They recently added catering, and as a local realtor, I love having this local gem cater my broker open houses. The salads and sandwiches are always a huge hit.

Antonio Sessa's Made in Italy was a delightful surprise. Every bite transported me back to Italy. “Where to begin… went there for my son wedding rehearsal dinner 22 of us. I’m full blooded Italian don’t really care for Italian food. This place absolutely blew my mind. My family’s mind absolutely incredible. Atmosphere was amazing. We sat in a private back room plenty of space beautiful wine racks in the room made it feel very old-school Italian. The food was absolutely unbelievable. I don’t care for pasta at all, and I was blown away eight all three of the second course pasta which included gnocchi, rigatoni, and mushroom raviolis. The gnocchi 10 times better than my aunt and grandmother’s with a green pesto sauce. absolutely unbelievable. Chicken piccata, New York sliced steak and the Bronzino give it 10 stars. But what absolutely blew my mind was the Customer Service Diego the manager treated us like Rock stars. The other two waiters forgot their name sorry by far. The best Customer Service that I’ve ever had 59 years on this planet. It is an absolute must specially if you like Italian food the atmosphere was beautiful patio was incredible though we did not sit in the patio. I’d give it 15 stars instead of five. It is an absolute must visit. You will not be disappointed.”

“Have dined at Pearl District many times over the years for special occasions or just a nice evening out. It's always consistently delivered in great customer service and quality food. Offers great drink options and also an extensive wine list (by the glass or bottle). Some of the standout dishes are the "pan roasted wild mushrooms", "braised short ribs", filet mignon & branzino. For dessert the "wonder bar" is a must!”

I got just two patties with cheese. I went back and asked for the notions and says I had to pay extra for. I got two sauce packets, lettuce and tomato in a packet then the guy brought me a packet with onions. All Al a cart. This was the first time this happened. I have had to eat off a napkin or the paper packets.”

“I had an amazing experience at Ox Bone Ramen and it absolutely deserves five stars. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive.

The standout for me was the Ox Shoyu—it’s incredibly delicious, hearty, and deeply satisfying, yet surprisingly light in flavor. The broth is clearly slow-simmered with care, delivering rich umami without feeling heavy. Every bite felt balanced and comforting.

Their menu has something for everyone, whether you’re into bold options like Ox Fire Miso or prefer something classic like Tonkotsu or Tsukemen. I also loved that they offer great options beyond ramen, including rice bowls and crispy Japanese fried chicken.

One thing that really impressed me was their Happy Hour menu—fantastic value with great selections that make it easy to try a little bit of everything. To top it off, I highly recommend pairing your meal with the Echigo Koshihikari and their House Sake—both complemented the flavors perfectly and elevated the entire experience.

“This place is ten minutes from my house but the Angeleno along us is the one who found it and invited us there! Nice outdoor seating if you don’t want to be indoors; the cute menu includes vegetarian options and nice cocktails (though not poured deep); we lived our options. I got the impossible taco salad (Impossible crumbles replaced regular hamburger taco meat); my son had a Pepperoni flatbread; he pointed out to us that (per the menu)a dollar from every sale of that pizza goes to children’s charities. Gotta like a place that gives back! 💙 The Reuben was phenomenal. The wait staff was pleasant, courteous, and cheerful. We will be back!”

I carried him in to pick up, and asked if there is an option to have the food brought outside (I dont want to be that rule breaker, bringing in pets that are not service dogs) The server was really sweet and explained, I just have to order to eat in, and they will find me outside. This place is now at the top of my list too in Westlake. Hard to find a great sandwhich places and I finally did. The flavors, the Variety of Sandwhiches along with holiday sandwiches to choose from. In this case Thanksgiving sandwhich was available for a limited time but it was so yummy. A place you dont want to miss visiting for sure.”
