Good pastries and coffee.
I stopped by Amandine Patisserie Cafe on Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by how busy they were for a weekday crowd, but still managed to get a table quickly. The croissants I ordered looked beautiful and smelled amazing - the flaky crust had just enough butter. After taking a few bites, I'd definitely recommend retrying their chocolate-dipped pastry if you missed out on it earlier; it's a favorite of mine so far.
About average. I feel like the rating here is a bit hyped with maybe a lot of locals supporting it. But as for food itself, I think it was very average. Pastries weren’t amazing but it wasn’t bad either. I would say it wasn’t memorable. The breakfast was okay ish too. We ordered Florentine omelette and it was decent. Servers were a bit cold but not rude.

Amandine Patisserie Cafe offers a charming ambiance, although it may not fully capture the authentic French experience. The menu features a range of pastries, including sweet and layered items, as well as savory options like the croque madame and a dish with eggs. Customers have praised the food, with highlights including the carne asada bowl, burritos, and the ham & cheese croissant. The cafe also sells different types of bread and has a good food menu that many have yet to explore. While the quality and pricing may vary, the staff is wonderful and kind, making it a popular breakfast destination for locals. Customers appreciate the excellent coffee and pastries, with standout items like the Caramel Latte and pastries filled with apricots, Nutella, and fruits. The cafe is known for its excellent customer service, contributing to a very nice overall experience.
