“I’m so happy Froggy’s reopened - it’s always been my favorite patio in LA! I love all the hummingbirds and looking at nature - I feel I’m far away from the City/Valley - it’s so relaxing! The salmon tacos are awesome and freshly made guacamole doesn’t disappoint 👍🏻 The tortillas are lovingly made by hand and are fresh. One of the most soulful places in Los Angeles- great little bar and historic background. DONT go as I love the cozy authentic vibe - just kidding - I highly recommend this restaurant It would make a great venue for special occasions (this is unsolicited - I just can’t rave enough and want them to flourish- Covid was tough on them like many businesses) Lastly, everyone working there are so friendly and accommodating 5 stars ⭐️😄“

I would also like to recognize the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The ladies at the counter always greet customers with a smile, are happy to help with recommendations, and create a genuinely pleasant atmosphere. Their positive attitude and excellent customer service make people want to come back.

“Food is a 4 star but the atmosphere and service were 5 stars. Group of us ordered most of the menu and everything was good but not great. Everything just lacked that punch of flavor but the standouts were the bruschetta and the ribeye with chimichurri were my favorites.“

“I was honestly blown away by how good their gluten-free cookies are. As someone who’s gluten-free, it’s rare to find cookies that actually taste like the real thing, soft, flavorful, and not overly dry or crumbly. These were easily the best gluten-free cookies I’ve ever had.“

“Truly the best tasting non-dairy ice cream I’ve ever had! Can’t choose a favorite flavor…they are all so delicious! Simple, healthy but delicious ingredients without the gums or other fillers that make other non-dairy ice creams take a toll on your body. And so many new flavors all the time. Really amazed how delicious they each are— pure alchemy! (Hope they expand locations to Venice.)“

I tried BEYOND BURGER and it was good, not great but liked it overall. My friends tried protein plate, fish and taco etc and everyone loved the food
I also had tequila based cocktail which was nice

“We liked it so much we had to go two days in a row. Service was good especially the bar staff on the patio. First day, hubby had the burger…amazing and I had the Tortilla salad…wow!! The white iced tea was refreshing. The second day we shared the crab cakes and the Lobster sliders and those can’t be beat!! The mimosas were delicious because they fresh squeeze the orange juice every morning. If we lived closer this would be a spot we would frequent! It is a must if you are at the Seaport Village in San Diego!!“

It has the right balance of veggies and their lemon dressing is to die for!!!“

“Inside, there is only room to order food and buy bread. Their cinnamon roll is pretty good, but served cold. Their everything cookie is delicious. There is ample seating outdoors for brunch, and servers are nice. The breakfast sandwich is good, and their standouts are shakshuka (absolutely delicious!) and the chai latte. Their vanilla latte is also well bodied and just sweet enough.“

“We ordered the Tuscan flatbread, baked lasagna, a Paloma and a God Father. The cocktails were excellent.

The flat bread was a good balance of sauce, cheese olives, tomatoes and onion.

As always, the baked Brussels sprouts and rosemary potatoes were delicious.

The baked lasagna did not disappoint. The sauce was superb and the lasagna was so frigging good!

This place is a must on a date night or a good family meal.“

Mimi is a warm, consummate professional who can handle anything, events-wise, and the space is versatile for any kind of casual and convivial gathering. This place is one of my favorite “third spaces” for working when I need a change of environment from the home office (there are tables that overlook the pool), painting (I’m a huge fan of the paint and sip classes) or just hanging out. Neighbors can consider it a great resource for meals and snacks off the beach (and anytime), entertaining for occasions and even just to grab a bottle of wine or party-food supplies for friends who drop by. “Many options to choose from, love that the food is gluten free, the protein pancakes are amazing and moist, the breakfast sausages are tasty, crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside, and the staff is super friendly. There’s ample parking, the cafe is small and seating is tight but I like the idea of going into a dining establishment that’s quaint and cozy, and I like how the owner puts out games on the table, it makes it feel like you’re at home. My only concern is that the windows are covered with advertisement photos which makes it look like the cafe is closed, it blocks the natural sunlight from coming in, and I personally like to look out the window and now I can barely see what’s happening on the outside. Overall, this place is amazing and the food is good.“

“Beautifully designed space and fresh healthy ingredients! As a vegan I appreciate the yummy, healthy (not fried) tofu and all the veggie options! Easy pickup near my gym so will be back for sure on days when I’m too time crunched to cook! Ordered for pick up, it was ready very fast, but stayed to eat at the lovely tables by the windows. You could also sit outside on the nice street tables.“

Family-owned Primo Passo Coffee is located in the cutest part of Santa Monica, where it’s just close enough to get your tan on at the beach or get your shop on at the Third Street Promenade. Fun sized coffee and teas, an assortment of pastries and sandwiches, and a relaxingly pleasant overall atmosphere are all you need to choose Primo over the Starbucks across the street. My little Carmelo was the daintiest and perfect post-hangover pick me up, and even just sitting in the shop uplifted my mood in an instant. And if you’re a fan of Instagram-ing your coffee sesh, their baristas will do latte art for every order! Right when you walk into Primo Passo Coffee, you will be greeted with friendly smiles, the aroma of fresh roasted coffee, and warm sun shining through large, perfectly placed windows. Seating options ranging from bistro style tables to barstools to plush benches along the wall, any sized party can come in and enjoy a quick (or long) caffeine pick-me-up. I especially noticed that a lot of people come here to read or write (even on a collaboration aspect), so maybe one day we’ll learn that the next great novelist or screenwriter came here to work on their passion project.“
