“A little heavy with the salt on the Mahi Mahi selection but overall excellent evening. Just as they handled a large party for us a few months ago, their attention to our needs was most appreciated. Unlike many restaurants, we never had to ask for water.“

“I went to Sharkys with my 13wk old puppy to start practicing sitting nicely at a restaurant. I carried him in to pick up, and asked if there is an option to have the food brought outside (I dont want to be that rule breaker, bringing in pets that are not service dogs) The server was really sweet and explained, I just have to order to eat in, and they will find me outside. PS - he did great!“

“It has been awhile since I shopped at Sweet Arleen's. I drove by and seeing the store reminded me I needed something for my daughter-in-laws birthday. She loves Red Velvet cake so I picked up a half dozen cupcakes including Red Velvet. Turned out to be the perfect surprise. She loved everything about the cupcake. Moist with a great frosting. Now it is Mother's Day so I am heading over to Sweet Arleen's for more tasty treats. Saved the day, thanks.“

“Para el dueño: Cual es su regla de regreso cuando se vende un producto que está echado a perder? El Viernes 10/21 compramos comida como muchas veces ya que somos clientes desde hace 4 años. Uno de los productos fue una jaiba imitación, la pedimos en la carnicería y no la dieron en una bolsa, al llegar a casa nos dimos cuenta que estaba echada a perder, no pensamos que fuera un problema, nunca nos había pasado y este producto no es de su tienda solo lo revenden. Hablamos a la tienda y les informamos de lo qué pasó, la joven nos dijo que lo lleváramos para de nos devolvieran el dinero. La tienda cierra a las 8 y no pudimos. Al siguiente día fuimos y la joven que estaba según ella de manager, se porto súper grosera, nos gritó que porque no nos habíamos fijado en la fecha de caducidad, que porque nos habíamos esperado hasta el siguiente día y después nos aventó el dinero y nos dijo que nos fuéramos. Esta actitud es inaceptable, dudo que el dueño quiera sepa o esté de acuerdo con la actitud de esta mujer. No volveremos a esta tienda y haremos todo lo posible para que le gente sepa de esto y ya no compren aquí.“

“yeah this place was pretty great. honestly we kept going back multiple times on our trip becuase we couldnt get enough of the gnocchi, it was soft and melt in your mouth but still had texture somehow. the outdoor seating area has that casual vibe, it never felt super rushed or anything like that, the service was friendly which ALOT of fancy places mess up in my experiance you walk in and feel judged. i am DEFINATELY going back next time im in town even if its totally out of the way for me its worth the drive.“

“This is probably the best sushi in the conejo valley. It is sooooo good!!!!! Amazing food, amazing staff and phenomenal chefs. We came in as a party of 6, the restaurant was packed and they put together a table for us in just a few minutes. Everyone was so nice, the chef had great recommendations and even came to check on us and see if we liked everything. I can’t say enough good things about this place and have been craving it ever since!! 10/10“

“We liked it so much we had to go two days in a row. Service was good especially the bar staff on the patio. First day, hubby had the burger…amazing and I had the Tortilla salad…wow!! The white iced tea was refreshing. The second day we shared the crab cakes and the Lobster sliders and those can’t be beat!! The mimosas were delicious because they fresh squeeze the orange juice every morning. If we lived closer this would be a spot we would frequent! It is a must if you are at the Seaport Village in San Diego!!“

I have been going here (Simi) for over three years, and I have family in Ventura, and found the Ventura location near the Ventura Government Center, also the same quality of food and staff there. “The pizza sauce was generously and evenly spread throughout the pizza - same with the added cheese and mushrooms. The additions are not cheap at $4 each, but the amount is generous. The pizza was ready when they said it would be. The taste is better than 80% of the others and pricing is in line with what others charge. The sauce is a bit salty and does not explode with taste of tomato and garlic in ones mouth, but it is in very good proportion to the crust and cheese, making for a very good pizza!

August 2026 Tried a large, thin crust pizza with mushrooms. Again, cheese was generous and the pizza had good balance. The tomato sauce is not the best, but it not the worst either. The mushroom portions were generous and huge. Make that HUGE! Overall a very good pizza for the money.“

“Had these bundt cakes at a birthday party on Saturday evening and they were fantastic. I tried the vanilla, red velvet, and chocolate. All were really good. I especially liked the chocolate one. Rich chocolate flavor, moist, with just the right amount of frosting. I appreciate that the frosting wasn't too sweet so that the flavors weren't overpowered. Lots of attention to all details made for outstanding results.“
