“I attended a private wedding today at the Inn of the Seventh Ray. The celebration included a bar and live music as part of the ceremony. I won't comment on the food (which was a wonderful catered buffet menu), but the venue and atmosphere were absolutely delightful. The reception area was separated from the main restaurant, and was outside alongside a gently flowing stream which was a perfect setting for a celebration. The location is perfect for a smaller occasion (there were 8 tables seating 8 at each table), and it was the perfect setting for a party or event for about 60 to 80 people.
I will definitely return to try the restaurant's own menu in the near future!“

“The best place for an incredible night out in LA!

As soon as we parked the smell of the outdoor grill hit us. We knew we were in for something special.

We were sat immediately with a reservation, and had the best service. Mike was our waiter and was everything you want in a server and more. He was present but not overly so, he knew his wines well, and was clearly very passionate about the food. He’s service absolutely made our night!

The food was the only thing that overshadowed Mike’s excellence, every bite was divine.

We shared the hummus toast, zucchini, Japanese, sweet potato, Shishito peppers. And for mains enjoyed a chicken skewer, lamb chops, and ribeye.

The lamb was seasoned and cooked perfectly, being my best bite of the night, but the chicken skewer won the hearts of the larger group.

We finished off with their chocolate cake which was perfectly gooey in the center.

There is so much more I would come back for. The atmosphere was just spectacular! Beautiful outdoor seating area, suitable for larger groups or small tables. Good music and great vibes.

All in all I’m just upset that I didn’t come try this place sooner. Definitely going to be a staple of mine moving forward.

“This is my go-to spot with my cousin and some girlfriends. We usually get the mushroom pizza and the garlic bread knot. The drinks are always great (we alternate between their cocktails and the wines). We especially love the outdoor patio area—the ambiance is nice and relaxed. It's a spot that we will definitely come back to again and again.“

“I was honestly blown away by how good their gluten-free cookies are. As someone who’s gluten-free, it’s rare to find cookies that actually taste like the real thing, soft, flavorful, and not overly dry or crumbly. These were easily the best gluten-free cookies I’ve ever had.“

“I've been several times now, and it is still my favorite restaurant when I visit family in Santa Monica. I've tried many restaurants in SM, from inexpensive to expensive. For me, Library has the best combination of unique atmosphere, friendly and efficient service, lively but casual vibe, excellent food, and good value. I love the Cowboy Burger, but everything we've tried is good. And good beer too.“

“They are my favorite Italian restaurant in LA!!! As someone who has lived here all my life, I’ve tried them all! I love all of their large selection of pasta sauces & You can definitely tell everything is made from scratch. Portion sizes are good. I love the pink Ragu Especially because most places only do a Ragu in a red sauce. My other favorite go to dinner is the grilled salmon with garlic spinach & Mashed potatoes. The potatoes are delicious enough on their own, where they don’t even need gravy. My favorite sauce for the grilled salmon is the piccata sauce. It is so lemony.& buttery with the capers giving it that little extra pop of freshness.
The staff always goes above & beyond too.

“We liked it so much we had to go two days in a row. Service was good especially the bar staff on the patio. First day, hubby had the burger…amazing and I had the Tortilla salad…wow!! The white iced tea was refreshing. The second day we shared the crab cakes and the Lobster sliders and those can’t be beat!! The mimosas were delicious because they fresh squeeze the orange juice every morning. If we lived closer this would be a spot we would frequent! It is a must if you are at the Seaport Village in San Diego!!“

“Inside, there is only room to order food and buy bread. Their cinnamon roll is pretty good, but served cold. Their everything cookie is delicious. There is ample seating outdoors for brunch, and servers are nice. The breakfast sandwich is good, and their standouts are shakshuka (absolutely delicious!) and the chai latte. Their vanilla latte is also well bodied and just sweet enough.“

“Hi I love this cafe - the food is healthy, tasty and wide-ranging in cuisines, and the people, Mimi and Justin, make it feel like another home. Mimi is a warm, consummate professional who can handle anything, events-wise, and the space is versatile for any kind of casual and convivial gathering. This place is one of my favorite “third spaces” for working when I need a change of environment from the home office (there are tables that overlook the pool), painting (I’m a huge fan of the paint and sip classes) or just hanging out. Neighbors can consider it a great resource for meals and snacks off the beach (and anytime), entertaining for occasions and even just to grab a bottle of wine or party-food supplies for friends who drop by. I ate my last flapjack warmed with nothing on it the next day; they’re that good! In fact, their pancake recipe is something I legitimately wish I had to emulate at home. Family-owned Primo Passo Coffee is located in the cutest part of Santa Monica, where it’s just close enough to get your tan on at the beach or get your shop on at the Third Street Promenade. Fun sized coffee and teas, an assortment of pastries and sandwiches, and a relaxingly pleasant overall atmosphere are all you need to choose Primo over the Starbucks across the street. My little Carmelo was the daintiest and perfect post-hangover pick me up, and even just sitting in the shop uplifted my mood in an instant. And if you’re a fan of Instagram-ing your coffee sesh, their baristas will do latte art for every order! Right when you walk into Primo Passo Coffee, you will be greeted with friendly smiles, the aroma of fresh roasted coffee, and warm sun shining through large, perfectly placed windows. Seating options ranging from bistro style tables to barstools to plush benches along the wall, any sized party can come in and enjoy a quick (or long) caffeine pick-me-up.
