This is what our party of two tried and we didn't leave a morsel behind: -Mango Tango Rolls -Kelsey Grammer's Orange Chicken -Vegetable Fried Rice -Red Bean Sesame Balls (dessert) The plating of each dish was thoughtful and lovely. The combination of fresh ingredients, sweet & savory flavors, and non-greasy entrees, piqued our tastebuds and had our appetites yearning to try more. For our next visit, we have our eyes set on ordering a tofu dish, wonton soup, and the spicy tequila shrimp. I would consider this a gourmet Chinese fusion restaurant which should appeal to a diverse set of tastebuds. The menu is pretty extensive, which also includes a full page of vegan options and unique spice combinations we are not familiar with, but open to try. The average price per entree is ~$25. “This is my favorite restaurant ever since I discovered it. The food is almost uniformly excellent. I took a chance on the swordfish this time, even though I gave up on ordering it in restaurants decades ago since they always overcook it, and it was perfect. We told them beforehand we were celebrating a birthday, and they brought out a plate of several little desserts, artistically arranged. And since they cancelled my reservation a couple of weeks ago due to having to make some kind of repairs, they started the meal with free bruchetta. On all days except Friday and Saturday, there's free corkage. But the best thing about it is the lovely ambiance and friendliness of the entire staff. I can't praise this place highly enough.“

The owner is really nice (usually at the register taking your order) and will help walk you through the menu.“
“We went on a Sunday during the farmers market around ten AM. Our first time visiting. I ordered the cloud surfer coffee which tasted lovely and had the tuna sandwich. It tasted good but was dry. The fruit was excellent and the Tajin was a nice touch. My friend ordered the special berry toast which was slightly burnt. My sister ordered the scramble with no onions. It had to be remade because they included onion the first time. She's allergic. Most of the employees were thoughtful and kind. My sister burnt her mouth on her Chai. She told the employee with long blonde hair and glasses that the drinks are too hot and she got burned and the employees response was "yeah it's hot". Later she brought our other drinks to the table, and not only didn't greet us, but didn't even say which drink was which. She didn't say a word. Dropped the drinks and left. This is the type of employee to run your business into the ground. I wouldn't want her as my coworker either. I'm gonna give her the benefit of the doubt and say she was having a bad day. All the other employees were super helpful. I want to come back to try the tacos. Sitting outside is super nice. There's a QR code that you can order from and they bring your food to you. Super convenient. It is very busy at noon and parking is a mess due to the farmers market. Good for bike riders, families and yes you can bring your dog and sit outside. Thankful for this vegan cafe, despite the one person trying to ruin it for everyone else....“

Both came with spaghetti w/marinara sauce, a garlic knot, cans or fountain drinks (they have every selection) and a delicious fresh COLD salad. Dressing was great. When I got back home 10 minutes later, hot food was piping hot. May seem a little pricey for a lunch special ($16.99 and $15.99) but it's a GREAT deal because after lunch it's $22, no drink (worth it either way.) You get what you pay for. Sauce is excellent - tastes like my Italian Grandma spent hours over the stove. Takes me four or five hours to make a sauce that tastes like that. 10 out of 10. Just a touch of sweetness, exactly the way I love it. The chicken and eggplant and salad were great, seasoned just right. My first time here but I will definitely be back to try the pizza. Other reviewers called it a hole in the wall, but I thought it was very nice and clean with great "pizza place" vibe. Other reviewers didn't like the servers, but mine (young man) was very nice and attentive. So all in all, we got two huge meals, which were actually equal to four meals - all for under $35 including drinks, salad, and rolls. Can't wait to try the pizza!!! Kudos to the owners!“
“This place is AMAZING!!! I randomly saw this place and decided to get my mom some Persian almond macaroons and she absolutely LOVED IT!! We now go back every month or so to refill on some of our favorite snacks and have gotten to know the owner who is always super friendly. I didn’t really grow up with these types of sweets and I’m sad I missed out on this in my childhood but glad that I can make up for it now. “We made a reservation for a special anniversary. We asked for a lake view seat. We arrived and were given the best seat in the place. They have outside seating but have a clear enclosure with heat lamps. Since it was raining we could not be outside, but this was really beautiful. I was afraid I would be cold but the heat lamps made it nice and warm and comfortable. Our waiter, Enoch was wonderful. We had great service. I had the Beat Salad which was good but had a weird spice in it I didn't care for, but the beats were delicious and the salad fresh. I also ordered the roasted Ravioli which was Delicious. The view was spectacular, the service was very courteous and attentive. “We used to go to the location in Encino which really went downhill over the years and is now understandably closed. We were so happy to find out that this is the original location, and it is worth the drive. The bread rolls are to die for! So yummy! My personal favorite is the mushroom salad. The small is quite large and plenty for 2 people. The size is true of all of their salads. We also had a chicken parm sandwich that we enjoyed. We were a little disappointed with the pizza. It was pretty greasy so we did not come close to finishing it (one slice and done) and honestly threw what was left out. The restaurant is huge, so lots of seating. The staff is super nice. FYI, surprisingly for a pizza restaurant, they have a huge, full-page vegan menu. Go and enjoy, just try not to fill up on the rolls before your meal shows up. LOL“

The coffee is so good and the pastries don’t just look pretty, but they’re actually delicious. Everyone who works here is so nice and goes above and beyond! I wish I knew everyone’s names but from going there as often as I do I can honestly say Tallin, Danica, Alir, Sarah and really just the whole staff is so sweet and they make you feel so welcomed! Alir makes some of the best lattes I’ve ever had and Tallin decorates the foam on the lattes and the desserts in a beautiful way! I love everything about this place and would highly recommend :)“
