a truly cozy izakaya-style ambience. Fantastic! I recommend the Dassai sake; pair the ginger cucumber salad with crispy baby octopus!! An absolute must if you’re in the Conejo Valley area!
Ox Bone Ramen in Westlake Village has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re anywhere near Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, or the Conejo Valley, do yourself a favor and make a reservation.
