“We ordered a 1/2 sheet two layer chocolate cake with strawberry & peach mousse filling for a graduation party to feed 37 guests. The cake looked stunning and all of us enjoyed the wonderful flavor. Moist and delicious. Highly recommend them for any event or family gathering. Since they are no longer in Moorpark, they deliver to any location.“

“This is my favorite restaurant ever since I discovered it. The food is almost uniformly excellent. I took a chance on the swordfish this time, even though I gave up on ordering it in restaurants decades ago since they always overcook it, and it was perfect. We told them beforehand we were celebrating a birthday, and they brought out a plate of several little desserts, artistically arranged. And since they cancelled my reservation a couple of weeks ago due to having to make some kind of repairs, they started the meal with free bruchetta. On all days except Friday and Saturday, there's free corkage. But the best thing about it is the lovely ambiance and friendliness of the entire staff. I can't praise this place highly enough.“
“If you have yet to try Historia Bakery Café in Thousand Oaks, you're missing out on some truly great coffee creations. The beans are perfectly roasted, and unusual menu items like Los Cubano (double shot with brown sugar and crema) and the Blueberry Lavender Latte are a real treat. Don't forget the actual treats, though. Omfg, the pastries. All are, in a word, incredible. The lemon bars are subtly sweet/tart, not overpowering, and the croissant creations are expertly flaky. Also fantastic are the breakfast sandwiches. All of this is enough to keep us coming back, but today we spent some time chatting with Robyn, the delightful proprietress. This amazing woman works 7 DAYS A WEEK, and her commitment shows in the warm atmosphere and truly spectacular food and bevs. Run, do not walk, to check out Historia! “Carrara’s is one of my favorite places to go to! It’s one of the most authentic Italian cafes I’ve been to out here. The coffee is so good and the pastries don’t just look pretty, but they’re actually delicious. Everyone who works here is so nice and goes above and beyond! I wish I knew everyone’s names but from going there as often as I do I can honestly say Tallin, Danica, Alir, Sarah and really just the whole staff is so sweet and they make you feel so welcomed! Alir makes some of the best lattes I’ve ever had and Tallin decorates the foam on the lattes and the desserts in a beautiful way! I love everything about this place and would highly recommend :)“
“Sharky's in Westlake is our go-to spot. We eat there AT LEAST twice a week and Mrs. Wendy is one of the nicest people who always takes care of our family. Our sons love coming in to visit Wendy and Nancy along with getting their favorite food. We can't wait until our next visit!“

Even when calling in an order for delivery you are treated like family, they take the time to know their customers and connect. Extremely friendly staff that always go above and beyond. “We went on a Sunday during the farmers market around ten AM. Our first time visiting. I ordered the cloud surfer coffee which tasted lovely and had the tuna sandwich. It tasted good but was dry. The fruit was excellent and the Tajin was a nice touch. My friend ordered the special berry toast which was slightly burnt. My sister ordered the scramble with no onions. It had to be remade because they included onion the first time. She's allergic. Most of the employees were thoughtful and kind. My sister burnt her mouth on her Chai. She told the employee with long blonde hair and glasses that the drinks are too hot and she got burned and the employees response was "yeah it's hot". Later she brought our other drinks to the table, and not only didn't greet us, but didn't even say which drink was which. She didn't say a word. Dropped the drinks and left. This is the type of employee to run your business into the ground. I wouldn't want her as my coworker either. I'm gonna give her the benefit of the doubt and say she was having a bad day. All the other employees were super helpful. I want to come back to try the tacos. Sitting outside is super nice. There's a QR code that you can order from and they bring your food to you. Super convenient. It is very busy at noon and parking is a mess due to the farmers market. Good for bike riders, families and yes you can bring your dog and sit outside. Thankful for this vegan cafe, despite the one person trying to ruin it for everyone else....“

“I love coming to this Presto Pasta Location in Simi Valley. I’m a delivery driver and I work in many cities but every time I’m in Simi I always save my appetite so I can stop here and get me a Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and a garden salad. “This place is AMAZING!!! I randomly saw this place and decided to get my mom some Persian almond macaroons and she absolutely LOVED IT!! We now go back every month or so to refill on some of our favorite snacks and have gotten to know the owner who is always super friendly. I didn’t really grow up with these types of sweets and I’m sad I missed out on this in my childhood but glad that I can make up for it now. Just seeing how nostalgic my mom feels when ordering chickpea, ghorabie, and Kolompeh, is very heartwarming! Thank you Fariba!!!“
“We got two lunch specials... The chicken parmigiana and the eggplant parmigiana. YUM! Both came with spaghetti w/marinara sauce, a garlic knot, cans or fountain drinks (they have every selection) and a delicious fresh COLD salad. Dressing was great. When I got back home 10 minutes later, hot food was piping hot. May seem a little pricey for a lunch special ($16.99 and $15.99) but it's a GREAT deal because after lunch it's $22, no drink (worth it either way.) You get what you pay for. Sauce is excellent - tastes like my Italian Grandma spent hours over the stove. Takes me four or five hours to make a sauce that tastes like that. 10 out of 10. Just a touch of sweetness, exactly the way I love it. The chicken and eggplant and salad were great, seasoned just right. My first time here but I will definitely be back to try the pizza. Other reviewers called it a hole in the wall, but I thought it was very nice and clean with great "pizza place" vibe. Other reviewers didn't like the servers, but mine (young man) was very nice and attentive. So all in all, we got two huge meals, which were actually equal to four meals - all for under $35 including drinks, salad, and rolls. Can't wait to try the pizza!!! Kudos to the owners!“

“This is a nice cafe inside of Four Seasons. It's in a nice area. Only bad thing is parking, unless you do valet - which is not ideal if you are just ordering a coffee and a pastry and leaving. The service was quick and friendly each time I went (2x on the same day). The drinks are good and reasonably priced. The chocolate croissant was good. I would try it again when I am in the area.“

It seems that a lot of the staff and the cooks stay around and the result is they're running a pretty tight system That combined with Sharkeys's quality ingredients makes for some pretty good eating the restaurant is clean and efficient and the ambience is decent The staff is always friendly but hustling all of the proteins are of a very good quality they always get a couple of special requests from me on my giant sized, mixed up meal, and it usually comes out, correct. This is a good reliable option.“

“Located in a nondescript shopping center of Agoura Hills, CA (Hwy 101 & Kanan Rd), is a Chinese restaurant: Mandarin Lotus. They've been here since 1988! The food was delightful, the owners were welcoming, and we are already looking forward to our next visit! Dinner hours only. First visit? This is what our party of two tried and we didn't leave a morsel behind: -Mango Tango Rolls -Kelsey Grammer's Orange Chicken -Vegetable Fried Rice -Red Bean Sesame Balls (dessert) The plating of each dish was thoughtful and lovely. The combination of fresh ingredients, sweet & savory flavors, and non-greasy entrees, piqued our tastebuds and had our appetites yearning to try more. For our next visit, we have our eyes set on ordering a tofu dish, wonton soup, and the spicy tequila shrimp. I would consider this a gourmet Chinese fusion restaurant which should appeal to a diverse set of tastebuds. The menu is pretty extensive, which also includes a full page of vegan options and unique spice combinations we are not familiar with, but open to try. The average price per entree is ~$25. Customer service was wonderful! Thank you to the most welcoming host and owner, Kim, and to Chef Chang, for the delightful dinner!“

“This is a hole in the wall spot in the back left side of the supermarket when you walk in. Most of their food is on display and you see them make it. I've had the asada, chicken and pork for tacos and burritos. Authentic and portions are generous. Only down side is only seating is outside with a few tables. I always get it to go so no problem for me. Prices used to be good prior to pandemic but what place hasn't raised their prices. Highly recommend to give this place a try and you can pick up all your your mexican spices/goods you can't find at an Albertsons.“

Tried their Single slice pepperoni combo for less than $7, which included a drink! You can't beat that price! The slice was cooked to perfection! “Took some older ladies from my neighborhood for lunch on a day it was raining. Pizza Cookery had fresh food and marvelous service. In fact when our server found out that 2 of us had birthday’s she gave us a free dessert and we had already paid and we’re getting ready to leave. What a fun day to celebrate there. Needs a little redecorating/update and I had a rough time finding it as it’s stuck in an office park next door to a Hotel. But totally worth the time!! A couple of people, including the mother-to-be, have Celiac (cannot have wheat, barley or rye) and wanted to make sure this was a gluten free event so they wouldn't have to worry about eating the wrong thing or cross-contamination.
