“I’m so happy Froggy’s reopened - it’s always been my favorite patio in LA! I love all the hummingbirds and looking at nature - I feel I’m far away from the City/Valley - it’s so relaxing! The salmon tacos are awesome and freshly made guacamole doesn’t disappoint 👍🏻 The tortillas are lovingly made by hand and are fresh. One of the most soulful places in Los Angeles- great little bar and historic background. DONT go as I love the cozy authentic vibe - just kidding - I highly recommend this restaurant It would make a great venue for special occasions (this is unsolicited - I just can’t rave enough and want them to flourish- Covid was tough on them like many businesses) Lastly, everyone working there are so friendly and accommodating 5 stars ⭐️😄“

“Second time at Inn of the Seventh Ray. First time eating. Will 100% be back to dine again. Chris was our server and picked out a perfect wine pairing for each of our courses. We had the cheese plate, Cesar salad, rigatoni, and filet. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly, and presented with care. I cant recommend this place enough. “Food is a 4 star but the atmosphere and service were 5 stars. Group of us ordered most of the menu and everything was good but not great. Everything just lacked that punch of flavor but the standouts were the bruschetta and the ribeye with chimichurri were my favorites.“

The staff handled the mistake very professionally and apologized immediately. They quickly brought us the correct order, and the service throughout the evening was friendly and attentive. “I was honestly blown away by how good their gluten-free cookies are. As someone who’s gluten-free, it’s rare to find cookies that actually taste like the real thing, soft, flavorful, and not overly dry or crumbly. These were easily the best gluten-free cookies I’ve ever had.“

“I had such a wonderful meal at this spot in Sherman Oaks. Everything arrived at the table looking beautiful, especially the way the spring rolls and other dishes were presented on top of those crispy rice noodles.

The food was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The portion sizes were perfect for sharing, and I really enjoyed the combination of textures in every bite. I will definitely be back soon.“

I tried BEYOND BURGER and it was good, not great but liked it overall. My friends tried protein plate, fish and taco etc and everyone loved the food
I also had tequila based cocktail which was nice

“Truly the best tasting non-dairy ice cream I’ve ever had! Can’t choose a favorite flavor…they are all so delicious! Simple, healthy but delicious ingredients without the gums or other fillers that make other non-dairy ice creams take a toll on your body. And so many new flavors all the time. Really amazed how delicious they each are— pure alchemy! (Hope they expand locations to Venice.)“

I got the tuna sandwich, and it was loaded with crisp veggies and sprouts, which gave it the perfect crunch and made it feel really balanced instead of heavy. The fries deserve their own shoutout they came out hot, crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and were impossible to stop eating. “We liked it so much we had to go two days in a row. Service was good especially the bar staff on the patio. First day, hubby had the burger…amazing and I had the Tortilla salad…wow!! The white iced tea was refreshing. The second day we shared the crab cakes and the Lobster sliders and those can’t be beat!! The mimosas were delicious because they fresh squeeze the orange juice every morning. If we lived closer this would be a spot we would frequent! It is a must if you are at the Seaport Village in San Diego!!“

“Inside, there is only room to order food and buy bread. Their cinnamon roll is pretty good, but served cold. Their everything cookie is delicious. There is ample seating outdoors for brunch, and servers are nice. The breakfast sandwich is good, and their standouts are shakshuka (absolutely delicious!) and the chai latte. Their vanilla latte is also well bodied and just sweet enough.“

“Hi I love this cafe - the food is healthy, tasty and wide-ranging in cuisines, and the people, Mimi and Justin, make it feel like another home. Mimi is a warm, consummate professional who can handle anything, events-wise, and the space is versatile for any kind of casual and convivial gathering. This place is one of my favorite “third spaces” for working when I need a change of environment from the home office (there are tables that overlook the pool), painting (I’m a huge fan of the paint and sip classes) or just hanging out. Neighbors can consider it a great resource for meals and snacks off the beach (and anytime), entertaining for occasions and even just to grab a bottle of wine or party-food supplies for friends who drop by. Highly recommend“

the food is super well portioned and lots and lots of veggies, which has been a pretty rare experience for me at most vegan Asian restaurants.

staff is friendly, even when swamped.

the customers are nice, which sounds weird to say but sometimes the crowd at restaurants (especially vegan) feels weird and pretentious or just icky.

their papaya salad is my favourite in LA. It's not too sweet and it's a really really good portion. super fresh. flavoured so good, and if you ask for it to be spicy they don't joke back :)

they sell little plant cuttings of bamboo and other cute home items for fair prices.

Family-owned Primo Passo Coffee is located in the cutest part of Santa Monica, where it’s just close enough to get your tan on at the beach or get your shop on at the Third Street Promenade. Fun sized coffee and teas, an assortment of pastries and sandwiches, and a relaxingly pleasant overall atmosphere are all you need to choose Primo over the Starbucks across the street. My little Carmelo was the daintiest and perfect post-hangover pick me up, and even just sitting in the shop uplifted my mood in an instant. And if you’re a fan of Instagram-ing your coffee sesh, their baristas will do latte art for every order! Right when you walk into Primo Passo Coffee, you will be greeted with friendly smiles, the aroma of fresh roasted coffee, and warm sun shining through large, perfectly placed windows. Seating options ranging from bistro style tables to barstools to plush benches along the wall, any sized party can come in and enjoy a quick (or long) caffeine pick-me-up. I especially noticed that a lot of people come here to read or write (even on a collaboration aspect), so maybe one day we’ll learn that the next great novelist or screenwriter came here to work on their passion project.“
