“I eat Lady Fortunes' treats regularly, and I've always had a great experience. My favorites are the fortune cookies and the brownies—they're delicious with a cup of tea. “My absolute new favorite restaurant! We were visiting family in LA from Chicago and they took us here, I ended up going three times in my one week visit. Cheese stuffed zaatar and the sojouk kachopuri were my favorite and the garlic chicken wrap was my husbands. Honestly everything we had was delicious and the kids kept asking for the pepperoni pizza and mini pizzas.“

I would also like to recognize the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The ladies at the counter always greet customers with a smile, are happy to help with recommendations, and create a genuinely pleasant atmosphere. The smoothies are delicious and the food is even better. They understand flavor! As someone who enjoys meat, surprisingly one of my FAVORITE wraps is their hummus avocado sprouts wrap. It has the right balance of veggies and their lemon dressing is to die for!!!“

“Inside, there is only room to order food and buy bread. Their cinnamon roll is pretty good, but served cold. Their everything cookie is delicious. There is ample seating outdoors for brunch, and servers are nice. The breakfast sandwich is good, and their standouts are shakshuka (absolutely delicious!) and the chai latte. Their vanilla latte is also well bodied and just sweet enough.“

“The description of Ike's to me made it sound like Fat Sal's and I was excited. Truth of the matter is Ike's holds its own, and it didn't disappoint. It has a great menu mixed with Meat and Veggie options. The Mrs. and I split and highly recommend the Captain Carl and the Meatless Mike (I concur "best vegan meatball in America", and Our 3 y/o gives the grilled cheese 👍👍. Our 9y/o swears it was the best grilled cheese she ever had.“

“I’m so happy Froggy’s reopened - it’s always been my favorite patio in LA! I love all the hummingbirds and looking at nature - I feel I’m far away from the City/Valley - it’s so relaxing! The salmon tacos are awesome and freshly made guacamole doesn’t disappoint 👍🏻 The tortillas are lovingly made by hand and are fresh. One of the most soulful places in Los Angeles- great little bar and historic background. DONT go as I love the cozy authentic vibe - just kidding - I highly recommend this restaurant It would make a great venue for special occasions (this is unsolicited - I just can’t rave enough and want them to flourish- Covid was tough on them like many businesses) Lastly, everyone working there are so friendly and accommodating 5 stars ⭐️😄“

There’s ample parking, the cafe is small and seating is tight but I like the idea of going into a dining establishment that’s quaint and cozy, and I like how the owner puts out games on the table, it makes it feel like you’re at home. My only concern is that the windows are covered with advertisement photos which makes it look like the cafe is closed, it blocks the natural sunlight from coming in, and I personally like to look out the window and now I can barely see what’s happening on the outside. Overall, this place is amazing and the food is good.“

“This location has a great staff, they work well together and the food tastes hot and fresh. But the negatives are that it's difficult to find parking when the lot is full. It's a very busy location with many eateries and shops. Plus this store is small. They were busy and it felt very cramped. Also there aren't many tables for seniors or the disabled. There are only two available. The rest of the tables are too high and have stools. Not good for someone with bad knees, like myself.“

“Menchie's Frozen yogurt is a great treat. I like that it has no preservatives and no additives. It has a great variety of flavors. I'm so glad I found a good frozen yogurt place. I also love the friendly staff.“

“Second time at Inn of the Seventh Ray. First time eating. Will 100% be back to dine again. Chris was our server and picked out a perfect wine pairing for each of our courses. “These guys hit all the bases: over the past three years I’ve had their pizza (best in the valley in my opinion as far as taste, fresh ingredients (like, actual chopped in house vegetables, quality meat, and the crust reminds me of NY Style with an LA spin. Just go with it 😆

Their pastas are just as good - fresh and most importantly reheat-able the next day and just as good and consistent, and not just a bowl of nasty grease. Sauce stays… saucy.

I’ve had their mozzarella sticks, calzones, pretty much everything except the salads. (One of these days, I swear!)

Tonight I ordered the specialty slice, which is always made fresh and a MILLION times better than any place that just has their pizzas hanging out under the heat lamp for god knows how long.

It’s just like a fresh pizza. Just instead of a circle, it’s a gigantic slice.

,I also tried their NY Steak Sub. I’ll just say the pictures definitely do it justice! If anything it’s even better “in person” - humongous, and with more than a generous amount of meat and perfect balance of cheese peppers onions and whatever else you wanna add.
