“Stumbling across this resteraunt while out and about i thought I would try it out. My heart and taste buds were always sold with another Sandwhich place in thousand oaks. This place is now at the top of my list too in Westlake. Hard to find a great sandwhich places and I finally did. The flavors, the Variety of Sandwhiches along with holiday sandwiches to choose from. In this case Thanksgiving sandwhich was available for a limited time but it was so yummy. A place you dont want to miss visiting for sure.“

What really stood out was the outstanding customer service from Jack and Mason. They were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. “We had a fantastic experience at Urban Cafe on Tapo Canyon! I came in with my daughters, who were having a hard time deciding what to order. The manager, Bridget, was absolute magic—she was so patient and offered several wonderful suggestions.
Thanks to her recommendations, my girls ended up loving their kids' grilled cheese and the Baja enchilada soup. On top of the incredible food and service, you have to save room for dessert. Their cookies are displayed right next to the registers, making them virtually impossible to resist, and they taste even better than they look!

Stopped in and ordered two Spicy Italian footlongs and had a really great experience. Brandon, the manager, helped me out and honestly went above and beyond. He was super friendly, patient while I was deciding what I wanted on both sandwiches, and made sure everything was exactly how I asked.

You can tell Brandon actually cares about his customers and takes pride in what he does. He was welcoming, had a great attitude, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Both sandwiches came out perfect too!

“With variety of sandwiches it Always difficult to choose one. Today I tried the oven roasted chicken sandwich on a Italian herbs and cheese bread, with all the toppings to go with it. “9/11/2025 Update: I have still been going and I can say that the review below is now null and void as I have seen positive changes in the service category! Service was rated 1 star and I will move it to 4 stars.

I’ve noticed the service at Jersey Mike’s Moorpark has been inconsistent over the last 2 to 3 months and I go about once a week not always on the same day. There’s always at least one employee on shift that is in a bad mood and it’s easy to see because they don’t smile, they make the sandwich in a hurried ‘can’t wait to get this over with’ fashion and just look visibly apathetic. Even a couple weeks ago a female employee tossed the sandwich to the next station, spilling some of the contents out of the sandwich lol. Today was the same lackluster customer service and I also witnessed an employee with dirty blonde hair and a mustache eat 2 cookies from the tray meant for customers, grabbing them with his bare hands no less. Not sure what’s going on because I have brought these observations to management before but clearly as long as the sandwiches are good, mediocre service is acceptable.“

“I wanted to share my experience. I had placed a large order for our event at work. I initially called in and spoke to Runa. Runa was very communicative and friendly. Overall, Staff was friendly, understanding and communicative. When I showed up to pick up the food tray at our pre-designated time, food was ready without delay. Subs were a hit for our vendors!! They left happy and satisfied. We will definitely be using them again for our future events!!“
